Are we making this in RCT3? what we can do is have people build individual rides, post them, then someone add them all together in a single map.

Harry, i completely agree with everything you said, I love it that you want to put Splash Mountain in Fantasyland.

i'm open to any attraction as long as it is based on a disney film, which is the basic fundamental theme of Fantasyland anyway.

The castle indeed should be unique and massive with at least one must-see attraction inside (i'm thinking Philharmagic)

what about segregating Fantaslyand into it's own "mini" lands?

all the eras of Disney animation should be represented including the Pixar based and Studio Ghibli based ones.

what about putting Frontierland's signature "Big River" in Fantasyland?

With Splash, I thought it would technicallty be a part of fantasyland, but outside of the main boundaries to be included but separate and also border fronteirland to provide a logical transition.

As for the structure of fantasy land, I like the idea of making it an island of sorts surrounded by a moat with castle type brick walls all around almost like some midevil towns.

I like the idea of philharmagic in the castle as long as it is integrated intelligently. I also say it stays in fantasyland and not put in toon town.

I like the miniland idea, just not too many of them, three or four tops i think.

Although moving the river to fantasyland is a nice idea and may in fact work, I think there should still be a body of water in fronteir land. I am particularly inspired by the concept art for the original fronteirland and the WRE. I also think a Big Thunder Falls raft ride would be an acceptable alternative to big thunder RR or would be great in conjunction.

What do you think. Please also feel free to disagree with me at any point so we both get what we want. I am very flexible and not easily offended.

Woaaaaaaaaaaa, I had a terrific idea!!!!!

This would incorporate my idea and that of having the river and night time show in fantasyland. The river would go around the perimiter of fantasyland and the seating area for the night time show would be behind the castle. The buildings on the back side of fantasyland could be low or nonexistant in spots to see any ships go by.

What does everyone think?

Here are most of my ideas for fantasyland. I think we should pool many ideas together and determine later which we would like to incorporate. I will not be too specific at this time.

Mr Toads Wild Ride- Kiddie EMV with facade and queue themed to toad hall with narration in queue of back story to set you up for the ride

Winnie The Pooh- More like the TDL version. Needs a specific story and not generalized idea.

Peter Pans Flight- Extended version

101 Dalmations- Much like classic dark ride in same vein as original toad

Adventures of Robin Hood- Dark Ride

Philharmagic

Castle(theme determined later)

Little Mermaid Dark ride

Hercules Raft ride

Return to Oz- Dark ride

Pinnocio- water coaster

Splash Mountain- WDW or TDL version

Journey into Imagination

Small World

Cars! Autopia

Finding Nemo- ?

Various flat rides throughout area

Cave with Pete's Dragon AA

I'm sure I can figure more later. The main challenge will be providing a varied experience and not just all dark rides. I also think other properties should be utilized throughout the land even if they do not have their own ride. Oh, two more

7 dwarves- Wild mouse mine ride themed to diamond mine

Fantasia ride

Again this is just an attraction pool to be sorted later.

you got a lot of great ideas there, i love love love the Wild Mouse Seven Dwarves mine coaster.

we have to properly segregate it first i think, here are my subland ideas:

*Fantasyland Fairy Tale Village - a FL staple
*The Meadows - A place where all the happy fairy tale animals can be in, Pooh, Splahs, Bambi.
*Beastlie Kingdomme - dragons! unicorns! merlin! oh my....
*Mermiad Lagoon - Ariel and Nemo sitting in the sea...
*Medieval Fair - Dumbo! would aslo make a nice segway to toontown

Almost seems like alot, but I'm certaily willing to work with this. I think we should separate every last idea we each have into groups and procede from there.

I would certainly like a list of your attraction ideas as well. Anything and everything as I have done, or anything you think we can do without.

Another thing I thought of was my moat idea will probally not work. The area would simply be too big to include all the show buildings inside the city walls as well as everything else, especially considering the size it is likely to be. Any insite on the layout would be nice.

I do however like how the sublands are broken down. Excellent work! Very logical in my estimation.

After seeing this itemization of sublands, maybe we should extract Cars!. It simply does not fit anywhere in fantasyland, although toon town would be a suitable option.

I think we make an excellent team here  . Keep up the good work stitch.

EDIT: Just a thought, but maybe the castle could be a suped up midevil style with something simular to the proposed dragon castle ride for beastly kingdom.

for attraction ideas, i got lots on my "if i could improve WDW" thread :D it's right here in this forum :)

i think the castle should be themed to fantasy and ahs to be inviting since it would be the symbol of the park, it should be sacred.

Wow, well all I have to say after looking at that thread is you are in charge of the concept art. those where amazing :D .

However, I would like a little more input from you when you are up to it like a pool of all your ideas because I'm sure you have others or at the very least opinions on what should and should not be included, how to pull them off ect. The more discussion the better I say :D .

How about having the Dreamport as an additional subarea for Fantasyland for JII? I'll start adding stuff up to the list, such as the Rivers of Magic and some of Crazy Harry's list, though waiting to hyperlink stuff until later. Also, I think I'll move Shadowland on the list to border Fantasyland and Frontierland so the land can have the Haunted Mansion as a transitional attraction.

I have a couple of original attraction ideas for the park, some of which taken from my other Disney park ideas :)

The Lost World, adventureland - Take a baloon ride over a mysterious island that time forgot but beware the skies are full of treachery from air pirates to the terrifying flying lizards (Pterodactyls). For they will knock you off the sky and into the dense jungles full of treacherous beasts and cannibalistic tribes!
-this is the ultimate E-ticket ride that uses both AA's, special effects and d imax screens to take guests through a harrowing aerial safari of the world that time forgot.

Festival of Fools, Fantasyland - every afternoon, Fantasyland comes alive with a million colors and faces as the Hunchback of Notre Damme's Festival of Fools rolls through town.
-Think Block Party Bash except themed to Fantasy. the climax would be Quasimodo being discovered and chased around by guards in this acrobatic parade of color and sound. By the way, Quasimodo is rescued by a famous disney princess in the end ;).

Star Wars: Battlefront, Tomorrowland - Use the Force! as you must pick a side wether to join the Empire or the Rebellion as you mount your own, yes your OWN X-Wing or Tie Fighter [and in the future, all the different fighters] and take a hand's on part on some of the most famous and notorious space battles in Star Wars history.
- The ULTIMATE Multiplayer Online Video game and it can only be truly experienced inside this Disney park. Think Star Tours on steroids zapped with Wayne Zalinski's shrinking gun. Guests will be paired in twos, one to man the shooters, another to fly the ship. The ride is comletely interactive and totally immersive and lasts as long as the battle goes on, or at least until you get shot and explode. the ride will also be connected via the internet to gaming consoles around the world so folks at home can join you in battle. All of the Fighters you encounter and shoot will be manned by real people either from the park or from elsewhere around the world.

Well I hope yous all don't mond if I Join in on this collaberation park. I would like to design Adventureland if you don't mind. If anyone else had already made claim to adventure land i hope I'm alloud to add some input also.

My ideas for atractions are as fallows:

~Pirates of the Caribbean
designed to the story of the motion picture with the same old gags of the origional atraction and a few extras.

~Swiss Family Robinson Tree House
Not much more to explain here. the design will fallows the ones preceding it. the difference is that it will be located on its own island in the Rivers of America w/ different scenery from the movie such as the fortress hill, the swimming hole, and the flags from the day of the race. the island will be very small but will still represent the island on which the family was trapped.

~Jungle Cruise
Same ride as the previouse ones except there will be an added thrill that will be expanded on later.

~Haunted Mansion
If no one else has claimed the Hounted Mansion for their land I would like to sudgest we place it in Adventureland designing the exterior of the mansion to make it represent the many Governer's Mansions located in the Carribbean and also the one in the movie POTC. The inside will be much like the origional with added storyline from The Haunted Mansion movie.

The Tiki Room
~ This version of the famous attraction will be a little different from the orrigional in that it will not be a atraction but more like a restaurant attraction where you are eating in the enchanted tiki room where 3 different shows will take place over the course of your meal.

I will be adding more later to this land along with anyone else who wants to add more to this land.
Updates soon!!!

Will my Star Tours be a completely different attraction?

Actually, I had Mansion in mind for Shadowland to act as a transition between Frontierland and Shadowland, but that doesn't mean we can use the elements of the movie in it in addition to(what I had in mind for it) Phantom Manor stuff.
I thought of something for Country Bears, making the exterior similar to Country Bear Hall in the movie, maybe even influencing the interior as well though of course sticking to some of the traditional stuff of the classic version with rerecorded voice tracks of characters(Save Henry and Buff) to have them be consistent for each seasonal show.

Can I join?

I would like to add my now currently untitled ride idea to adventureland.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, check the link in my sig.

I absolutely love all of these ideas!!! Simply spectacular :hammer:

I especially enjoy the festival of fools. That will fit in beutifully.

And for the battlefronts idea, I think this would be a bit more of a diversion than an actual attraction. Think disney quest themed to starwars. We could even have a starwars pavillion of sorts and include another star wars attraction such as star tours, and as much as i like it, I always felt it wasn't a total utilization of the property, and maybe with all of the other simulators it would be overkill, but i'm impartial in actuallity.

Besides, this is Tahu's baby, I think he get's final say. We need someone to act as supervisor or all heck could break loose. :dazzle:

I like that idea a lot, although i don't really see it fiting in fantasyland per say.

Maybe if we did a subland between fantasy and tomorrowland for transition, that is if that is even possible.

I think we need to devise a general layout rather quickly to see what we are up against and set up boundaries or this thing will likely never stop growing.

I say Tahu should devise the layout with possible room for expansion in case of really good ideas and stitch can draw the outline map with minimal detail due to the amount of uncertainty at this time and we can have more detailed art later.

I also think a lovely conclusion to this process would be a pictoral souvenier of sorts like those of the old days of WDW to truely finalize our park (that is if stitch is willing and capable, I certainly don't want to put too much weight on your shoulders, I just thought it was a nice idea atleast. After all, we all have other lives :D )
