Complimentary park wide WiFi now available in the Magic Kingdom

I'm glad the reviews of the wireless network are positive, I'm interested to see how it handles an event where everyone wishes to use the wireless at once.

Also, I'm disappointed that I have to use my 3G network if I want to be a corset while in the park. That's unacceptable.

I was at least glad to see that there was limited service in most attractions. Too many people don't pay attention as it is, and this would have made it a lot worse!

you've got to question people who pay so much to visit then don't pay attention.

thanks for the review, definitely going to use this in december.

There didn't seem to be any access in storybook circus or by space mountain. Also when I tried to load Facebook I just got a blank page.

Facebook App or webpage? Facebook is a horrible test example as it is one of the worst dog applications out there. Try loading facebook's mobile web interface instead of using the app.

Just read throught he hands on experience article and I gotta say I'm impressed. I, like many others, really expected that the speeds would be poor and that you'd have to re-authenticate all the time because of signal loss or whatever. It's an especially impressive review when you figure it was done during peak season so the chances that a lot of folks were connected are high.

I was THRILLED to read that there is no service in the attractions themselves. I assume they probably did that on purpose for the same reasons mentioned.

My one question is this... is there any kind of "marketing" about there now being WiFi at the MK? Like signs outside the entrance or anything? Or, do you only "know" if you have your phone setup to let you know when you're in range of a network? That could obviously impact the experience.

No mention of it currently. I assume they want a soft open period to get things running well.

Right that's kind of what I assumed. Thanks Steve! I am holding onto the hope that lots of folks have devices that tell them when there is a network within range so the test wasn't too far off from what we'll experience say a year from now. :)

Here's a question. With such limited tv channels at the resorts, will we be able to access a Netlix acct from our device? And if so, I wonder if our Roku box would work with the TV since it works with a wifi signal? Interesting to find out....

I'm guessing the wireless signal won't be strong enough to stream with any consistency.
