Well he looks brown in the pic you posted. To me at least.

See I wouldn't call that brown at all, just a different shade of grey (please no tacky sex book references). Brer frogs coat is a shade of brown, as is his pants, the log is brown, Brer Rabbit is grey.

Maybe he's taupe. ;)

Also, maybe it's a male female thing? Seriously. My BF laughs at how many shades of different colours I know. That's not purple, that's plum and the other one is maroon, I'm looking for more of a burgundy or a wine."

Lol yes that chart is accurate however I put 'light' or 'dark' in front of a color if it is a particular shade.

Anyway, in that image I think his fur, the log and the Frog's clothes are all brown, the tin he is holding is grey though.

I have a plush and a bobble head of Br'er Rabbit. The Plush is gray while the bobble head is brown.

I just want to know why, on the ride, when he's chillin' in front of his house after coming home, he is leaning on, nothing... they've taken his pillow away, and now he just looks weird.

I also want to know why there is no merchandise for the ride apart from a few cheap looking frames!! I wanted a Brer Rabbit bobble head... :(

He's taupe. That is a brownish gray color that depending on lighting and shade can look more of one or more of the other. Or less of one or less of the other depending on how one looks at it. Of course, you could have a little of this and a little of that....some people go this way and some go that way.....on the other hand some go that way and others this.

In other words, "They will simply select which ever color is [cheapest]."

Not really. I had to do some of the ordering from China at a golf wholesale company I worked for during college. Cost rarely entered into the equation once you settled on a fabric type. If you got lucky, the company used Pantone colors you could get pretty close match just by looking at a number, but for the majority you were looking at fabric swatches that quite often did not match the finished project. You would select a royal blue and end up with navy or slate. We did this for a couple of orders and ditched the practice and went back to local manufacturing as the majority of what we were producing was collegiate material. Some schools did not care, but most would refuse licensing if the colors did not match.

When it comes to plushes, most companies just don't care how close to the ideal the color is.
