Trip Report COMPLETED! The "Where's Mom?! I thought you had her!!" April/Disney Wedding

This is a bit overdue but I busted up my ankle and am stuck on the couch and this trip was too magical not to share with everyone, so here it goes....

The Party People:

My family of 5, I'm in the middle (Beth for those that don't have the pleasure yet), husband Lucas in red, kiddos Alexa 9, Liam 7 and Brielle 4. And the couple on the right is getting married on the Boardwalk 4-14-14!!! My sister, Allison and Jeremiah.

Lucas and I, bet you can all guess where we are in this pic from last August!

Another of the children, Brielle is 4 and has been to our 2nd home of WDW 5 times, 16 days until her 6th!!

Allison and I at another one of our happy places, DMB show last summer. She's my little sis and best friend in the world. I was so excited for her Disney wedding it was silly!! :joyfull:

There will be pics of the rest of the crew along the way; my mom and dad, brother and gf and her daughter (thank goodness he’s in the process of breaking up with this nut-job right now), as well as some of Jeremiah's family. Oh and "little Beth", my sister's bestie who surprised her and bought a ticket to join us the week before. Love that girl!

Our Crib:

Saratoga Springs Resort Treehouse; my mom travelled with us, her first Disney visit!!! Then Bride and Groom join us for a few nights before switching to Yacht Club. MOH, Mother of the Bride and bestie Beth get to stay with Bridezilla the night before the big day!

Posting this here now because I’m having trouble finding the rest of my resort pics anyway….this might be it!!! :(

Be prepared for a butt load of wedding pics and a bit lighter on everything else...go figure! There will also be quite a bit of foolish immature shenanigans.
I would have started with more of an intro but I'm a rookie and lost so much of this part way through and had to start over!! :banghead:

Bare with me friends and have sympathy...

After face-painting we were off to Star Tours together. My sister stayed off with Marcella and Gianna (oh that might be the first time I mentioned the gf and daughter’s names, oops). This was kind of a big deal for Brielle, it’s her first trip that she’s over 40 inches but she wasn’t quite brave enough for Splash or Thunder yet. We waited about 25 minutes in stand-by and had to give Brielle a cell phone to keep her busy taking about 200 selfies. Of course she loved it and has promised me that she’ll be braver next trip.

I honestly can’t remember the exact order of events and can’t find enough pictures to figure it out! Pretty sure we grabbed lunch/drinks at Studio Catering Company and that High Octane bar. My sister and I got Long Island Iced teas. The kids all got sugary blue Slushies.

Next up is the Lights, Motor Action! Stunt show, which we all enjoy! Brielle was sort of starting to lose her cool around this point. I had to carry her up all those dang stairs.

Me and my first girl!

Here they come!

FIRE!

Next up was the necessary Rockin Roller Coaster, I sacrificed myself to stay with Brielle, my dad and sis. Brielle was losing it and stared the crying on Sunset Blvd. So my sister got in line for those neon yellow frozen margaritas over there. My dad took a picture of each of his daughter’s with their margaritas….

Awe, she looks so cute and happy with her cocktail in the blazing sunshine!

And then there’s me…yikes!! Stop crying please Brielle…we are in WDW!! That margarita was delicious and helped out a bit.

If helping is making bad shopping decisions to make her happy for a bit. The rest of the crew comes off Aerosmith and they all want to see Indy. No way was Brie going in for that show so we kept the split. I went to Animation Courtyard and bought Brie 4 or 5 of the Disney Jr stuffed animals. Someone took a pic of her in the stroller with all of this spoiledness and I can’t track it down. She also had some other friends with her from earlier in the trip, I think a Belle baby and Belle pillow or something?

So, needless to say it was time for Stellas and a selfie. I loved when my dad called us over to the beer cart to have us prove his daughters were over 21!

Impromptu Disney dance party to cheer up cranky and possibly spoiled child. You can also sneak a peek into the stroller at some of the goods she scored.

Up next was dinner at 50s Prime Time Café with my dad. For some crazy reason we haven’t eaten here, crazy reason being Lucas kept turning down my requests….who ends up being the biggest fan? Yeah, Lucas.

Me and my girls. Brielle pulled it together and actually behaved through our whole meal

We started with the onion rings and Fried Herb and Garlic cheese, both were delicious!!

Wow, Lucas and I ordered the same Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken. Yesss!! Lucas liked it so much he asked our server to take 2 buckets home to go. They were baffled by this and said nobody else had ever made that request. The chef came out a bit later and slammed down our take out containers place in 2 buckets onto our table. Good stuff.

Alexa was so pumped about her Smores.

And Dad’s Brownie Sundae was an awesome ending to my rough day in HS.

We were all wiped out and headed back to the Treehouse after dinner. Next day is pretty major, it’s the day before the wedding!!

I LOVE your trek around the world! You are too funny! I have always wanted a sister and I love reading about how you two can make each other laugh for no reason at all. I feel the same way about my best friend, when we were in Disney we were both cracking up laughing for no apparent reason.. it's just a metal connection of funniness.. Haha!

Love your Gaston pictures! He is such a great character! I really enjoyed meeting him and your pictures prove how much he hams it up.. LOL...

Loving it :)
Having a sister is the best eva!! She'll be my bestie for life. We share the same very immature sense of humor, my dad does too, I mean who really wants to ever be a serious grown up all the time?! I do have that mental connection with other girlfriends too, silly fun is the best no matter where you find it!
Gaston is the man!

Great report, with some really nice pictures. I really enjoyed the walk around the World showcase. Following along.
Thanks so much! I absolutely LOVE the World Showcase, whether I'm drinking or not; it's just always a new and great experience every-time! :)

So today is kind of a chill day, everyone is all pumped up about the next day…can’t believe they’re getting married in Disney!!

We made a big breakfast in the Treehouse, eggs, bacon, and bagels and ate it together outside on the deck. Jeremiah was so pumped up, it was great…he had to drive into Orlando to pick up the tuxes for all the guys and then his mom and brother from the airport a little later. Lucas took the kids to the main pool and I stayed back to help my sister fill out a form from the Justice of the Peace to put their ceremony all together.

We had our manicures and pedicures scheduled at Senses Spa at Saratoga for noon. My mom was joining us for just a pedicure, her first ever! We got to the pool area with enough time to enjoy a cocktail before our appointment. I hung out with the kids again for a little bit in the arcade. And then it was time for a little R and R at the spa….

Bridezilla in her throne, they actually gave her a little tiara hair clip, but it’s hard to see, super cute!

The services were fantastic here I recommend it to everyone! The girls were really sweet too. We had other pictures taken but the lighting was bad and they just don’t look great. Little Beth shows up and rolls into the spa with her luggage and we all squeal and hug and are just super excited.

After the spa we brought Little Bethy back to the Treehouse for a couple pre-dinner cocktails. Then we all got ready for our dinner at Ohana. “The Beths” traded dresses. This was a larger dining party; my fam of 5, mom, Allison and Jerry, Jerry’s mom and Bethy!

“Ohana means family and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten”

My kids love Beth, so sweet!

My sweet little cookie and I.

Another happy sister selfie!

I’ll give you guys one guess what I drink I ordered….

Duh!

Bethy’s first time at Ohana!

A very happy bride to be!

AWWWWWWW!

Beths! My Liam took this cutie pic of us.

Quick side story here, my sister’s bestie’s name is Beth and my bestie’s name is Alison…huh? I just love this and put the 4 of us together and rut-roh, good times!

This bride has ‘Ohana’s bread pudding the night before her big day, she don’t mess around. They also brought out chocolate covered strawberries special for the bride and groom.

Up next a bit of our silly shenanigans during our fun girls sleepover at Yacht Club. And then "Somebody's getting married!!!!"

We truly did have a wonderful time! It's kind of funny to talk about our Brielle this way, she's seriously the happiest kid ever...she was sick just before the trip and just wasn't quite herself. I have to agree that they're pretty cute, thanks! ;) And thank you so much for following along, it's great to share it and relive it! :)

Fantastic! I love making people laugh, I would totally re-do that night around the world in a heartbeat, it was perfect. My ankle is so much better; unfortunately I got in a small car accident yesterday just to turn things upside down again!! It's not the best time to be without a car when I have so many pre-trip errands to run. :arghh: I just keep telling myself, this time next week I'm in Disney again and staying at GFV.

I have to toss this silly bubble bath pics in here; I can’t remember which night this took place but they were pretty pumped about it. Haha

After ‘Ohana we headed back to the Treehouse; Beth, Allison, my mom and I packed our overnight bags and headed over to check into the Yacht Club. I’ve stayed a BCV before and enjoyed it of course but I have to say that I prefer the décor in the Yacht Club rooms.

My pretty bed.

Our Pretty View

I brought this mad cat with me for the night, of course!

I’d like to think that nobody else has taken this creative wedding gown shot.

We went down to the bar for a glass of wine and the 3 of us sat in a couch in front of the fireplace and laughed until we were all crying about I have no idea what.

Silly sis sits at this desk and tells me to take a pic of her being a president on our way back up to the room

Grow up?! Never!!! Took this one on wedding morning when we were off to pick up my girls at the Treehouse.

Coming up next….Hair and Makeup!!!!

Alrighty, remember that warning at the start about how there will be a ton of wedding day photos? Here we are!!

tumblr_m5iylbWG691rpn7e8o1_500.jpg

We scooped up my girls, time to get all gussied up in our room at the Yacht Club together!

Had to take a picture of the hallway, I kept on saying I felt like we were on the Titanic and the water would be rushing at us any minute. What a weirdo…

A bit blurry but can you tell Brielle is excited?!

Miss Karol for just a little longer…

Absolutely gorgeous day for a magical Disney wedding!!

Mimosas, yummy! Cheers!

I got my hair did

Whoa!! That make up chick was so good and so much fun, she sang Vanilla Ice with us. While she was putting my fake eyelashes on Brielle said I looked like a vampire. LOL

Lol! All the characters on True Blood wear false eyelashes! Would you recommend the makeup artist for my DD's senior pics next summer? BTW...you look gorgeous!
Ha! I've never watched that show and my kids definitely haven't either...it was just such a funny comment coming from the 4 year old.
I would absolutely recommend this makeup artist, she was so professional and amazing. She really only started singing and dancing to Vanilla Ice because I told her too...haha! Let me know if you want their contact info, I'll get it from my sister.

The gown and Brielle’s flower girl dress

Make up all done, time to get dressed!!

I LOVE this one.

Off we go to catch our limo over to the Boardwalk

Haha, just a brief moment of freaking out….omg she’s getting married!!!

There we go, she settled back down.

My gorgeous daughters.

Limo selfie, almost there!! When my dad opened up the limo door for us at the Boardwalk he asked if he had the wrong car, haha!
