snacks for kiddies, bandaids, tylenol, nail file, crocs, my own detergent (if I do laundry on a trip to save on packing so much), my trip itinerary.
I used to bring a case of water bottles and get ice to keep them cold but now I just bought 2 Brita filtered water bottles that I will take with me, cell phone/charger, camera/charger, quarters, ponchos, sunscreen, benedryl, post card stamps (my kids like to send post cards to grandparents).

I could go on as well. :)

Last trip I order 2 cases of bottled water from COSTCO online. I got them the day we arrived - total w/delivery was around $15.00.

traveling light has always been priority with me, i often wear cargo shorts in the parks and if items do not fit in those pockets comfortably, then they are not worth bringing.

typically all i have is a wallet, key and cell phone.

this november will be the first with my new son, who will be 20 months on arrival. i suppose the extra space on his stroller will suffice for some items.

4) Bring something for blisters on feet...oh..and don't wear BRAND NEW sneakers...break them in first

Honestly, if you buy the right kind of shoes for your, there isn't a "break-in" period. For example, I had a buy a new pair of shoes three days before this year's Disney Half Marathon, I wore them to run the marathon, no feet problems at all. If it's the right shoe for you, no problems.

When coming to WDW always come well prepared. Here are a few things to remember.....Any to add?

1) Enough $$ to never have to ask how much it cost

2) Buy Rain Parkers at home for $3 or else pay $8-$10 here

3) Stop at grocery and buy case (s) water for $3 or pay $3+ when here for each bottle

4) Bring something for blisters on feet...oh..and don't wear BRAND NEW sneakers...break them in first

5) I always bring couple rolls of quarters for laundry and game room (kids)

6) AND my own detergent

I could go on but how bout you?

My list is pretty much the same...we'll be adding parkas for the first time for our August trip. We also bring a mini-medicine cabinet, Tums, Advil, Claritin, etc. And as far as shoes I always bring 2 well broken in sneakers to rotate each day. My feet love this, hehe.

I always drink two bottles of water before I go to bed at night while at WDW. Yes, I am up a couple times using the restroom during the night.... but I awake nicely hydrated. It's amazing how much less you need the water during the day when you hydrate at night.

I find this advice really usefull, I hadn't really thought about that. My only problem is that I drink a glass of water and ______ a gallon. If I drink a couple of bottles before I go to bed I will probably be well hydrated and sleepless

I'll give it a try anyways, maybe not with 2 bottles, but maybe with a glass.

I'm a super light packer. All I bring is a mini hinge wallet and a Vapur anti-bottle (very awesome roll-up bottle). Sometimes my cell or walkie if I think I really need it.

If I'm packing "heavy" for an open-to-close-I-was-in-the-park-for-HOW-long?-day I might add:

- drink mix singles
- sun screen packet
- disposable poncho
- mp3 player

Even if I bring all of that it fits pretty comfortably in two pockets. Over-prep actually kills some of the fun. You spend more time getting ready than thinking about the fun you're about to have.

I have 2 Vapur bottles as well, they're so awesome! I hate carrying bottles whether they're empty or full, but these are perfect. I carry a relatively small purse/shoulder bag, and if it doesn't fit in there, it doesn't get to come to the parks with me. Basically, I have my Vapur, sunglasses, wallet, itinerary, face sunscreen/lipbalm, and some bandaids. Any extra space is for small purchases that aren't worth getting sent back to the hotel.

We also bring glow sticks. They are good to hang on the strollers and on the kids. We also bring microwave popcorn packs and washcloths with ziplock bags. (wet the wash cloths, put in the freezer and the next day put in ziplocks and use to cool you off during the day...wet as needed).

I'm exactly the same, I go in Sept so I drink alot of water, if I want a bottle of ice cold water I buy one! I spend alot to pay for my vacation so I will spend alot ON vacation! Spending $10 a day on water is fair enough.
I buy a bottle in the morning and use the water fountains to refill it throughout the day, then toss it in the recycling bin that evening. The water from the fountains takes some getting used to but it is not that bad after a while.

It's a good idea, but I like ice cold water, I may try your way and see how it goes!

Bring cereal and buy milk in the mornings for breakfast.

Holla.

Poptarts and granola bars! Most of my family members as well as myself are NOT big breakfast eaters at all.

I wouldn't wear sneakers in the summer either - very hard to dry them out after typical torrential downpours.

This! I usually bring flipflops. Sure, people say it must be hard on my feet, but if you find the right pair that you wear often, they're awesome. I can't stand for my feet to be hot. If my feet are hot, I am hot.

As others have said, I'm a light packer. I usually bring a purse that I can wear across my body that also has a zipper. I don't worry about putting it down somewhere or anything. It stays on me all day. I bring a small glasses cover to stick my glasses in, a stick of sunscreen, lipbalm, any important cards, and my cell phone. Oh, and my digital camera. I'm a picture taker. It all fits in nicely, sticking my camera on top for easy access, and most everything else around and under it.

Yes, I have one similar, It cost me £3 from Primark and have lasted me 3 years so far! Plus one of the pockets turns into a bag so you can scrunch it up inside so its just a little square when not in use!

:king: WOOO Fellow Brit :D Yeah, they are so much more practical and you don't feel silly. Plus, although it covers your whole front it still doesn't get hot
