Trip Report COMPLETED! The "Where's Mom?! I thought you had her!!" April/Disney Wedding

This is a bit overdue but I busted up my ankle and am stuck on the couch and this trip was too magical not to share with everyone, so here it goes....

The Party People:


My family of 5, I'm in the middle (Beth for those that don't have the pleasure yet), husband Lucas in red, kiddos Alexa 9, Liam 7 and Brielle 4. And the couple on the right is getting married on the Boardwalk 4-14-14!!! My sister, Allison and Jeremiah.


Lucas and I, bet you can all guess where we are in this pic from last August!


Another of the children, Brielle is 4 and has been to our 2nd home of WDW 5 times, 16 days until her 6th!!


Allison and I at another one of our happy places, DMB show last summer. She's my little sis and best friend in the world. I was so excited for her Disney wedding it was silly!!

There will be pics of the rest of the crew along the way; my mom and dad, brother and gf and her daughter (thank goodness he’s in the process of breaking up with this nut-job right now), as well as some of Jeremiah's family. Oh and "little Beth", my sister's bestie who surprised her and bought a ticket to join us the week before. Love that girl!

Our Crib:

Saratoga Springs Resort Treehouse; my mom travelled with us, her first Disney visit!!! Then Bride and Groom join us for a few nights before switching to Yacht Club. MOH, Mother of the Bride and bestie Beth get to stay with Bridezilla the night before the big day!



Posting this here now because I’m having trouble finding the rest of my resort pics anyway….this might be it!!!

Be prepared for a butt load of wedding pics and a bit lighter on everything else...go figure! There will also be quite a bit of foolish immature shenanigans.
I would have started with more of an intro but I'm a rookie and lost so much of this part way through and had to start over!!

The bubble bath pic is the best!!! Love that you girls had a sleep over the night before the wedding. What a fun idea! Can't wait for the rest of the wedding pics.

My kiddos love filling those jacuzzis up with bubbles. so fun! That sleepover was so much fun and special for us girls before her big day.

Thanks a bunch, it was pretty nuts having that much make up on, I typically am pretty light with it. We definitely are a fun group, it's hard not to have a happy blast in WDW though!

My maid of honor toast, not a dry eye in the group. Even my Liam shed a tear when I mentioned how we could officially call him Uncle Jerry! So sweet.

Let them eat cake, the cake was delicious, we brought it to our Cali Grill dinner for later. Almond cake with a chocolate buttercream filling.

Not the greatest but the whole family in one picture is never easy! This is where Brielle decides she doesn’t really like all these photos anymore. Ugh

After all of the family photos were done the photographer had me stay to help him out a little with some more shots of Allison and Jeremiah. This guy was fantastic!





ESPN in the background, cool since that’s who Jeremiah works for.





I bustled her dress, we are all set to hop in the limo again over to the Contemporary.





Had to get a picture with the most magical wedding coordinator Sarah, we all LOVED her, she was just fantastic.




Do they look happy or what?! On our way to dinner, so I’m really happy too because I’ve been looking forward to that filet for too long!

Awe, Brielle perked up again at dinnertime, phew!


I ordered the Spicy Kazan roll as my starter because I’m obsessed and I was too excited to stuff it in my face to take a picture, sorry! Haha, you know how it is. Lucas ordered one of the flat breads, can’t remember which one because I was really focused on my favorite sushi roll.








Awe, I see the castle back there, waiting for our entrees.





And there it is, a bit sloppier and saucier than I’ve seen it photographed before but trust me I was not complaining at all that just meant more of that sexy tomato butter for me! This entrée lived up to my expectations, no doubt and let me also mention that I will be eating it again on Friday!!!!!





I grabbed a picture of my sister’s scallops too because they looked pretty; she loved her meal as well!

Um, bathroom selfie? Sensing a trend here, we had a good time taking our own picture





There was another bride having their reception dinner at Cali. Her name was Emily and she was from London and she was lovely. They had their ceremony at the Wedding Pavillion at GF.


My sister was so popular everywhere we went. Little girls thought she was Elsa, and the sweetest thing was when a little girl came up to her and asked for her autograph and a picture with her, “You’re a real life princess”. AWWWWEEE!!

Dad and I. Bethy bought me this Tommy Bahama dress that I absolutely loved in the gift shop, that’s what’s inside my bag.





Back at the Yacht Club, this is a blurry one but it looks like I’m wearing a crown and I like it, haha.


This was one of the last pictures we took that night; we went to Jellyrolls for a couple more beverages and some dancing. We had a blast!


The next morning was not a blast, ugh, I was in some rough shape. I went to the café to find a cure….





Let me tell you this bad boy was fabulous!! Sorry, I took like 3 bites before I took a picture. Italian hoagie and a fountain coke brought me back to life a bit. Phew. My mouth is actually watering thinking about it right now, I need to have this again, so YUM!


We hung out at the pool for a little while and next up was our dinner at Artist Point.





Lucas started with the Smoky Portobello Soup, delicious!





I had the Artisanal Cheese Selection, also delicious, I LOVE me some cheese.





Lucas had some Cornish Game Hen entrée that he hated.





I had the Cedar plank roasted King Salmon, which was lovely

We loved her gown, she was surprised with what she ended up choosing, it was so sparkley/blingy! But when she put that one on it was obvious it was hers and we added the sash to it, gorgeous!
My husband gets frustrated with the sister language and constant inside jokes. Haha

The kid’s all ordered the paint a puzzle dessert. I love this thing, keeps them quiet and busy for a spell





Happy Brie


After dinner we took the boat over to MK because I had to see Wishes of course. Lucas was on a mission to get the kids on Big Thunder and Space. For some reason I really can’t remember what else we did that night before Wishes. I found a decent spot for my mom, Brielle and I to watch the Castle Projection show. Oh wait….I just remembered, haha, Lucas, Alexa, Liam and my mom went on Pirates and Brielle was too scared so I took her on the Flying Carpets. Then we split again for the fireworks. My mom loved Wishes and I got emotional because I always do and the next day was our last. I just can’t deal with these trips coming to an end. I was exhausted and really still not feeling well, I didn’t take a single picture in MK that night. Yikes!!


My mom really wanted to see Epcot so that’s where we headed the next day after we finished packing up our bags and loading our car.






A little more Flower and Garden.


We hit up Nemo and Turtle Talk and walked around the Seas a little. We walked around a bit longer but Brielle was losing it again and we didn’t have the stroller rental anymore. So Downtown Disney for a late lunch and some final shopping was all we had left to do.





Brielle refused to get in this picture, oh well.





Our traditional wave good-bye to WDW every trip photo. So sad, this is the first time this was done in Epcot, we always wave goodbye to Magic Kingdom.





My Margherita pizza from Wolfgang Puck Express, I love it!!!





My Crème Brulee, I am a huge fan of crème brulee….it makes me so happy.





Brielle and I were chilling outside of the shops for a little while. I so did not want to go back home especially when I heard that it was in the 30s…yuck!!


We bought a couple paintings at the Art of Disney to add to our collection. Here they are, we have 4 others from previous trips!

And then that was it, another trip in the books. Off to the airport until next time.


Lucky for me that next time is this Thursday, that’s just nutty and magical!!! Time sure does fly, especially when you’re counting down to your next Disney vacation.

Awe, thank you! And you're totally right, no way was I going to trust that dude's opinion either. He's especially dumbest when it comes to dining, no doubt. Take my word for it though, that piece of meat is slammin!! My mouth is watering thinking about it too, it's all mine again on Friday! Holler!
