The main reason it wont happen is too much is being built and also being revamped. People will refuse to go to WDW if they know its going to be a building site for most of it!

Gran Fiesta Tour is based on his movie. The ride has shades of Small World, definitely inspired by that for sure, which we all know Walt created. So in a way it is sort of his idea. You want to say Frozen is not his idea then yes, it isn't.
I don’t know that a ride based on a movie he was around for that shares a ride system that was decades old by then really qualifies as a Walt Disney creation.

Grand Fiesta Tour is Epcot's It's a Small World just themed to one of Walt's IP but still represents a world country culture and language. In fact imagine if they did this showcasing all the countries presented in Epcot then it be even more like Small World.

People were still paying full price to get into Hollywood Studios in 2017 when it only had 4 rides open, so I'd say that consumer standards for what they will accept is pretty low.

This has been discussed for some time, but never followed through. I was hoping that Coco ride would've come to the MK rather than Disneyland, but am very excited for the Monster's Inc door roller coaster ride. That sounds pretty amazing!

With the new Coco boat ride coming to California Adventure, do you think there is a renewed possibility for Epcot's Mexico Pavilion to eventually get a similar overlay or replacement to Gran Fiesta Tour?

It's definitely something that's been considered. Whether that's just musings, speculation or a proper look into it is anyone's guess.

Seeing as it's easier to create duplicates at the time of fabrication/development, I'd say that I wouldn't be surprised that while the stuff is developed for the Californian Adventure park that there are copies made for a Mexican Pavilion overhaul.

I’m sure it’s just a matter of time
It was proposed but scrapped.

IMHO, scavengers worrying the last bit of meat of any attraction rather than building something new is trite. You're just asking for another Tbj to be created to fit the existing system. Some really fun stuff , but glaring gaps and no real story plot to follow.

If you do something, do it wholeheartedly and stop putting lipstick and a tutu on the pig.

Have you ever been on Grand Fiesta Tour? It's nothing like IASW other than sitting in a boat. 😂
