Trip Report COMPLETED!!! 2 Brits, 2 weeks and 2 Tonnes of fun!!!

I’ve been lurking on the WDWmagic website for a while and have fell in love with all your trip reports. With a trip coming up soon me and the other half thought why not give it a go!!

So who will be in the report?
I’m Tasha (Natasha) and I’m a veterinarian from the UK and my family are Disney lovers for life. My parents are DVC members and this will be my 20th (I think??!!) visit to Disney world Florida :O

20180805_161316.jpg

The other person you’ll mainly be seeing in this trip report is Adam. Adam is my fiancé who has caught the Disney bug also! This will be his 3rd visit to the world. Adam is a die-hard American football and New Orleans Saints fan (he says he bleeds black and gold if this means anything to anyone…). He is looking to expand his jersey collection of every NFL team and is welcome for suggestions on places to go to buy them.

This is the last holiday we go on before we become husband and wife after 11 years of being together (its about time… :p )! It’s also the first trip that we will have at disney world as a couple without other family members present through the whole trip. Both of us may write up parts of this report so I will be N and Adam will be A from now on.

When, Where and How long?
We will be staying in the Avanti resort on international drive for 15 nights from the 22nd September to the 7th October. We have stayed on Disney property many times previously but decided that we will use our hotel as a base this trip and save our pennies for experiences and the wedding next year. We also have a large family trip planned for the world in September 2019, staying in boardwalk villas so we’re happy to wait until then for our ‘on property’ experience.

Tickets
As we have two, two week trips planned within a year time frame we have bought annual passes for both Disney world and Universal. We love Halloween and have also purchased the frequent fear plus pass for Halloween horror nights (HHN). I think we will mostly spend our time in disney but we’re happy to be flexible and make the best of both locations!

Planning
We have been really torn this trip between allowing free time to relax and see what we fancy doing vs booking fast passes and ADR’s. The compromise has been to have fast passes planned for must do rides and parks and ‘relax days’ but we will ultimately let how we’re feeling guide the holiday. Staying off site has meant we have been unable to catch some of our most sought after fast passes e.g. slinky dog dash and FOP, but we keep checking the MDE app and are planning standby line if we need to (i really hope we dont!!). I should also mention that my mum and dad have a trip planned that overlaps ours by a couple of days at the end of the holiday so we’re planning to catch up with them as well.

So we left immediately after work, N already had the day off so she was just waiting for me, luckily I smooth talked my boss into leaving a couple of hours early, I rushed back home grabbed the bags and threw them all in... well more like squeezed them in (the car isn't huge) and we darted off to Manchester. We had already planned to avoid tea until we got a little bit nearer and we pulled in at a 5 guys prior to getting to the hotel as we knew the food in the hotel was a little on the pricey side. I got a burger with all the trimmings (gotta love those unlimited toppings) and N went for the basic burger (IKR) btw how great is the Sprite Grape flavor there?!
20180921_190815.jpg

After food we quickly topped up the car on petrol cause we knew we wouldn't be in the mood to stop when we get back and headed on to the hotel. We stayed in the Raddison Blu that's actually on the airport (176 GBP for one night and 16 days parking - Believe it or not, it was the cheapest option we could find nearby) lovely hotel and lovely rooms. Staff were very helpful with the long stay parking, only issue was they only had one working lift for the hotel so now and again we had to use staff lift which was a little awkward to use.

Then we settled in and tried to get some sleep before the following day! (Maybe a little too excited to sleep)

I was woken about half 6 (our flight wasn't till 12:20 but and very excited N wouldn't let me sleep in any longer) we packed all our stuff up and headed for the terminal. It was really nice to just walk straight out the hotel and into the airport, made getting there just that little bit easier.

We got checked in quite quickly as we paid for the express check in and security with Thomas cook and got breakfast in Giraffe with a nice view too!
20180922_092834.jpg

We both had the eggs Benedict, N had it with bacon and I had it with Smoked Salmon (Normally not a big fish guy but it was damn tasty)

We got early check in on the plane and headed towards our seats at the back of the plane, I know normally the back seats are frowned upon but I always prefer them as remember reading an article a few years back stating that your 40% more likely to survive if your sat at the back than those at the front. (I know, I know... I used to be a terribly nervous flyer and this stat has always put me a little more at ease hehe!)

Flight wasn't to bad, not many crying kids considering we were heading to Orlando, Thomas cook had some decent moves on their basic packages, there were more available if we were willing to pay for it but we'd already downloaded some netflix movies, tv shows and podcasts here and there so we were well prepped for the long haul.
20180922_115759.jpg

We landed on time approx 17:30 stateside time and got going to collect our car, we got super lucky on the monorail leaving the airport as we were literally the only people in our carriage!
20180922_183346.jpg

We decided to head to Wal-Mart before going to the hotel to get some of the essentials (Shampoo, cereal and stuff) I got some Boo-berry and N got some Oreo cereal. We love trying all the american cereals the ones back home are kind of boring.

We checked in and went to our room, which apparently we got a free upgrade on from normal to kingsize? Either way it was pretty sizeable with a bed big enough to loose each other in and nice large sofa in the room as well, they had all the other bits as well, microwave, mini fridge etc, only problem was they provided you with these nice bits but there were no utensils provided like bowls, knifes and forks etc. I know when we have previously stayed in Disney these have been provided but unsure if this is standard across other hotels? So in the end we borrowed some plastic spoons from the hotel cafe and bought some paper bowls from Walgreens. (We have been spoilt by Disney!) We will give thoughts on our hotel at the end of the report.
We got a nice little view of these just outside our room to the right as well!
20180922_202307.jpg

After checking in, we were both starved and I had already done some research on fast food places in the area and opted to head to a place called 'Kings Pizza' down international drive and my word was it pizza fit for a king. They do pizzas up to 24 inches in size!! considering our biggest size over here is about 14 inches I was super excited for this, however when we got there and realized how big these monsters were N convinced me to go for the 18 inch (Medium) N hates olives on the pizza but i can't get enough of them so i got them to put them on half of it for a 'meat lovers' pizza. It. Was. Amazing. We even had leftovers for breakfast.
20180922_213954.jpg

Samsung S8 for scale...

We then flopped into bed to get ready for our first day in Disney!

N woke up about 0530 Hours and eventually dragged me out of bed at about 0630 (I don't do mornings) and we got ready to set off for the Magic Kingdom! Sidenote: First time driving an automatic in the states so driving there was a little nerve-wracking for me!

We got in and decided to take the boat to the Kingdom I always prefer this way as it's a little slower and lets the excitement build just that little more when you can see the castle getting bigger and bigger!
20180923_090243.jpg

Also spotted the hidden mickey on arrival!
20180923_090906.jpg

We headed straight to our favorite ride Jungle Cruise! I know it's not super high octane but we both love the puns so it's always enjoyable for us. Even though 90% of the time we feel like we're the only people laughing? Does anyone else get this?
20180923_092622.jpg

Excited waiting for the ride!

Since we bought annual passes, we headed over to get our magic bands from the ticket office in liberty square, I lost mine from last year so had to get a new one, and was glad we got a free new one with our annual passes. N went for green and I normally would have gone for the standard blokey blue or grey, but I noticed that a lot of people hadn't selected the yellow. So being the hipster I am I opted for this. 'It's actually a good yellow' the guy at the ticket office agreed with me.

Next we did pirates, but unfortunately we didn't get the picture through. (Probably for the best cause I think we were both just staring gormless anyways) for some reason, we got absolutely soaked in row one, never happened before but yeah... full on wave hit us and then we got hit by splash cannons as well. Such a bad day to wear grey shorts!!

Next, we thought whilst we were still sodden, we might as well head on splash mountain, again we got front row... and yep... again we got absolutely soaked! Splash mountain is still one of my favorite rides of all time though, and the drop doesn't scare me one bit... honest...
20180923_121852.jpg

think a fly got in my throat or something...

Next, we jumped onto Thunder mountain to try and dry off in the breeze, obviously as you can tell by the photo below it didn't help too much as i still look like I've wet myself.
20180923_121852.jpg

Next we were feeling a bit hungry, after only having a slice of pizza between the two of us for breakfast so grabbed some fajitas at Pecos Bills. Food is always great in there and we love Tex Mex. I had the Taco Trio and N had the Fajitas. We shared a kids Nachos. The fajitas were really filling and we were able to share the rice and beans that came with the meal.

We had a fast pass due for space mountain, but decided we should probably go on something low key first in order not to create a vomit comit on the ride. So we did a quick go on TTA and then popped over to zap a few Zurgs on Buzz lightyear with another super photogenic pose from me, N was far to focused on getting those points, we both need to get better points though... I think we got space ranger? or something of the sort.
20180923_121852.jpg

Next was space mountain, when we went last year it was closed everytime we tried it so we were well overdue for a ride on it, N had never sat at the front before and said it was quite a different experience of constantly feeling like your about to hit a wall or go flying off the rails. I personally live in constant fear that i'm going to clip my head on something as we are going around. Either way it was way more fun than we remembered! Unfortunatly didn't get the photo for this either. :(

After that it was getting on for about 1400 so we decided to head back to the hotel and get ready for some tea. We were also toying with the idea of heading to Halloween horror nights depending on how we were feeling.

After a quick swim in the pool at the hotel, we got ready and headed to Red Lobster, I hate seafood over on our side of the pond, but the Americans sure know how to cook it! We went all out, I had the Admirals or the seafarers feast? Either way, there was a lot of shrimp and I can't get enough of the stuff. N went for crab legs, cause she cannot get enough of them either. I suck at cracking them open so I just don't bother.
20180923_182031.jpg

Omnomnom!

Our waiter Carlos, was a straight talking no nonsense kind of waiter, not the kind of guy who pretends to like you for extra tips, but whenever we needed something he was there and always kept a check on us too.

We were still feeling pretty hyped so decided to head straight to Universal to check out the Halloween Horror nights! The wait times were a ranging from about 40 mins up to 90, but for our first night we were happy to potter around the scare zones and buy our t-shirts for the following nights. We did manage to pop in to see the academy of villains show though, N heard some bad reviews, but not sure where from as we both thought it was fantastic. However it annoyed is seeing everyone rush out of their seats the moment the show ended rather than giving the performers the applause they deserved. Thoroughly enjoyable show, would absolutely recommend.
20180923_194558.jpg

Sidenote: We actually used our halloween horror nights tickets to get in, so technically our annual passes weren't 'activated' so we shouldn't have received discount for some of the items we bought, but the TM's at universal were really helpful and said it wasn't an issue and after some managerial involvement they gave us the discount.

They even had some cool bits from Stranger things in the shop, the manager told me that the helmet was the same one they used on set!
20180923_221104.jpg

Unfortunately N wouldn't let me buy the Halloween Mask I wanted as it was just to scary for her... I don't know... personally I thing it was one of my better hair days right?
20180923_223204.jpg

Got back to the hotel about 2230ish and thoroughly ready for bed.

Today we had reservations for a meal at Tepen Edo in Epcot so planned on spending the day there.

We started the day a little later as we had a trip to Dennys for breakfast.
Of course... it was amazing...
20180924_100713.jpg

American hashbrowns are SOOOOO much better than ours!

Also... Cake Batter Milkshake?? I was always too full to try it but next time I will be forcing this one down me, it sounded amazing!
20180924_103336.jpg

We got to the park about... 0930ish. got the standard picture in front of SSE
20180924_103337.jpg

We started with a gentle stroll through the park, and dropped into the coke store, I love to try all the different flavors, I think the Kiwi one is my favorite, N's is the Lemon one after that N asked if I wanted to meet Baymax as a joke... don't think she expected me to say 'OH MY GOD YES! LETS GO NOW!!!' as you can see... It was clearly the best day of our life and was worth the approx 20-30 min wait.
20180924_103338.jpg

He's so Squishy!!

Sidenote: Should probably mention that me and N have an in joke whenever she gets back from her night shifts I sometimes put her Baymax teddy in some kind of outfit of position to make her chuckle.
Pics below!

New look for the second movie perhaps?

from there we headed to the finding Nemo ride. Tried to stifle the rage within us when we got sneak pushed past by some woman going on the ride by herself, the moment there was gap left either side of a couple she would slyly sneak in front of them did the same to us and a couple in front... The only thing that kept me calm was the thought she was by herself so she was obviously having a rubbish time. :p

from there we spent a good ten minutes watching the manatees as we had already booked a swim with them over in crystal River next week, so we sat and watched the cute little guys there for a while. :)
20180924_123233.jpg

after that we went on mission space, I'm not a huge fan of Orange team so we headed to the Green one. It was awesome of course, I love pressing all the buttons and flicking the switches pretending like i'm in Apollo 13! :p Just a shame I don't have the cojones to stomach the Orange one! :in pain:

Our fast pass for test track was next, we used N's band for creating the car, but when we swiped our magic bands, it remembered by design from last year. Despite the fact that we both made an absolute monstrosity of a car it actually got better ratings than last year! so go us!
Standard photo pose below of course.
20180924_123234.jpg

We saw a few things that we wanted to try in the food and wine festival, we tried the shrimp dip at coastal eats 10/10 would recommend. The piggy wings over at BBQ pit? i think? give them a solid 8/10 after that, we tried the boursin cheescake at the cheese stand 11/10 if you don't try it whilst your there you are missing out. Then finally finished off with the cheese and bacon soup over at Canada which was rather tasty indeed! 9/10.

After that there wasn't an awful lot to do in Epcot that we were desperate to have a go on, we had a look round some of the shops and stuff, did the mexico ride, etc but generally found ourselves waiting for our booking. We decided to get on a boat and head to Boardwalk for a look around, but ended up feeling sad that we weren't staying there, not because our hotel wasn't awful but it's just not Disney... you know what I mean? We stayed in Boardwalk in 2012 & 2008 so we do love the place!

It also then decided to bucket it down, so we sat under shelter for a good half an hour 45 mins waiting for it to stop, and watched a wedding get semi rained off as well. They waited it too and we got to see them arrive :)
20180924_180354.jpg

Horse drawn carriage and everything!!

By then it was getting pretty close to our booking time and the boats weren't still running so we had a slow walk back to Epcot and headed straight to Japan for Tepen Edo. Oh my days... it was 110% worth the wait.

I ordered the chicken and Shrimp and N ordered the Steak and shrimp. The chef cooked everything to perfection it was absolutely amazing, he did plenty of tricks for the table and kept us all engaged and chatting, everyone was very friendly considering we were all a bunch of strangers but it was a very nice atmosphere. I think if you went there with a full family it would be a great experience.

20180924_193053.jpg

This was something the chef did with the Onions to make a 'Volcano' it was a neat little trick where he stacked it up nice and high then added his 'Magic Water' to make it seem like there was steam coming out of the top. This was just one of many things he did during the night.

After that, we opted against dessert as I wanted to head to Germany and get the Caramal Smore they do there (Oh my god, it's amazing) and some popcorn for Illuminations. We sat just inbetween Mexico and the area towards wold showcase ready for a speedy exit, and sat and waited it out!
20180924_205040.jpg

Of course Illuminations was amazing, the only thing that bothers me is that people stand there with their phones recording the whole show... i mean... do people really want to watch their blurry footage of illuminations when you can very easily find a HD copy of it on youtube?

It was also very sad when N reminded me that this will probably be the last time we watch Illumations as I hear they are getting rid of it at some point.

Anyways, after the show we shot off and got back to the hotel around 2230 again. :)

Our next day started at 1000 and we were eager to start! We were at Animal Kingdom today and we both love a lot of the rides here so we were excited to get started!

We had a fastpass for Everest, Nav'ai River Journey and then K Safaris

Obviously Everest got us off to a great start.
20180925_102502.jpg

Playing it cool... but not as cool as the kid behind us...

From there it was on to dinosaur, we love this ride, even though we are always somewhat bewildered as to why parents take there kids on it when 90% of them come off it in tears! We do get a bit of a chuckle out of this though we are ashamed to admit... we posed for a photo.. but alas... it never came through :(

We were both pretty hungry as we skipped breakfast because we were still full from Tepen Edo the night before... and the smore... and the popcorn... and I ate a bunch of crisps when i was a little drunk watching MNF.

Aaaaaanyways... we dropped into the T-Rex cafe and got the Shrimp and Nuggets combo. We loveeeee the Nugs! Dip them beauties in some mustard or BBQ... A-M-A-Zing!

We had a walk through the maharajah jungle trek and saw some of the animals, one poor buffalo was having a lovely bath until his mate walked in and decided to have a massive dump whilst he was in there! Poor guy!

Theres the perp on the left...
20180925_111129.jpg

from there we had our Nav'ai River journey fastpass, but noticed that the usual 140 min plus wait time on flights of passage was down to 50 mins. So we decided to cancel the fastpass for someone else to use and wait in the standby for flights of passage.

20180925_131422.jpg

Look at them Nashers!

20180925_133959.jpg

Well worth the wait, even though it was bang on 50 mins we don't feel like it was too much. However, when we eventually got onto the ride and sat in the chairs, the moment that vibrating thing starts going off on the stomach plate to make it feel like you are changing over to your Avatar one kid absolutely FREAKED OUT, we were all ready to go until we heard screaming coming from the other room and 3 or 4 other people shouting for help. No idea what was going on but a CM halted the ride and came in and from what it sounded like released two people from the chairs and came back through and said to us 'Enjoy the ride!' which we all chuckled at.
Not sure how the kid got this far considering we were warned about how this ride, dangles you from an elevated position, if your uncomfortable in small spaces etc but yeah... Then AGAIN just as the ride was about to start we heard someone else shout 'Excuse me sir?' from the other room we all dropped our heads in disappointment but we assumed the CM didn't hear it as the ride started almost immediately after this. We didn't hear any screams during the ride so i'm sure they were fine...

We did a Kilmanjaro safari, which we got some great pictures from.
20180925_144359.jpg

It was about 1400, and we were quite warm it was something like late 90s Fahrenheit, so we left the park and headed for blizzard beach (We had pre-packed some swimming stuff just incase) we had a chill in the wave pool, I finally plucked up the courage to do Summit Plummit for the first time ever, N said she would watch from the bottom but didn't fancy it herself. I got in the single rider queue for the ski lift, but after 3 or 4 groups of three in front of me the CM gave me a ski lift all to myself! I got to the top of the ride and saw a young lad hanging about and asked him if he'd done it before, he said three times today! so I gestured for him 'the pro' to go first. I just got in crossed my arms and didn't think about it. It was so amazing!! apart from the fact that the moment I went over the edge I let all the air out of lungs by screaming like a girl and felt like i was drowning on the final part of the ride where all i could see was water haha! Would definitely do it again though.

We chilled on the lazy river for a while. the park was practically deserted as we were the only people in the lazy river.

We dried off and headed back to Animal Kingdom for the rivers of light. There was a short wait time for Everest so we jumped on that as well. Doing it with the standard 'Finger Pistols' pose and N doing her best angry Yeti Impression.
20180925_183713.jpg

After that N decided to have a quick look at the fastpasses and HUZZAH! it was a miracle we had one pop up for Flights of Passage, so we snaffled it up and ran back over to Pandora to do it again! Probably one of the best moments of the holiday, we literally walked straight on to the ride with zero wait time.
20180925_183829.jpg

Sidenote: We saw some CM's having a game of invisible catch when they saw us watching one of them went to throw it to N but before she could catch it I leaped infront of her shouting 'INTERCEPTION!' before throwing it back to the CM's. Further sidenote: Diving into the air in flip flops is a very dangerous move, do not try at home!

We sat and waited for rivers of light and thoroughly enjoyed it, however... does it bother anyone else when CM's ask people to slide up the bench to make room for other people and no one moves?? Maybe it's the British in us, but at least shuffle right??
20180925_194420.jpg

Got back to the room at 2130 ish and settled in looking forward to a bit more of a chilled day tomorrow!

Today was going to be more of a chilled day because we had Halloween Horror Nights Express passes for the evening, so we started the day off at Dennys, forgot to get pictures but N got the Grand Slam slugger with Pancakes and all and i went for the Santa Fey Sizzler plate, it had a little kick to it which was nice!

Got to premium outlets and did some looking around, obviously the first stop was the Sketchers store because after all the walking around yesterday my trainers somewhat tore up my little toe, N just loves sketchers anyways so she got some just because she could.

Popped into American Eagle because I love their shorts, joggers, hoodies, t-shirts... you know what? I just love everything in there. Only went in to have a look but ended up buying half the store!

Also bought myself a new saints cap, N got herself a Toy story t shirt in XXL for sleeping in from the disney store.

We went back to relax at the hotel as our next great challenge was ahead of us! Waiting it out in the stay and scream for Halloween Horror Nights!

We got to universal about 1430/1500 ish... we managed to do Despicable me and then headed to get a drink, and some Ice cream from the Ben and jerrys store, N got some kind of salted caramel concoction and i had something with Bananna and pecans in (9 Dollars). We thought we were being super smart by getting ice cream to keep us cool in the holding area near Finnegans... We were wrong... it was so hot the moment we left the ice cream store our ice cream pots started melting and overflowing whilst we were trying to get our tickets out for the holding area, it was spilling everywhere and we were super annoyed! We got to the front of the holding area though... so small blessings... But it was... HOT.
20180926_162804.jpg

Red is not our best look...

We sat their toasting our bottoms on the pavement for about an hour and half. (not even joking, we had burn marks where our skin had touched the pavement)

It was worth it though! We were about 10 people behind the front of the queue for stranger things, then a few more as some people were using their express passes the moment the houses opened. (Why??) we decided to follow the queue and pretty much walked straight in!

20180926_174930.jpg

About to head in to Stranger things... Look at that Lobster Tan!!

Front of it all!!
20180926_174217.jpg

We decided to make our route plan of the houses the night before, to ensure we didn't follow the crowd and it worked like a charm! We walked straight into 7 of the houses with 2 others only requiring about a 10-15 minute wait before even needing to use our Express pass! We only needed that for Halloween 4 as that was our last house of the night... and then we used the fast pass to go into all the houses again!! In total we did 19 houses that night!

We did it, in this order:
Stranger things
Scary Tales: Deadly Ever After
Trick R Treat
Seeds of Extinction
Dead Exposure: Patient Zero
Slaughter Cinema
The horrors of blumhouse
Carnival Graveyard Rust in pieces
Poltergeist
Halloween 4: The return of Michael Myers
Managed to repeat all of these apart from Halloween 4 which was usually rammed every time we went.
20180926_204325.jpg

We stopped for a slice pizza and a drink at Louie's and got the souvenir cup drink offer which saved us a fair amount! One cup was 27 Dollars with discount and had unlimited refills until the start of November. (We could also get free slushees in these too!)

Our watches tracked us doing 6 hours of walking! (Thank the lord for sketchers!)

I think personally Halloween 4 was the scariest of all. That Mask is just too creepy!! N couldn't decide on a favorite scare house as she jumped out of her skin in most of them!

20180926_223239.jpg

Exhausted after it all!!

We woke a little bit later today, as we only got back to our hotel at about 0100 due to Halloween Horror Nights, N woke up and immediately adjusted our fastpass for rocking roller-coaster to an hour later and we went back to bed!

Eventually we got to the Hollywood studios for about 1300 and went immediately to Rocking Roller-coaster for our fastpass. This was the first roller-coaster i had ever been on since coming to disney so i was very much looking forward to it. Great seats too, right at the back for maximum effect!
20180927_135508.jpg

Yeah... this is a ride that i never manage to pull a face one...

We got some nugs after this at Rosie's which of course, were amazing. Then headed over to toy story land for our next fastpass.

Protip: Do not each a large quantity of nugs before heading onto to toy story Midway Mania... the spinning... oh my days... the spinning...

I was super pleased that i got the best score for the hour, only to see the record get completely obliterated by the next cart, that was my 60 seconds of fame done and dusted!

We mooched around toy story land, which is very pretty but there's just not an awful lot to do, and no shade so we were getting toasty during our time there!

Headed over to star tours for our next fastpass, we'd never been sat at the back of the vehicle before. We found ourselves very surprised that you feel the motion alot more! But we managed to keep the nugs down :p

We headed over to Muppets 3D cause we both love the muppets with a passion. Bought myself a Kermit from the shop as i tried to last year but they had all sold out! So snaffled one up immediately this time!

It had been a few years since we saw the Indiana Jones stunt spectacular, we weren't a 100% sure if we had just forgotten bits from seeing it from so long ago or if they had updated it? but it was absolutely brilliant and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Went to sit in Rosies again to wait for fantasmic, obviously had to get ourselves a few frozen lemonades, i'm a sucker for the blue raspberry ones though...

After our frozen refreshment we started to walk over to Fantasmic but then the clouds started to look a little like this...

Some people already heading for the exit with ponchos on, but we decided to believe in the Disney Magic and headed on in to Fantasmic!

We got decent seats and listened to the announcer stating that the show might be delayed due to the weather (We could see thunderbolts of lighting that were very very frighting in the distance :p ), but we still sat there fingers crossed and all. We ended up sat next to a lovely drunk lady from (I assume) Arkansas as she was complaining about the college football team, I didn't have enough NCAA knowledge but I still enjoyed the chat about football all the same. She was fascinated that N was a veterinarian as well so she helped us pass the time :)

Not bad seats right? Shame the show was CANCELLED!! :arghh::cry::arghh::cry:

Yep, got cancelled due to the lightning so everyone bolted...

Look how sad we were... (I can't do a good sad face...)

Fun Fact: Thats not the moon lighting up the sky, it was lightning!!

We left the park and did the LOOOOOOOOOOng walk back to the car due to the current construction they have going on outside. We went to drown our sorrows in Millers alehouse on international drive. Good thing to as it was TNF!!

I got the fish tacos (They were amazing) N had the Jambalaya it too was amazing, and because the UK doesn't have ice cream cake (I know... it's sad) i ordered some of that whilst we were there.

Look at that beauty...
