:lol: Sorry. I should be a little more polite. I really am not poking jokes at her, just the fact that Disney is actually wasting space with some hand me downs. (If we all know the mouse well these clothes will either end up auctioned off or at Goodwill)

The Mouse won't own these. And her gowns given to Goodwill?
Despite theme being wrong for WDW, they do have some Historical value.

Actually Diana Spencer was not royalty at the time of her death. the fact that she was/is still referred to as Princess is why she was coined "the People's Princess". This exhibition is probably about 10 years too late. The only thing in the UK left is a tacky looking memorial in the basement of Harrods (less to do with her and more to do with who she died with). I can't for the life of me work out why they thought it was a good idea to stick this in Orlando unless the entire exhibition is doing a massive tour. I suppose they figure that they'll get a lot of British traffic at the beginning of July and for the rest of the summer. I for one shall not be going.

This is a good point. Diana did many good things in her life but I don't believe an exhibition of her belongings 12 years after her death is appropriate for an American theme park complex. It will be full of families with young children and crying babies that will not appreciate the historical significance of these items, if any significance does indeed exist.
I personally laugh at the people who praise the celebrities who take time out of their busy schedule to appreciate the little people. Most of these 'philanthropists' don't have to work a 40 hour a week job so what else are they going to do? I would hope they would find something charitable to do with their nearly unlimited resources since most of the middle class does on our meager resources.
Diana would have never had a world impact if not for a messy royal divorce.

In all seriousness, I'm sure this exhibit appeals to some people; however, claiming that you are dedicated to delivering unique, exciting experiences that can only be found at WDW to guests when you closed down the Adventurers Club right around the corner is terribly flawed.

This idea is right on par with the stitch stage show. Who is running the show over there? How could they let such awful ideas actually come to fruition? I have read about lots of ideas that were kicked around and never saw the light of day, because someone in disney with some common sense said, hey guys this is a bad idea. That doesn't seem to be happening anymore, they just throw the crap at us. Like a monkey at the zoo would do.

I'm a Brit and have got fond memories of Diana but this sounds tack-tack-tacky in the extreme.Still, if you close your eyes and concentrate really hard there's a certain resemblance between Mickey Mouse and Prince Charles-something about the ears.MM is a better looking dude though, of course-and doesn't whinge about architecture as much.

Maybe after Diana they can get Titanic then Elvis or King tut! This is a way for Disney to make money in an empty building.I personally would never pay money to see some dead womans dresses.The so called royal family is a joke.:king:
