That would definitely be interesting based on the recent concept art. Though I don't know enough about the direction they want to take with it other than reading a few comics as a kid. So I wouldn't have enough backstory to make it properly.
That is fair. Perhaps it could be an expansion pad for that?
I haven't read the comics either. Only the wiki.

In addition -- since we have 2 parks...I could see a "Hogwarts Express" style Millennium Falcon transport or some other sort of transport between our two parks (If there are two Star Wars areas)

The final point I will make is if we can't come up with anything original for the 4th location, and don't come to a consensus on Star Wars (which I'm not really attached to, just an idea) then we could always leave it blank.

There's nothing holding us from completing the entire park for an opening day scenario -- we could just have it as a "future expansion" plot.

Wakanda is good.

Some quick Adventureland brainstorming:

Disney's variation on something like Kong's Skull Island or Godzilla's Monster Island, a lost world of gigantic monsters and gigantic insects (but no dinos, since Geyser Mountain has those). Tours are in amphibious boat-cars. Add stuff like IOA's Raptor Encounter to flesh it out, or a shop/restaurant in a giant beast's skeleton.

For Arabian Coast, there's quite a history of piracy too (the original Barbary Coast in Morocco and Tunisia, which in turn influenced San Fran's BC). That would allow a unique spin on POTC ideas.

An island on the back of an enormous turtle (a famous mythical image).

Fire Mountain.

Star Wars Pro/Con List

Pros:
- Unique location: To me personally, I don't see how this disrupts the "story" of Adventureland because it's a very broad brush themed land. If fantasy IPs can be included such as Aladdin, Swiss Family, Pirates, etc - I don't see how Star Wars doesn't fit the mold of "adventure" especially a land of Endor or Dagobah that would create a flow of foliage and forestation.
- Popular IP
- Possible transport between two parks' Star Wars lands.

Cons:
- Could be a full land, perhaps in a 2nd park
- Dense Adventureland...a lot of attractions in one area of the park (E-tickets)
- Lukewarm reception of Star Wars Land in Disneyland

These are good suggestions.

One other thing I just thought of...Moana has become very popular with girls (and boys) in recent months, and the film has a lot of options for fun attractions where it doesn't have to be relegated to a show.

We could make a truly immersive, song-filled, joyous E-Ticket, and just expand Tiki Island (while cutting either Lost Coast or Arabian Coast)

My fear is we might be getting too mature for a Magic Kingdom park. Pacific Wharf is definitely a bit darker (and that's good) and we have Villains Land, I wouldn't want Adventureland to be consumed by Pirates, mythology...because that may alienate some. Plus we also don't have a true female driven mega attraction on the left side of the park, which just from a numbers standpoint, could help

I've something; well three things actually; completely the same as your idea for a Star Wars version of the Hogwarts Express. The first one was from orlando678-'s Star Wars Galaxies from Disneyland Resort Paris in Walt Disney Studios and Explorers' World, the second was from your Star Wars Resort, and the third was from Tcool123's Disneyland Greece Resort in both Spirit of Adventure and Cinema Park.

Good points on getting some balance on the left side, with something female-oriented. (In Pacific Wharf I'll be looking next into a Chinatown as a way to do something more light and whimsical to counter the Tower).

For Moana, how about using the Shanghai POTC ride system? That'd be a genuine all-access E-ticket headliner! Picture riding alongside a massive physical Kakamora ship, or a screen room featuring the fiery Te Fiti! A dark room neon scene for Tamatora! It could be tons of fun!

Yes! I could really see that working well -- basically what they should have done for Frozen instead of sticking it in Maelstrom, but that's another story.

We could have something that actually meets the demand and is a great family attraction that fits Adventureland, especially Tiki Island (which has quickly become my favorite part of the land!)

I'll have to look into these. I remember some of them vaguely but I'll have to read them again!

But also -- see don't be afraid to disagree! :D Something good will come out it regardless (most times better than the original idea!)

I do remember @JackWatkinson mentioning he wanted to use the Shanghai Pirates tech on the Pirates ride...so another idea possibly for the Moana ride is a new kind of ride system mixing the Great Movie Ride sized vehicle with a boat

What if we designed boats like at 1:08 that could fit a lot of people and just sail through the Pacific Ocean slowly through a variety of large scale Moana scenes?

The vehicles could be guided by the sails with a wire running along the ceiling throughout the scenes...while floating along in the current of the water.

I know a lot of people have final exams coming up in a few weeks, AP exams, etc -- so rather than work on elaborate content persay (ride write-ups, restaurant menus, stuff like that)...it would be great if by next Sat/Sun we had a full park line-up and generalized placement of each component of the park.

This was we can outline this park layout and give it to @Imagineerland for the map he graciously offered to do - and that'll give him plenty of time over the next weeks into May in order to do it.

Then we can all focus on the exams/work coming up knowing that the layout is good -- then all we'd need to do after finals is do the details/write-ups for each area, some of which are already complete!

What does everyone think about that?
Yes thank you! I'm going to be so busy next week:grumpy: This is a good plan!

:) I was going to use Ford's Magic Skyway but what are your ideas for a Peoplemover?
Well, the ride itself was akin to Disneyland and MK's peoplemovers in which it takes guests on an tour above Tomorrowland/Progressland, but this version also has more dark ride scenes for when it passes through buildings; like how the MK's version shows Walt's vision of E.P.C.O.T , the ride vehicles were more modern, and I was even thinking of giving the ride more stations, like at World's Fair and Discoveryland if not Tomorrowland itself; if it's big enough.

Awesome Idea Space!

Yeah... I have finals over the next two weeks :cyclops: So I won't be on as much :hilarious:

My goal for today is to come up with some restaurants/shops for Frontierland and combine what we have for Fantasyland/Villains Land.

I know @englanddg said he'd do the boat restaurant.... The rest is up in the air for Frontierland Food and Beverage and Merchandise wise. :bookworm:

Tomorrowland/Progressland will be the final ones to tackle:bookworm: But if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to chime in! Any idea is good!

That's actually what sparked it -- because it hadn't been done before in an Adventureland! Technically when Pirates was placed in WDW's Adventureland it was the first time because in DL it's in New Orleans Square, so basically it had to go under a thematic change to blend in.

The good news I see here is this doesn't need a change, this looks like a new kind of Swiss Family Robinson treehouse

I actually really like this idea! I think we can really do something cool with this - It's different enough to set us apart in concept.

So.... Here's a thought pattern for a compromise....

So with Pandora coming to Animal Kingdom.... visitors are traveling with Alpha Centauri Expeditions to the planet of Pandora, located 4.4 light years from Earth.

Maybe We could have an "Endor Island" of sorts near Adventureland... where guest could travel on a "Spaceship"(Themed Monorail of sorts) to get there? Or even a Star Wars Endor subland nearby that leads into a Star Wars Hotel? :bookworm: Just a thought...

In addition -- since we have 2 parks...I could see a "Hogwarts Express" style Millennium Falcon transport or some other sort of transport between our two parks (If there are two Star Wars areas)

Or this would work.

Another idea for the final point could be something that hasn't really been explored by the Parks very much. I think if we move the Scar attraction from villains land.... We could do a really interesting Lion King Sub-land. (Found this on Google:hilarious:)

Haha well...whatever works best for everyone. As much as I love the idea of a speeder bike ride, I can see its criticisms as well given the location/attractions around it. Do you have any suggestions for attractions or your thoughts on Moana?

Love this idea!

I think we could do something really cool with a giant Kakamora attack scene as well....... If done correctly it could be really interesting!

Ok I have missed a lot. How about Endor and Kashyyyk? They may be too similar. I love the idea of a Hogwarts Express Star Wars transportation between two lands. I don't quite see how Cairo fits with Adventureland. I will miss Lost Coast and I think that could have been good but I do think we should change Arabian Coast for one of the other ideas. The Lion King looks great! POTC will be more high tech like Shanghai. I think the right thing to do would be like Space suggested is get all the shops, restaurants and attractions etc. before we go more in depth. Good look to everyone of you here that has exams of some sort. I have no idea how schools work in America but they sound important!
