All I can say for the Enchanted Library is to change the character sets to be more random. One of the best things about Plaza Gardens character meal in Disneyland is the random characters. Honestly, I'm bored with most character dining at Disney World because there's almost no difference between what you get at Chef Mickey's and what you get at Tusker House. I say go either extremely random with the line up (say Mickey, Moana, Peter Pan, Hercules, Belle) or use characters from each Fantasyland attraction. Just my 0.02
Yeah that's a good idea to have it random - and to have it be the characters in the park - I like that!

Synopsis
My oh my what a wonderful day. Board a timber log and join Brer Rabbit and company on a musical adventure through the tales of Song of the South, before careening down a fifty foot plunge into the Briar Patch below.

Attraction Layout

Queue
On the east side of Frontierland in the Red River Bayou section of the land, you enter the queue for Splash Mountain towards the coastline by walking through a two-story red wood building. The building itself has a large Splash Mountain sign, below Mr. Blue Bird chirping above guests as they continue into the queue. There are two separate queues for this experience. A fastpass queue as well as a stand-by queue.

The stand-by queue walking in and out of various buildings within the Red River Bayou forest, entering further into the atmosphere of Song of the South. Throughout the queue, you can see various nick-nacks from several characters from the film, such as Brer Porcupine's home, Brer Frog's pond, and more. These scenes are comparable to the ones seen in various versions of Splash Mountain throughout other Disney parks such as the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland in California, but this version will differ not just in content, but in the pace of the experience.

The queue for the Sydney Disneyland Splash Mountain is much more immersive in the tales of Song of the South compared to the prior incarnations, delving into several characters that on the attractions tend to be breezed past in the narrative. With this elongated, winding queue, not only can more guests fit in the switchbacks of the queue, but they can also appreciate more animated characters other than simply the big three of Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, and Brer Bear on the attraction.

Eventually you reach the loading dock where you see the warning signs of the health restrictions of the attraction and that you 'may get wet' on this experience. Those brave enough to take the plunge will proceed to the loading station where you board a boat that seats up to 8 guests (4 rows of 2 per row)

Ride-Through
Scene 1
Once loaded onto your boats, you take off and hear the safety announcement overheard
"For your safety, remain seated keeping your hands, arms, feet, and legs inside the boat, and be sure to watch your kids! Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah ride."
"Por su seguridad, permanezca sentado manteniendo las manos brazos, pies y piernas dentro del barco, y asegúrese de ver a sus hijos!"

On your left hand side you see Brer Frog with his foot up on a rock, reclining in his rocking chair
"Looks like Brer Rabbit's headin' to his laughing place...he says he's looking for adventure...I say...he's lookin' for trouble. Brer Fox and Brer Bear are downstream of this here parts. I don't think young Brer Rabbit knows what's ahead"

The semi-ominous tone of Brer Frog's narration leads into a small drop into the dark (under the Rivers of America) and onto Chickapin Island, where the rest of the attraction takes place. The boats then begin an incline rise above to the 3rd of 4 levels of the attraction. During the incline, you can spot a hidden mickey on the right hand side of the boat, in various cartographic maps embedded into the wall. As you approach the top of the incline, an animatronic blue bird begins whistlining 'How Do You Do' - transitioning you into the next scene.

Scene 2
An Instrumental version of 'How Do You Do' plays as you wind around the mountain side. You pass a garden and birdhouse to your left, and go under a piece of the hill extruding from the main mountain side, creating some shade, and as you pass underneath the piece of the mountain, you see birds popping in and out of small holes, whistling along with the tune.

Scene 3
As you transition into this scene, you come out from under the overpass, and into a small Critter town Square on the mountain side. Here they have miniature Critter Elixir carts, vegetable food carts, as well as a cart set up by Brer Fox with the intention of tricking Brer Rabbit into telling him where the 'Laughin' Place is'

You curve around to the front side of the mountain and for a brief moment can see out towards Frontierland and a bit of the rest of Sydney Disneyland, before you reach the 'Fishin' Falls' with Brer Frog again showing up as the narrator with a casted line into the water to the side of you. "How do you do?" he asks rhetorically as he continues to whistle and then you plunge down towards the 2nd level of the island.

Scene 4
Entering the main show building of the attraction, as you pan around from your drop, you enter into a musical rendition of How Do You Do, with colorful, singing animatronics surrounding you. Inside you see Brer Rabbit introducing himself to you "Heh Heh Heh Brer Fox can't catch me, I'm going to my laughing place, come along!"

After Brer Rabbit introduces him, you are introduced to other animals that inhabit the southern bayou theme of the attraction, such as a smiling alligator looking for his next pray, just lounging belly-side up in the water next to your boat. Next to a sign that says 'No Fishin'" you see several geese with cast lines in rocking boats to your left and right hand side, as you transition towards Porky Pine playing a harmonica rendition of 'How Do You Do'

Several other animatronics are present talking about how Brer Rabbit is going to his Laughin' Place, and you can see Brer Bear caught in a tree rope trap to your right, as you glide around it, getting a good look at the rocking animatronic of Brer Bear who is just singing along without a care in the world, and Brer Fox acting all embarrassed and angry that his plan to catch Brer Rabbit is failing. After riding around and seeing gophers, chipmunks, owls, birds, Brer Rabbit's mother sweeping her front step, worried about her son, and more singing frogs, you then see Brer Fox attempting to lay a new trap 'to the laughin' place' and Brer Rabbit pops out above you as you plunge down to the bottom level of the attraction and into the Laughin' Place.

Scene 5
At this point the scenery changes from the bright and colorful singing, to a more cave environment, with low ceilings and sprouting fountains. Brer Rabbit is now singing "everybody's got a laughin' place" and others are signing along with him. Fountains shoot water across and over the guests and geysers shoot up around the ride vehicles, creating a nice relaxing mist of cool water riding through the attraction. Several of the fountains light up in colors that change periodically throughout your ride through the laughin' place. Eventually you hear Brer Fox yell out in excitement that he trapped Brer Rabbit in honey and he calls for Brer Bear that it looks like he's gonna have to 'roast ya' Brer Rabbit looks on frightened.

Scene 6
You pass under two ominous birds who cackle at you that 'we'll show you a laughin' place' and ominously saying 'time to be turning around...if only you could'

As your boat makes the long trek from the bottom level to the 4th level of the attraction complex, you hear bats and see them popping out of the cave walls to your left as you make the trek up the interior. Brer Rabbit is tied to a post to the right of your boat incline with Brer Bear, and Brer Fox is situated on the left hand side of the boat, bantering to Brer Bear that he placed Brer Rabbit on the wrong side, now he has to go back and get him.

In an act of frustration, Brer Fox says, you know what I think I'm just gonna throw you in that Briar Patch. Brer Rabbit responds "Do whatever you have to do Brer Fox, but please don't throw me in the Briar Patch"

Then your boats reach the top of the mountain side, you can see Fantasia Castle in the distance as well as Century 22 and Space Mountain for brief second before you take the 50 foot plunge at a 45 degree angle, your picture is taken, and you splash down in the Briar Patch below, before curling around and recovering.

Scene 7
Roaming around the ground level of Chickapin Island, you get a nice vista over towards Big Thunder Mountain, and an angle of Splash Mountain that hasn't been seen before on the attraction (but be careful of getting splashed from the Big Splashdown) You can hear an instrumental version of Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah playing in the background as you re-enter the mountain on a small incline before leveling out on the 2nd level.

Scene 8
You enter into a celebration of Brer Rabbit's return home. He is sitting out in front of his porch with his mom and Mr. Blue Bird, a large docked boat vessel rocks back and forth in excitement of his return. Brer Fox ends up getting caught in the Briar Patch and the alligator you saw relaxing in scene 4 now has Brer Fox by the tail, as Brer Bear looks on confused. Towards the end of the scene, Brer Frog welcomes you back and says "looks like home sweet home is the lesson today, and remember, everything is satisfactual" right before you see Brer Rabbit's younger brother looking to you in order to go on an adventure (forshadowing a cycle of adventures) and you drop down in the dark below the Rivers of America before reappearing at the unload dock towards the exit and 'Splashin' Place' gift shop.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Synopsis
Howdy partners. This here's the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness - board a runaway mine train as it roars through the gold rush canyons of Big Thunder, an adventure that includes sharp turns, sudden drops, and stops.

Backstory
(ties to Timber Peak Saloon)
The year is 1882, in the mountains of the California Territory. Barnabas T. Bullion, a greedy and stubborn businessman, continues to mine in the Big Thunder Mountain Region despite several cave-ins due to what locals call a "supernatural" presence in the mountains. The tiny town of Tumbleweed neighbors the mountain range, where Bullion has taken residence for the past several years, as he feels it is his birth-right and entitlement to find the gold out west. Growing up with an East Coast fortune, Bullion made the journey west to find gold and increase his fortune.

Along for his endeavors has been his daughter, Abigail Bullion. A young, restless, and rebellious woman, Abigail has gone on several adventures in the Big Thunder Mountain landscape, sometimes teaming up with cautionary miner, Jason Chandler. Chandler, while having respect for Barnabas (nickname Barney), has always warned the greedy businessman of the supernatural forces that haunt Big Thunder, making it dangerous for the miners, and recommending to Bullion that he move to a different mountain range. Stubborn and persistent, Barney consistently denied Chandler's recommendations, while simultaneously having to deal with his rambunctious daughter, who would, with the help of Chandler, attempt to steal her father's gold, and give it to the poor citizens of Tumbleweed.

After decades of searching for gold, and the appearances of a runaway mine train roaring through the desert landscape, Barney Bullion had developed high stress and needed a change of scenery. While a ruthless businessman, he did have a soft spot for his daughter, Abigail, and always wanted the best for her, especially after her mother passed away. Being the only parental figure in her life, and wanting her away from the harsh environments of Big Thunder, Barney asked his daughter if she would like to take a trip north with him to build a new vacation estate.

Being close to Jason Chandler, Abigail asked Chandler if he could come along on the journey so she didn't have to constantly talk with her father, and Chandler, aspiring to expand and develop his secret society, the Society of Explorers and Adventurers, decided to take the trek north through the untamed wilderness. Chandler also took this journey to avoid having to interfere with the spirits of Big Thunder, something he had always professed while on the mining job.

The trio of explorers set off from the northern California border on horseback with a goal of reaching the Grand Tetons, as a new estate location. However, early on in the trip, Barney's motivation for the trip swayed back to his greedy personality, and rather than looking out for his daughter, spent most of the days making Chandler search for new areas to mine for gold. This frustrated Chandler and alienated Abigail, who wish she never made the journey with her father.

Reaching the basins of present-day Nevada, they arrived at a small frontier town in the snowy winter, where the native town folk greeted the travelers with hospitality. One of the townsmen was Reginald Rosenfield, who greeted the trio and invited them to his local meeting place in the town. Walking inside the expansive space, Chandler was impressed by how it brought everyone together, and recommended to Bullion that he would help him build and construct his estate, as long as there is a local meeting place for S.E.A. Even Bullion was impressed by the design of the town meeting place, and made a deal with Chandler that they would build a local meeting place for the Society of Explorers and Adventurers in the same vein as the local meeting place. They thanked Rosenfield for the hospitality, however when they went to stay the night, Bullion realized that Abigail had run away.

Suddenly overcome with remorse and grief, Bullion set off with Chandler on horseback through the Nevada canyons and mountain ranges, searching for Abigail. Bullion remembered that Abigail's favorite spots were high above the ground below, and gazing at the vista below. So Bullion climbed to the tallest mountain in the region in search for his daughter. Eventually, on top of the mountain, Abigail was sitting with an easel and paint, turned it around, and showed her father a portrait of him coming to find her. Bullion realized he had been distance with his daughter, and asked for forgiveness and was remorseful. He promised that while he may go back down to Big Thunder, he will always find the time to spend with Abigail. She forgave him and they continued on their journey north.

Reaching into the mountains of Wyoming, the trio came across a towering lodge next to a spring with a geyser, neighboring a large lake. Approaching the large atrium, they were greeted by the founder of the property, an elderly Colonel Ezekiel Moreland. Sitting in a rocking chair by a large fireplace in the main concourse, Colonel Moreland greeted the travelers and introduced them to his daughter Genevieve and her companion, an Austrian artist, Frederich Alonzo Gustaf. They toured Silver Creek Springs and fell in love with the land just as Ezekiel Moreland did in the early 1800s. Growing older and passing of his land to his daughter, Bullion, being the businessman that he is, however with a newfound softer side, asked Ezekiel if he could help maintain and expand his land with new additions and a local gathering place on property. Ezekiel was happy to make the agreement with Bullion and soon work began on an expansion of the property.

After a few years of work, the Cooper Creek Cabins were built for members of S.E.A. as well as the local meeting place for the organization. The local meeting place was given the name Timber Peak. It featured a fine assortment of beverages and food for the S.E.A. members, as well as a second level for a game room, and a private S.E.A. lounge, along with a balcony wrapping around its exterior for the inhabitants to admire the breathtaking views of the surrounding area. To elicit the new amicable relationship with Bullion and his daughter, the first decoration he added to his local meeting place, was the painting Abigail drew of him trying to find her in the Utah mountains. This painting meant something special to him, as it was the moment he realized that while you can't take the persistence of adventure and exploration out of him, he should reconcile and nurture the relationship with his only daughter.

Queue
BuionPortrait_zpsvqnj5xyo.png
Approaching the queue from the southern side of the Thunder Mesa mountain range, you enter by walking around the outdoor trails at the foothills of Big Thunder, surrounded by greenery and nature, looking up at the magnificent mountain range. You then trek into Barnabas T Bullion's office space as well as employee station, which has all the mining equipment for his staff, as well as various easter eggs throughout, not only to connect to Timber Peak and Victoria Creek, but to himself as well. Letters from Jason Chandler line the walls, telling Bullion to shut down the mining operation due to the spooky encounters. Another is from Issac, telling Bullion that he has heard of the unfortunate circumstances of his mine (as if he had nothing to do with it). Another is a newspaper article about the opening of Timber Peak Saloon down the way.

All in all there are a ton of small little details in this queue in order to satisfy hardcore S.E.A. fans yet not overwhelm the casual fan and deter them from being able to understand the premise of the attraction.

Ride-Through
Segment 1
The attraction is divided up into three segments each based on the three lift hills throughout the attraction experience. Before approaching the first lift hill, we enter a bat cave and hear the hundreds of bats flying around the train as it departs the loading station. The engine toots its whistle and you hear the loud clang of the lift hill chain picking up the engine. The train then begins a slow incline through the canyons of the mountain interior. Below you can catch a glimpse of a scene from the Western River Expedition for a quick second, and hear the rumblings of the mine as it seems like an earthquake is about to happen, probably due to the 'curse' on the mountain. An easter egg to a miner can be seen right before you drop down and into the first segment of the attraction, winding outdoors and fast speeds around sharp curves and a few dips. The fresh air blows in your face as you drop and turn through the segment, catching the various greenery as you go.

Segment 2
The train then catches onto the next lift-hill and begins the slow climb up the largest hill on the mountainside. You raise up approximately 55 feet in the air before curving back down towards the ground as the train whistles again. The runaway mine train continues to roar through the canyon side before doing a 720 degree turn around one of the canyon pillars, and diving down into the 3rd lift hill.

Segment 3
Traveling up the last incline you see tons of gold surrounding the train, but rocks and gravel are about to fall on top of it as the paramount moment of the earthquake nears. The track begins to rumble as you barely make it out of the tunnel before a rock falls on your train and you pop outside once more for the final leg of the journey, barely avoiding a forest of trees as you travel back out towards the loading station once more to depart.

Space Mountain

Synopsis
Travel to the orbit of Xanadu with the Association for Intergalactic Reconnaissance and trek towards the Lavender Moon to face the perilous unknown of interstellar space.

Backstory
Upon successful missions to Mars, the construction of space colonies, and the global advancement in aeronautic technology, the United Nations agreed to privatize space exploration. While government funded space research facilities could still operate, space enthusiasts and explorers would have the opportunity to travel into space on their own.

The decision ignited a prodigious campaign to explore outer space. The moon base became open to the public, visits aboard the International Space Station were abound, and a trip to Mars became a popular "study abroad" program in colleges for engineering majors. This contemporary society bread imagination and answered questions that the human race had for thousands of years...our place in the universe.

Amid the vast interest in space exploration was a group of entrepreneurs that had dreamed of the opportunity to push the boundaries of human potential. To travel where only the imagination could envision. From a young age, Emmanuel Wu was surrounded by the theme of exploration. His great-grandfather, Alexander Wu, was part of the astronaut team that first landed on and colonized Mars way back in 2067. Considering the significance of his family name ("Wu" in Chinese means shaman), his great-grandfather would communicate with Emmanuel via intergalactic transmission logs, and inspire him to never give up on his dreams.

Those stories and intergalactic transmissions from Mars have been replayed over and over by Emmanuel throughout his childhood and early adolescence as inspiration when he could one day follow in his family heritage. Emmanuel also spent his childhood reading a book given to him by his great-grandfather called the Society of Explorers and Adventurers, which enticed and motivated Emmanuel to want to seek the beyond.

His success as a researcher and engineer gave him the prowess to design his own private spaceship, called Discovery and form a group that today is known as A.I.R - the Association for Intergalactic Reconnaissance - with the goal of pushing the limits of space travel.

Queue
As you enter Space Mountain, you travel through the laboratories and research hallways of A.I.R. as you pass by data analysis and more information about the places you are traveling to and that A.I.R. has researched, such as planet X171 or what the team at A.I.R calls, Xanadu.
KXCbKIY.png

On a television screen, you can watch and listen to the Xanadu Transmission logs from A.I.R. scientists as they report back to Tomorrowland with their findings.

As you go further into the queue, you notice that the mission log for today is to travel to the Lavender Moon, the largest moon of Xanadu. Passing through the rest of the laboratory, you see a transmission from the Aries rocket orbiting the planet. Emmanuel Wu comes online and greets the guests.

Dr. : "Welcome A.I.R. enthusiasts. It's so exciting that you made the expedition to visit our colony and we are so glad to share this discovery with you. Today's mission is to discovery this rock - called Secretous787 - which by our tests and analysis, is unique to the Lavender Moon. We haven't found this rock formation on any other planet or moon we have visited in the past, and we'd like to do some tests on it and maybe it could be valuable for the people of Earth and Tomorrowland, as some of our other discoveries have been.

You'll be traveling in this custom designed Space Pod - specialized to break Xanadu's atmosphere and pilot around the moon. You'll need to be split up into teams for this quest and for that I will turn you over to Dr. Wright who will describe what your tasks are"

Dr. Wright: "When you enter your pods, you will notice specialized dashboards in from of each of your seats. You will have to work as a team in order to complete this mission. One of you will pilot the pod throughout, another engage liftoff, another will ensure the shield is deployed, and lastly one of you will deploy the landing gear. Your pods are uniquely designed by Dr. Wu himself to ensure safe travels for you space enthusiasts. Happy exploring and thanks for joining us for this mission!"

You depart the land and enter the liftoff zone beyond it. There you board your vehicles and prepare for your mission.

Attraction Layout

Ride-Through

Dr. Wu: "Engage liftoff procedure Discovery 1."

Your vehicles swiftly ascend into the liftoff position at a 90 degree angle relative to the ground. You feel the force gravity pressing you back into your seat as you hear the countdown to ignition in the background. Your vehicles move up the chain and into the sky with projection screens 180 degrees surrounding you as the vehicle make its ascent. The ascent feels faster than it really is given that the screens around you are projecting visual stimuli such as the ground becoming smaller and the clouds becoming thinner.

You hear on your on-board audio from the control center monitoring your progress

Dr. Wright: "O2 stat 97%, cabin pressure 1 atm, Nitrogen levels steady, prepare for hydrocarbonite engine boost and breaking of the atmosphere..."

Zoom...

You feel a thrust as your vehicle leaps over the incline and levels out in Xanadu orbit.

Dr. Wu: "Nice work in there. You can see us in orbit to your left...you're going to want to pilot the vehicle towards the planet, but be warned, the atmospheric pull of Xanadu might make the trip a bit bumpy"

You pilot the vehicle towards the Lavender moon as the projection screens around you create the sense of space travel and your vehicle stimulates turbulence by swaying and bumping along towards the planet.

Dr. Wright: "Excellent, now initiate the landing gea-....wait a minute....what's that coming towards you?

Ahead you see a bright light and a spaceship coming from the moon directly towards you and it fires a laser beam at you. Your vehicle sways to narrowly miss it...but the ship keeps coming closer and firing at your pod.

Dr. Wu: Abort mission! There's life on this moon...and they clearly don't want us here!

Bang...

Your space pod is hit and your vehicles spin 360 degrees around and dip towards the moon's surface...

Dr. Wu: You've been hit, quick, initiate the shields...forget the rocks you just need to get out of there!

Dr. Wright: They may not have enough fuel to last that long!!

You swerve in and out of the canyons of the moon as you are chased down by the extra-terrestrials who inhabit the moon...large, steep curves left and right give you the sensation of flying through the moon in a desperate attempt to escape.

Dr. Wu: You're going to need to need to activate the turbine engines!

Dr. Wright: But that's never been tested!

Dr. Wu: Well it will be now, those people are in danger...

You continue to fly across the alien landscape in a visceral display of projections and physical sets and on-board audio which put you right in the center of an other-worldly adventure as you fly around this moon to escape with your life.

Dr. Wright: Activating the turbine engines....now!

Dr. Wu: Hang on everyone!
24596956631_56774d27ea_b.jpg
Your vehicle thrusts forward and spirals up and away from the surface of the moon, evading capture from the inhabitants. The stars surround you as your vehicle soars through the atmosphere and makes a direct path back to Xanadu. In a last ditch effort, your landing procedure is initiated and you tip down at a 90 degree angle back to the landing platform and laboratory....

Dr. Wright: They made it...

Dr. Wu: Goodness...well that was certainly a quest for the ages...glad you all made it back in one piece. There was definitely something on the Lavender Moon....but maybe it's best to keep those things a mystery. Hopefully now you can see how unpredictable an adventure can be....thanks for flying with us...and enjoy the rest of your time on Xanadu.

Guests exit the launch platform and head back through a wormhole to Tomorrowland.

Queue
Guests would start through the nursery, with similar effects to the WDW queue. Guests would end up traveling into the dreams of the darling children about Neverland itself. Guests would walk through hangman's tree, the forest, the mermaid area, and maybe the pirate cove before going to the boarding area.

Ride Through
Like most interpretations of the ride, guests would begin soaring through the nursery. They will see the children beginning to fly with pixie dust effects. They will also see Peter's shadow on the wall signalling them to follow, and he will utter his famous line, "come on everybody, here we go". As guests fly out of the nursery, grounded Nana will begin to float with pixie dust, but she will be tied to her doghouse like a balloon. Guests will soar over London. They will transition to a scene of a slightly closer perspective of Big Ben, and they will see Peter and the gang land on the clock. Guests will head to the second star to the right, and it will explode with magic as they approach it. The classic "flight over Neverland" scene will commence, but after that, the ride vehicle will land on Neverland. Guests will go through the forest, past hangman's tree, and they'll see John leading the lost boys with the song "Following the leader". Then they will see the boys caught by the natives. Next, guests will go to mermaid lagoon where they will spy on hook taking tiger lily away. This is when they will first see the comedic crocodile Pursuing hook. Guests will go to skull rock and will encounter Hook and Pan duelling for the life of Tiger Lily. Then, guests will travel to the camp of the natives, where a celebration is taking place. The next scene will be a screen based one where Hook will kidnap the kids. However, Pan will come to their rescue, and he'll lead you to the Jolly Roger, where he will duel with Hook once again. On the other side of the mast, Peter will be at the helm, as the ship turns gold with pixie dust. In the last scene, guests will be back in the nursery with the darling children and their parents, looking at the flying ship in the sky through the window.

Doubled as a Monorail Station on the 2nd floor, the 1st floor crosses under the 2nd floor monorail station, acting as a transportation hub of the 'future' It is fitting that the Autopia entrance is also in this area - crossing over 3 separate modes of transportation, all in the same area.

Eventually, before returning to Fantasia Gardens Station - you go through the Rite of Spring tunnel, which is a diorama show based on the classic scene from Fantasia.

(Possibly) Museum of the Weird/Haunted Mansion*
georgebluebeard-png.195939

Backstory
In 1475, George Bluebeard began construction on a sprawling mansion for his 7th wife, Lucretia. Featuring a plethora of eclectic rooms and a unique design, Bluebeard spent the next several years trying to build the perfect mansion for his perfect wife. Unfortunately for Bluebeard however, his situation took a turn for the worst.

George had seven winsome wives, some of them were fat, some thin, but the seventh one did him in. George Bluebeard died in the mansion he built, and rumor has it at the hand of the woman he married he built it for. Lucretia took control of the mansion, but ever since she claimed her inheritance, she began experiencing ghostly appearances throughout the house and grounds.

The organ in the ballroom began to play on its own, doors would swing open, voices would cry out to her, and the clock never told the right time. She decided to bring in a seance in order to discover any ghosts in the mansion, and to possibly rid her of her daftly spirits. However, that just made matters worse.

The seance, named Leota, called on the spirits, wherever they're at, and George Bluebeard's mansion soon became a portal to 999 happy haunts from all around the world, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight. The spirit of George Bluebeard rose from the dead to haunt Lucretia, and drive her out of the mansion he built. Some say they can still hear her screams from the room in which she saw him. For the next few years, the mansion was known for its spiritual dwellings. Those who sought to dare venture inside were met with the ghouls within, touring the mansion at their own behalf and risk.

Queue
Approaching the queue for the Haunted Mansion brings guests around a bend and away from the Mansion itself. You enter into a myriad of plants and shrubbery, much of which has been decayed over the years. As you arrive at the front gates, you can hear the howling of a dog in the distance, foreboding a haunted journey ahead.

The overgrown plants encompass the dimly lit walkway that meanders around a bend and sends you into a maze of triangularly shaped trees, along with an eclectic variety of poisonous plants. If you look closely at one of the triangular trees, you'll see that it is a passageway to the "ground" and realize that the trees are actually tombstones designed as plants. With one of them open, as guests walk past, during some points a puppet figure will pop out of the ground and frighten guests with his ghostly smile.

Continuing on into the gardens, guests can now see that the entire garden is an overgrown and overcapacity graveyard, with tombstones on top of one another, all with unique sayings on them.

Here lies sweet little Sally, she wanted to fly, but fell into an alley.

The remains of our loving brother Dave, he had a pet lion that didn't behave.

And several other descriptions of the deceased members of the haunted graveyard. Surrounding the tombstones are also descriptions of the plants themselves.

Deadly Ivy, do not touch if you want to remain lively.

The dog howls once more in the distance as you can see the side entrance of the Mansion approaching even closer. Mist begins to permeate through the area, clouding your vision in the process. (In summer days, this mist could be a nice cool down after being outdoors in the queue for a long time) And it's cool blast symbolizes the presence of ghosts on the grounds.

Towards the end of the outdoor section of the queue is the tombstone of Lucreita -- with the Bluebeard family crest on the top of it, and a passage that reads. While the 7th wife did him in, she eventually met her timely Fin

The second half of the queue begins with a sign that says - to the Bluebeard Mansion. However the sign itself points you into a large hedge maze that you have to navigate around. 8 foot tall blackish/green bushes surround you and envelop you, taking away your sense of boundaries to the area. You hope you're walking in the right direction. To add to this psychological paranoia, the queue actually takes you to a dead end at one point (which is the holding pattern similar to the doors opening in the WDW version of the Haunted Mansion.

Rather than doors opening - the "ghosts" open the hedge maze using a mirror projection seen in Enchanted Tales with Belle in Fantasyland -- and guests walk up to the front porch of the Mansion and into the open doors ahead, venturing into the medieval mansion.

A cast member gives you a grim greeting and points you into the library with no doors and a window above. Books stacked up around 15 feet in the air, marble fireplace burning, paintings all along the high walls, with eyes that watch you as you circle around the library for the pre-show

A deep and powerful voice comes over the loudspeaker:

"Welcome foolish mortals, to the Haunted Mansion - I am your host, your ghost host *evil laugh* Our tour begins here in this library, which is filled with the greatest ghost stories the literary world has ever known. But one story has yet to be revealed, and that story is yours *evil laugh* You might be contemplating why you're here."

As the ghost host says that, books begin to come out of the shelves, as if ghosts are picking them out. Lightning flashes and the paintings on the walls change to evil grins and faces as the thunder roars. The window above you begins to shake as rain begins to pour onto it from above.

"Oh, are you feeling a sense of discomfort? A chilling choice of fate? You're wondering how to escape from this deprecated mansion, I can tell you one way out hahaha...but we wouldn't want to noose this tour prematurely. Your tour's just getting started. Your sense of reality will be challenged, and your beliefs might just change...shall we begin? "

Thunder and lightning flash and a cool breeze is pumped into the library. Everyone can feel a chill running down their spine, as the lights completely go dark...and a rush gives you the sense that something is behind you.

Then suddenly, the lights come on to reveal a haunting cast member in front of you as one of the library shelves has moved to its side and you enter into a long hallway to approach your ride vehicle.

The Ghost host narration comes back on.

"This is just a taste of the entrees of haunts we have planned for you. Kindly watch your step and let's all stay together. We wouldn't want anyone to be left behind muahaha."

As you approach the boarding area of your doom buggies...the voice comes on again.

"Now, a carriage approaches, to take you into the boundless realm of the supernatural."

Ride-Through
As your doom buggy pulls away from the loading station, the booming ghost host returns
"Do not pull down on the safety bar please, I will lower it for you. And heed this warning, the spirits will materialize only if you remain quietly seated at all times. Oh...and no flash pictures please, we spirits are frightfully sensitive to bright lights."

The errie Haunted Mansion theme is played over an organ (dissimilar from past editions of the attraction) and the dog howl can be heard from the outside. The out of tune and ghostly organ sounds continue as you ride into the extravagant foyer. In the foyer is a wide canvas of several prominent medieval soldiers lined up for battle. As you ride underneath the painting, it comes to life with ghosts on each side firing at one another. The organ music picks up once more and you look around to see the entire foyer covered in cobwebs and knickknacks.

The dog howls once more and lightning/thunder can be heard outside, as the rain pours down. The Ghost host comes back on

"Our foyer is the prominent entrance of this ghostly retreat. Systemically invested with collections from the ages, it is a marvel of historical value here at the welcoming Haunted Mansion"

Wind howls outside as you look out the large window to the right side of the doom buggy, the effect of rain sweeping the side of the window is prominent, with lightning flashes as you ride past, and the trees blowing in the wind.

"Our Mansion is home to 999 happy haunts, but there's room for 1,000 -- any volunteers? hahaha"

The doom buggies then begin an ascent up the marble staircase and to the 2nd floor of the mansion. The staircase spirals around and so does your vehicle, giving a different perspective on the foyer and the rooms to come. As you ascend up the stairway, other doors to nowhere appear as secret passageways. The organ music changes to a more errie piano edition of the music being played.

"The Mansion is home to all sorts of surprises and suspense, you'll never know what you'll see...and you might never know where you're going" The ghost host chuckles as you take a secret passageway, gazing down an endless hallway.

Down the hallway you see a 3 pronged candle floating in the distance, with doors on both sides of the hallway knocking, opening and closing, as ghosts try to push themselves out of the rooms. A ticking clock stuck on 13 continues to spin as you sail past it in your doom buggies.

"The happy haunts have materialized for a swinging wake, and they'll be expecting me. I'll see you all a little later" exclaims the ghost host -- as the doom buggies sail out onto a balcony over a grand ballroom.

The ballroom has dozens of ghosts and details lined up in it. Starting from right to left as you sail past it, the first thing you see on the far right side is a massive fireplace with a "ghost fire" going and a ghost tending to the logs, putting more on the fire. Next to him, you see a variety of ghosts dancing with each other on the dance floor to the organ music which plays the original tune at a more quick pace, tending to the more joyful side of the tune. With the dancing ghosts spinning around, you then see two ghosts sitting in large windbreaker chairs having a brandy and a conversation with one another. Continuing, you see two knights having a sword duel with one another, practicing their marksmanship (a bit close to the dancers I might add)

In the middle of the ballroom is a massive dining table with tons of food scattered all around. Plates for appetizers, dinner, and dessert are available at every seat, and once seat is arranged as a hidden mickey of the plate set. As you continue to move left through the ballroom you gaze up at the paintings on the wall and two ghosts swinging from the chandelier above. A few violinists are seen next to a large organ playing the ghostly tune.

The doom buggies then circle around the ballroom (something that hasn't been done before in the HM) where you see the backside of the organ, and ghostly puffs of air coming out of the pipes. This acts as a transition into the next scene which is the upstairs "game room"

Inside there is a billiards table as well as darts, along with a seating area, and a variety of memorabilia. The pool cue and balls move by themselves across the table and darts throw themselves. This area is new to the Haunted Mansion and would show an area of an old home that we haven't seen before. It is also the introduction of sorts to the main plot running through the mansion that George Bluebeard resides in the mansion after his 7th wife did him in. It can be inferred that the "swinging wake" is for his 7th wife entering into the mansion and George is upstairs playing games with his friends, possibly avoiding the party altogether.

As you enter into the next room, you hear a beating heart and enter George Bluebeard's bedroom. A creepy version of here comes the bride is played as George Bluebeard's bedroom shows him with boxes and merchandise all over his bedroom as he hasn't had the chance to unpack or anything. Surrounding the bedroom are items that can be inferred to belong to Lucretia, his 7th wife.

In the next room you can hear a woman speaking, and as you enter a large seance room, a floating magical ball head, named Leota, is trying to summon spirits from the other side.

Creepies and crawlies, toads from a pond, let there be music from regions beyond.

She continues on as you see ghosts appearing from the other side through the floorboard, some popping up right in front of your vehicles. The last ghost (inferred to be Lucretia) turns your doom buggies backwards and sends you through a secret passageway all the way down to the basement.

Your doom buggies "fall" down the secret passageway's stairs and tumble into the basement, which is the dirtiest and worst room of all. You soon realize that it is a morgue and is the start of the graveyard that is planted out back. Some of the tombs are open and you ride through the open crack in the door outside into the graveyard, where the ghosts seem more alive...maybe because you have passed?

The creepy music becomes more gleeful and the ghosts begin singing around you.

When the crypt doors creak
And the tombstones quake
Spooks come out for a singing wake
Happy haunts materialize
And begin to vocalize
Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize

Now don't close your eyes
And don't try to hide
Or a silly spook may sit by your side
Shrouded in a daft disguise
They pretend to terrorize
Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize

As the moon climbs high o'er dead oak tree
Spooks arrive for the midnight spree
Creepy creeps with eerie eyes
Start to shriek and harmonize
Grim grinning ghosts come out socialize

When you hear the knell of a requiem bell
Weird glows gleam where spirits dwell
Restles bones etherealize
Rise as spooks of every size

Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize
Grim grinning ghosts come out
Grim grinning ghosts come out

All around the graveyard, a variety of ghosts in all different shapes and styles sing in harmony. Some of them are in dancing around in the background. Dead oak trees are swaying in the distance, tombstones move around, and marble busts themed to prominent imagineers on the attraction. The attraction concludes with hitchhiking ghosts and the classic "ghost will follow you home" segment.

As you leave, little Leota tells you to "hurry back - be sure to bring your death certificate"

Disneyland Railroad
trains-png.206636
The Sydney Disneyland Railroad will be inspired by the music of Fantasia, and all of the train cars themselves will be themed and colored to musical notes and symphonies, making the entire experience something never before seen in a Disney park. There will be three distinct station stops along the 22 minute journey around Sydney Disneyland

Frontierland Station
1918517924014534487%253Faccount_id%253D9
Deep within the American Wilderness sits Frontierland Station. At the foothills of Big Thunder Mountain, you can board or detrain to explore not only Frontierland, but this is also the stop for Pacific Wharf and Adventureland.

Fantasyland Station
592779721232071629%253Faccount_id%253D9
Continuing on the journey you enter the mine where a million diamonds shine - and the sing-along as you enter the station tells you that you have entered Fantasyland. This station is unique as it is completely indoors and guests walk through a 'mine' in order to get to the center of Fantasyland. A truly never before seen station in a Disney Park.

Tomorrowland Station
26092011112_c84fd3e472_k.jpg
The 3rd and final station stop on the journey is Tomorrowland Station - which is another unique design.

What about Fantasia Gardens Station? What does it look like?

What about Fantasia Gardens Station? What does it look like?
The...what?
hqdefault.jpg

Erm, uh, umm...:p

I didn't include it because I don't have an illustration for it yet:bookworm: However a description of it is in the opening synopsis of Fantasia Gardens.

Overview
Approaching the gates from either the transportation drop off to the right, or Sydney Springs to the left, you will see an old 1900s Australian authentic train station similar to one seen in Saving. Mr Banks, at the front of the park. The old wooden structure blends in with the facades of Sydney Springs, almost as if you're unsure there is a theme park behind the train station.

The railroad steam engine blows and rings its bells as it approaches the lofted station on the second level. Below the train station are two 'curtains' with a floral Mickey designed in the grassy area between them. As guests go through bag/ticket check, they can choose between one or two curtain entrances to walk through to the park, as they are the cinematic stars of this show.

Upon entering under the train station, guests are immersed in the worlds of Walt Disney's Fantasia. To the left is a large concert hall dining experience inspired by the music from the films. Music plays a vital role in this park and at one of the main shops. Toccata and Fugue at the front entrance, guests can purchase a magical (i.e. RFID) Sorcerer’s hat, one which brings the land’s interactive elements to life - similar to the Harry Potter wands at WWoHP.

A variation on the Partners statue stands at the entrance to the 'Main Street': Mickey in his sorcerer getup, and Walt atop a platform with baton ready to conduct an orchestra. As you look at the statue, and then look back at the railroad station, you'll see that the 1900s Sydney aesthetic is no longer there...and a floral design similar to the ones throughout Fantasia Gardens is present.

From that point on you can travel to the various areas to explore throughout the land. From quaint walk-through areas inspired by the Snow White Wishing Well in Disneyland, to interactive shop experiences, and so much more as you walk through the world of Fantasia.

Also I'd just like to quickly call attention to this -- I guess primarily for @D Hindley and @FigmentPigments but everyone else as well.

First I hope Figment you're doing well (haven't seen ya on here in a few days and I know you're taking it easy coming back so hope all is well) Anyway though - I remember Figment wanted to do the Museum of the Weird attraction for Pacific Wharf, however just time and stuff, it has sat vacant for a while.

As you can probably tell I'm trying to get most if not all of the attraction descriptions/art done before the summer comps and vacations begin, because as has been seen over the last month-6 weeks when we get busy, we won't have time for this:bookworm:

So for Museum of the Weird, in order to have 'something' there -- I think we have a few options
1 - would be to revert back to the Lombard Street Mouse Coaster. It's already written up, and simply slides into place in that location no problem
2 - Figment has time to write MotW
3 - Someone else would like to write MotW
4 - Some of the early reviews we got questioned why we didn't have The Haunted Mansion, or a Haunted Mansion like attraction. I have a pre-draft written of The Haunted Mansion with George Bluebeard, who is a character currently in Pacific Wharf. That could be a viable replacement, only thing would be the show building would need to extend beyond the berm (similar to the size of Jolly Holiday on the map) because the ride would be too big for the location currently on the map.

Just wanted to toss those options out there!:)

Boulevard de Cruella
Queue
The queue can be situated near the Bavarian village portion at the base of Bald Mountain. This can bring us to the back alleys of the English village and alleyways that comprise our line. Throughout the queue we we see illuminated eyes of the Dalmatians in the darkness. We also hear the voices of Horace and Jasper. We finally come to a load in, which is in a dank garage.

Ride Through
We begin the ride in our moving van, we have two rows with three seats apiece. We are seated in the freight portion of the moving van. In the front seat is an animatronic driver we can barely see, behind us we have dressers, which as the van twists and turns, reveals Pongo and Perdy's pups! The windows of the van and large and make for easy viewing to the outside (think the windows in Skull Island trams). We begin our journey heading out of the garage and down through the back alleys of the English town. Eventually we curve out into the streets. Sight lines are such that we can't see Bald Mountain or anything outside the town as most of the buildings and hills are too high for us to see over. After heading through a show scene where we see Horace and Jasper starting up their car, we head down the rural highway, adding speed as we go. The interesting thing about the track is that there are two sides your van can go on. They're structurally similar (think Mr. Toad) with some minor differences. As we head out an animatronic Cruella bursts out from the bushes in her roadster, the ride speeds up as Cruella pursues us. The trackless nature of the ride keeps us guessing from where we're heading as Cruella moves from one side to the other. Eventually she goes off the side of the road and we think we're in the clear. Our van slows down and we head around a bend. As we turn through it the classic, disheveled Cruella bursts out and a high speed chase ensues. The speed won't be as fast as Test Track but the scenery will make it seem so. The climax is Cruella's roadster driving off a ravine. In our final scene we pass by Cruella and the remains of her car.

Ride Queue: Heroes' Hall

It has been years since the great split fractured Fantasyland. The Villains, led by Chernabog, have annexed the forest, the surrounding buildings, and Bald Mountain beyond. There was a time when villains and heroes were able to share the same area, albeit with some tension, but that is no longer the case. Since the divide, buildings which formally belonged to the “heroes” have either been repurposed for more nefarious deeds, or have been allowed to fall into disrepair. One such building is the formally grandiose Heroes Hall (there would be significantly more foliage, for the “forest”, surrounding the building than is shown below).

upload_2017-3-19_0-15-47-png.194698
Located at the foot of Bald Mountain, it is rumored that the Heroes who used to live here managed to suppress a great evil which dwells within the mount. However, the time of the heroes has passed, and their once magnificent gathering place, while still impressive from afar, shows signs of decay as guests approach for a better look. An old, worn invitation welcomes visitors with the following inscription:

“Eat, drink, and be Merry
Come visit our Heroes’ Hall
Enjoy the splendor, see how grand”

And scrawled beneath, guests see an ominous addition:

“Beware if you tarry
Even the mightiest fall
A different being now runs the land”
Guests who are brave enough to press on cross a bridge, while a river speeds below. Those with an observant eye will notice that the water feeds from the mountain. Once the bridge has been crossed, our adventures have officially passed the threshold: they are now within the courtyard of Heroes’ Hall. The stone courtyard struggles to hide its age and lack of upkeep. Grass and weeds grow through solid rock, as stone crumbles and gives way beneath the slow, unstoppable march of time. The dark forest aims to reclaim its land, and it’s impossible not to think that, within a few years, it will do so. Adding to the eerie setting, afternoon visitors feel the shadow of Bald Mountain cast over the courtyard as the sun wanes.

Whilst walking along the designated pathway through the courtyard, guests can see that Heroes Hall was abandoned in a hurry, and the departed were unable to gather all their training supplies. Targets for archery practice remain, some with arrows still piercing the hay. Looking in the distance, guests may notice that the arrow in the center of one target is fashioned from a twig.
A number of swords and shields litter the ground; one sword, slightly different from the others, resembles that of Mulan.

Near the center of the courtyard, 12 knight statues appear to be standing guard around a mountain.

upload_2017-3-19_0-17-14-png.194700

The top of this mountain almost resembles a head, with horns forming its twin peaks. The mountain side could even be described as a pair of tightly curled wings.

upload_2017-3-19_0-17-34-png.194702

Of course, all guests know these thoughts to be ridiculous. Mountains don’t have heads, let alone horns, and they certainly don’t have wings. The visitors proceed towards the large double doors near the end of the courtyard. An enchanted knight’s statue stands watch over the entrance of the castle, ushering guests inside the building. Once enough guests have entered the building, the knight stops any more from entering as the double doors close behind the guests within.

The cavernous hall can only be described as absolutely impressive. Vaulted ceilings ensure even the largest of heroes could fit within the building. Portraits of great heroes and heroines adorn the walls, although they have lost their luster to the cobwebs and dust which have overtaken them. A balcony along the second floor overlooks the guests within the main hall, and everyone’s eyes are drawn to the stained glass artwork at the end of the hall. The glass once again depicts knights standing guard around a mountain. However, the sun appears to set, as the light filtering through the stained glass wanes, and the room is left in darkness.

upload_2017-3-19_0-20-6-png.194705

After a few seconds, a torch lights from the second floor balcony comes ablaze and an animatronic calls out to the crowd “Hey! What are you all doing here standing in the dark? Somebody get those torches lit!” A few torches are lit around the crowd. The animatronic follows up “You guys decided to visit Heroes’ Hall at night? You’re either crazy or fearless. Or both. My name is Elio. Elio Cyrus. I guess you’re all here to see what’s left of the Heroes’ Hall. Truth be told, there’s not much remaining to see. It’s been left to go to ruin, as even the villains who live in this part of the land are afraid to move in. I’m the only left, as I swore an oath to stay here and guard the mountain. Well, I also have some enchanted statues to help and keep me company, but they’re no fun to talk to. Actually, I’ve got an idea! While you’re here, let me give you a tour of the hall, like in the old days! We’ll start from the bottom and head up. Just follow that door into the basement, and I’ll meet up with you in a second!”

A large wooden door slowly swings open, and guests head down a gradient, into the basement. They walls are lit by torches, casting their glow along the corridor. On the other side of the walls, guests can hear running water. Barrels occasionally line the path, marked as containing grain, wine, ale, fish, and other necessities for a true Heroes’ Hall (one hidden container is marked Cpt JS Rum). Water drips through the ceiling and the the walls, falling on the occasional barrel.

upload_2017-3-19_0-18-37-png.194704

Eventually, the corridor ends and guests enter another showroom. Elio Cyrus pops up again, this time from a room on the other side of a wall. “Welcome to the cellar!” he exclaims. “As you might guess, it takes a lot to feed an entire hall of heroes. What you might not know is” Elio is stopped mid-sentence as a deep rumbling shakes the room, the torches, and the guest’s nerves. “Oh no… tonight must be a night with no moon. That’s bad news. We need to get you out of here, NOW. You might have heard the running water surrounding the basement. There are two rivers surrounding the building. One leading back into town, and another which goes deep into the mountain. Continue down and take a right. There you’ll be able to board a boat on the river which takes you back into town. You’ll be safe there. I’m going back upstairs to guard the hall. Safe travels, friends.” This is the last guests will hear from Elio.

Guests walk down and attempt to take a right, but their path is blocked by collapsed rock. Instead, a dark shadowy feature beckons the adventurers, so they venture left, leaving the cellar and entering a cavern, surrounded by dark rock, stalactites, stalagmites, and running water. Soon thereafter, they happen upon a dock. Chernabog's ghoulish minions help load the guests aboard soul barges, assuring them they will soon reach their destination.

Bald Mountain Ride
16 of our doomed visitors load into a soul barge, a wooden ship meant to ferry it’s passengers to their final destination. The outside appears to be worn wood, notched, scratched, and aged; possibly made from the same oak as the barrels in the cellar of the Heroes’ Hall. These transports float in the eerie, almost glass-like water by the dock (loading area), which is made all the more unnerving by the sound of running water – and the occasional blood curdling scream – heard in the distance. The entirety of the lighting in this room is provided by the lanterns hanging upon the wall, and those on the back of each barge, emanating their dim, green, ethereal glow. The ghastly minions which helped guide the guests to their final seats now advise them of the following (after an appropriately frightening safety warning): “You’ll come to find the Cherning waters are the most tempting of all”.

With their restraints firmly in place, and their courage hanging by a thread, the anxious travelers grip their loved ones and the ride’s restraints with white knuckles, as they are set adrift. There is no turning back now, as the barge has already begun its steady march into the dark, cavernous abyss. The ferry is soon far too distant to benefit from the dim glow of the lanterns by the docks; guests are now solely reliant on what little light they can glean from the lantern along the back of their barge. Once their eyes have adjusted, they notice that their body of water is quickly narrowing, and the stalactites hanging from the ceiling appear to be closing in on the boat. That’s when the previously distant but growing sound of rushing water turns into the roar of a waterfall, as guests plummet into the depths below. Following rapid twists and turns through the cave, the now racing barge quickly begins to decelerate as it approaches a pristine, underground lake. This space has incredibly high ceilings, and must have a hole that leads to the surface, as moonlight is filtering in.
underground-lake-1.jpg

(Picture this, but more rock, higher ceilings, and fewer roots - Photo Cred: http://gameswalls.com/omega-stone/underground-lake/1024x768)
The light in the room allows guests to make out the barrels floating near them in this otherwise untouched natural wonder. Anxious visitors jump at the sound of a splash within the lake, but are reassured upon noticing it is nothing but a fish. As guests take in the incredible sight, hidden speakers within the barge quietly begin to hint at sounds of shifting rock; almost similar to the sounds one might imagine a statue coming to life would make. Unperturbed, guests on the barge begin to appreciate the beauty of their current surroundings, as they slowly drift underneath the skylight through which the moon is gracing their secret location. However, the second guests pass underneath the hole, the speakers begin to rumble! Our travelers snap out of their sense wonderment, and jerk their heads skyward, where something near the top of the mountain resembling a giant wing blocks out the very light from the moon. The light was only gone for but a few seconds; that being said, passengers feel their sense of foreboding instantly return.

The barges glide along to the end of the underground lake, and towards another dark (but short) river. This river leads the boats to one of six show rooms, which are actually water locks. From the six show rooms, using forced perspective, guests are given a different view of what appears to be a giant (but is actually medium sized) Chernobog animatronic calling them upwards with his mountainous claws. The locks – one showroom at a time – slowly carry the barge up, as the menacing villain tempts our riders to heed his call. Projected spirits race along the walls, hoping to be the first to fulfill their master’s beckoning. Green lights also emanate from the water which continuously lifts the barge towards its destination. Only two showrooms are able to see the Chernabog animatronic at a time, and he is only visible as they near the top of their lock.

(Spirit racing towards Chernabog's call - https://www.pinterest.com/pin/441493569693558270)
Once the lock has fully filled, guests hear Elio Cyrus running towards Chernabog, and screaming that they must make their way to safety before it is too late. At this point, the barges have been locked into the roller coaster’s track. Without notice, Chernabog’s soon to be victims see Elio flash into view with a quick burst of bright light! The arm Chernabog was using to summon our visitors quickly falls to his side, and the barge begins its race down the inside of the mountain. Dodging spirits and stalactites requires full attention as our barges wind, race, and corkscrew their way through the inside of the mountain at breakneck speed.

The barge slows down, and begins to transport our guests towards an exit from the mountain. They can even see the river which leads to the bridge at the entrance of Heroes’ Hall, and they assume the ride must be coming to an end. This makes the next moment all the more surprising: right before reaching the mountains exterior, the track ends, and the barges (along with the section of track they are on) begin lifting towards the top of the mountain – similar to Cobra’s Curse. At this point, guests looking up see a giant Chernabog animatronic conducting an orchestra of souls, as ghastly spirits race to his call. As guests near the top, our fiendish villain summons them with both arms, demanding that his prize does not escape him once more; it’s at that very moment when guests see Elio Cyrus walk out to their left and, with all the power he can muster, shout out: “CHERNABOG, I DEMAND YOU RELEASE THEM!” A blinding light emanates from our protagonist, and his distraction has served its purpose as Chernabog has returned to stone, and our elevator has connected to its track.

The guests are free from Chernabog’s ghoulish grasp, but their adventure only continues as their barge falls backwards through the track, racing inside and outside of Bald Mountain (all on the backside of the mountain, so as to not ruin the surprise) until they slow down and reach a dock along the river near the backside of the mountain. As our survivors disembark, they notice old signs alerting them that the townspeople planned to clear the caved in path; with their newly gained wisdom, our visitors can’t help but think it’s probably best that path remains blocked, and keeps the evil trapped within.

Villains Academy

Low key, track based dark ride
No height requirements
Each vehicle will be geared to hold 4 adults or potentially up to 6 people if small children are boarding.

Background
The World of Disney has been filled with countless villains over the years. Many have had their successes, but in the end they’ve ultimately failed. What happens to these ne ’r do wells though after their failed plans? Most are never heard from again with our last images of them doing hard labor or being banished into other realms, or teeny tiny living spaces.

After 25 years of piracy, poisoning and pilfering, enough was enough.
Established in the spring of 1962, the Disney Villains Academy officially opened its doors.
Mission Statement: To try and find happily ever after for everyone. Yes, we know, we have our work cut out for us.

Meet & Greet
Adjacent to the ride entry will be M&G with a small rotating cast of Disney Villains

Queue
The exterior of the attraction will be an older ivy covered building and similar styling to the Haunted Mansion nearby. Guests will enter through large covered archways that serve as both the front entrance of the academy and the starting point of the queue.

Along the way you’ll see some of the success stories (before and after picture of Prince John sucking his thumb and then a more regal Prince John). You’ll also pass through the Relic Room. Many of the villains tools of evil are stored here as a reminder of where they came from. Among the items displayed are Cruella’s smashed up roadster and the spinning wheel from Cinderella.

As you enter the latter portion of the queue you are greeted by a life size Dean Hardscrabble, the current head of the academy.

“Welcome to the Disney Villains Academy. I would thank you for coming, but I don’t have time for such nonsense. I’m here to ensure that these students are properly rehabilitated so that they can try and do some good in the world to rectify all of the problems they’ve caused. “

“We’ve had some successes over the years, and many of our graduates have gone on to do great things. We have a few though that have proven more difficult than others and after many…….many years, we still have work to do. “

“You are going to meet some of these students today, but beware, everything is not as it seems. While they appear to be on the right track, they are just as evil as ever and will stop at nothing to leave these gates. Be on guard at all times.”

“We’ve had to go above and beyond in our training for some of our students, so you may encounter a few parts of the academy that require a spell or two. Fear not, we’ve not lost one guest yet”

After the parting words from the Dean, guests will make their way to the loading area.

Ride
Synopsis: Visitors will be taking a tour of the academy, seeing many Disney Villains up close and personal. As a background story of the ride, Cruella/Horace/Jasper from 101 Dalmations are met early on and tag on with the tour to attempt an escape from the Academy.

Fantasia Gardens

Pacific Wharf is an idealized version of San Francisco circa roughly 1905, at the height of the city’s opulence just before the Great Earthquake. Here guests find fantastic glittering wealth, but also great lawlessness. The Barbary Coast region along the docks is a known den of sailors, brigands, and thieves, the terminus of the Wild West where cowboys meet the Orient. Overview and Backstory

In Victoria, Australia in the late 1840s, miners like William Issac struck gold amid the hills and mountains until the next decade when hear-tell of folks in California soon made settlers in Australia, travel east to the US in search of even more gold. William Issac and his mining company moved to the American West to find competition among the settlers, however while the gold had run out by the time Issac reached the West, he found great trading opportunities of fur and wool in the rivers of what he dubbed "Victoria Creek" Falls.

Over the years though, Issac grew a deep animosity to one Barnabas T. Bullion, a member of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers, and the Big Thunder Mining Co across the West. Issac even had a witch doctor place a voodoo curse on Big Thunder, and ever since that instance, the miners have been afraid to enter. There have also been stories told of a runaway mine train roaring through the Big Thunder Mountain in a territory known as "Rainbow Ridge"

Rainbow Ridge is colorful and active frontier town home to cowboys, bandits, and singing critters which adds life to the region. Rainbow Ridge is where Barnabas T. Bullion settled, and its evident from the people in the town that work for the Big Thunder Mining Co, that they don't like him tarnishing the beautiful colored canyons of what the settlers dub, Nature's Wonderland. In the age of steam engines and the expansion of the transcontinental railroad, steam engines can roar into Rainbow Ridge Station, and travel through the Western Mountains to see the canyons from the rails as well.

However, as the gold ran out, some adventures made the trek to the 'country' side of the Frontier, and crossed the Mississippi to the Southern Bayou life of the old south -- Red River Bayou. Similar to Rainbow Ridge, Red River Bayou is lively and eclectic. It is home to Chickapin Hill and all the favorite characters from Song on the South on Splash Mountain, and it also has the quaint New Orleans corner, featuring Princess and the Frog - Escape from the Other Side, as well as Tiana's Place for a dining option.

Overall -- Frontierland is a wide ranging land that offers so much to do for the whole family.

Overview
While Adventureland will span hundreds of thousands of years in 'content' - from the 1400s Caribbean, to demi-gods that have lived through 3000 years of history in the Polynesia Islands, the common threads throughout Adventureland will be that spirit of discovery as well as...music.

Music will play a vital role in keeping everything connected. Each attraction will have a classic soundtrack or score, that are unique on their own, but combined together in one land, creates a music sensation unlike any other land. From Pirates to Moana, to the Enchanted Tiki Room, to Lilo & Stitch, each will have a vital soundtrack telling the story of adventure.

From mischief and not giving a hoot in Pirates, to finding out 'how far you'll go' in Moana, to finding a 'tropical paradise' in the Tiki Room, to discovering a 'Hawaiian Roller Coaster' ride to ohana with Lilo and Stitch. Each adventure in Adventureland offers a journey that stands on its own, but is connected by the thread of music that guides you through the attractions, restaurants, and shops. The music is the linchpin that ties the land together.

Storybookland
14-jpg.198760

Overview

This land is a celebration of the classic Disney storytelling techniques of atmosphere, characters, and music -- taking guests and transporting them to the magical worlds of the films and stories that we all admire.

Entering through the marvelously crafted Fantasia castle, guests can board a boat ride with the one that started it all, Mickey Mouse, as he is Sorcerer Mickey on the Sorcerer's Apprentice (Fantasia Dark Ride), or you can travel west to the Crystal Palace Character Buffet Dining experience, which captures the heart and magic of all Disney Stories come to life and interacting with you.

Interaction with the characters and being an active part of the story will be apparent throughout the land -- as the land is based on the Storybookland Canal boats in Disney -- just on a much larger scale. While that attraction traveled through miniatures of the areas from classic Disney stories....here you will sail through, walk through, and ride the Casey Jr. rails through the stories in full scale, creating an incredibly vibrant environment for all to enjoy.

Throughout the whole land as can be seen on the map, are a plethora of trees, foliage, and water elements to compliment the attractions, and immerse them in their own worlds (something Fantasyland typically isn't known for) . Enveloping the stories in a forest setting for the most part, such as A Tangled Tale, Beauty and the Beast, and the Cinderella Chateau, creates unique environments, and also allows them to transition well between each other, despite the different architectural inspirations for each individual attraction.

Traveling back further we have our transition from the tropics of Adventureland into the world of Neverland, and eventually into old London, which houses attractions such as Peter Pan's Flight, Mr. Toad's Wild ride, and Mary Poppins Jolly Holiday. With the Sotrybook Canals traveling around the whole land, in this area, the river is the Thames river, and looking up from the London waterfront at the various London cottage facades is one of the pinnacle points of the land as a whole.

Overview

The story of this land in the park begins with Fantasia. As the world of Fantasia opened throughout the Magic Kingdom, one section of Fantasia decided it would migrate to the far reaches of the park - the Night on Bald Mountain. While still seen at the proper angle from Fantasia Gardens....looking straight down the northeast wing of the hub, you look down at the dark and ominous Bald Mountain, standing over an expansive forest in front of it, with a town at its mountain base called Mussorgsky.

As Disney characters and stories began to populate the region of Storybookland, their villains were beginning to cause problems for the heroes, and were outcast from Storybookland proper (with their only appearances being when they would sneak in to cause trouble for the heroes - which is basically the plots of the various attractions like Peter Pan and such) However, most have been outcast to what is known as The Arcane Forest, with a barrier between them and Storybookland.

Deciding to settle down in the Arcane Forest, the Villains decided that with their combined efforts, they could eventually overthrow Storybookland, instead of taking the heroes on one at a time. Some agreed to this, others decided to go off on their own and plot their schemes such as Cruella De Vil and Ursula...two villains with a singular goal and enough motivation that they didn't need the help of other villains for their tasks. Gaston also decided that he needed his own space, and close to Belle as well, so he set up Gaston's Tavern right on the border wall of Storybookland where he would intimidate anyone who came through with how many push ups he could do.

However, as they set up shop, and the Villains decided to begin settling down, they realized that this land was already inhabited and controlled by the mighty Chernabog. Several villains were cowards in his presence and they realized that maybe they aren't as scary as they thought they were. People like Hades, Yzma, Kronk, and others sought help from some of the 'scarier' Disney Villains like Maleficent, Scar, The Evil Queen, and so on to help them become 'scarier'. Thus at the mercy of Chernabog, the Villains set up "Villains Academy" in the lush Arcane Forest, which the goal of overthrowing Storybookland.

Their plots haven't succeeded yet, but they allow guests into their territory to try and gain new followers and grow their 'villainous' team in the process. But be careful on your travels, especially back to Bald Mountain as that is where fear will find you.

Fantasia Gardens
fantasiafinal1-jpg.202614

So the point of the last few days of postings, seemingly sporadically and all over the place, was to ultimately be able to get to this moment where I could officially update the park overview list.

Now that everything is written out within the last five pages, for the final 'thread' when that's ready I can simply drag and drop the content from the last 5 pages and the already completed content in the cumulative thread, into the appropriate slots within this list. Once that happens, I'll add in any custom art that we have, as well as then look ahead to see what is left (at this point, it isn't a lot) :)

Queue
Upon entering the attraction, the queue you wait in to board the ride vehicles is painted in bright orange, yellows, and reds. The paintings are representative of the sequence in the film "Almost There" where Tiana dreams of her own restaurant, Tiana's Place. The queue itself is a straight pathway until a switchback section before the loading area. Along the straight pathway, guests will be able to play interactive games on monitors on the painted walls that blend in with the surroundings on both sides of the line. The monitors allow the guests to play and sing-along with Tiana in her dream. The first station is a motion-based sweeping game, where the first person to clean the floor of dust out of the group at the monitor, wins the game.
Tiana-Almost-There-tiana-34924583-1920-1072.jpg

The second station is a frosting game, where you have to aim the frosting and land them on the cakes like she does in her dream.
Tiana-Almost-There-tiana-34924393-1920-1072.jpg

In the final interactive station, guests pop bottles of champagne and pour the beverage into glasses below, and the player who fills the most glasses wins. All of these games are played with Tiana singing "Almost There" in the background, mixed with an instrumental version of the same song.

When you approach the switch-back portion of the queue, near where guests board the ride vehicles, guests are introduced in the corner to a newspaper stand that says Prince Naveen has arrived. Turning towards the ride vehicles, guests see Dr. Facilier greeting the Prince and inviting him into his voodoo shop. On the voodoo shop street, guests board the trolley and begin the adventure.

Ride Vehicle Description:
As much as transportation is a means to get from point A to point B, the modes of transportation often become part of the fabric of the community. Such is the case with the New Orleans streetcar that was first introduced to the area through various forms in the 1830's.

Built by Perley A Thomas Car Works, Inc. in the 1920's and as seen in the film, the ride vehicle will display the classic green color and wood accents. Featuring the same body and roof style, the vehicle will remain open air to allow for full sightlines during the journey. Using the basic rail system used in other C-ticket rides in the park, the 4-seat streetcar will take guests on a comfortable ride through the attraction.

Ride-Through Animation

Ride-Through Description (Scene by Scene)

-Before loading Sequence-
As guests near the end of the queue and approach the loading area, they will leave the house and see Dr. Facilier talking to Naveen. Dr. Facilier says, “It’s the green you need? I've got exactly what you want to be, come down and visit my shop, I can show you what happens on the other side." After this, guests proceed to the loading area and get ready to board the ride.

Voodoo Shop Scene

full

Transitioning from the loading area, guests will get a chill down their spine as they turn the corner and the lights darken entering the attraction. Here they are welcomed by Dr. Facilier to go through a large Mardi Gras mask and into their future. Whispers of the music, "Friends on the Other Side" can be heard in the background. While going further into the mouth of the mask, Dr. Facilier’s shadow can be seen changing into a snake, and then back into its original state. After fully turning the corner, guests can look to see Naveen transforming into a frog, with the blood locket filling up red as they pass by. While leaving , "You got what you wanted, but you lost what you had.” plays ominously all around them with shadows lurking to the left and right.

Forest Transition Scene
full

Guest are entered into the next scene in a bedroom, Left and right are old books and Lottie's dresses and bedroom from the ball. Guest see Tiana lean in for a kiss with Naveen as a frog, and right before guest eyes Tiana and Naveen are now both frogs!Once this happens, guest hear noises of wind and can look all around to see the shadows lurking amongst Tiana and Naveen. Once this happens Tiana shouts,"C'mon! This way through the bayou!". Once this happens, much like in the attraction "Snow Whites Scary Adventures", the vehicle swerves around many different trees or vines, until finally they entire the next scene: the bayou.

When We're Human Scene
full

full

Going further into the bayou in this scene, guests are surprised by Louis the gator. Popping up in front of them, he greets them, "Come on and travel down with us. We're becoming human!” The ride then turns the corner to see Louis on water, while Tiana and Naveen are floating with him, and music in the background plays "When We're Human". Glow lights flicker as there is a spotlight shown on Tiana and Naveen, taking their place as being determined to become human again. After this, guests can see Louis, Tiana, and Naveen float down the bayou as the vehicles turn a corner to enter the upcoming scene.

Mama Odie Tree Scene
As guest enter the next scene, guest turn a corner and see the shadows, although haven't been seen in some time, are still following Tiana and Naveen. Once the shadows are close, guest turn another corner as they see Mama Odie destroying the shadows. Making another turn, guest can see Mama Odies lit up boathouse in the background, as the scene lights up and guest can hear soft music in the next turn. Once in the upcoming turn, guest are inside Mama Odies boathouse as she sings "Dig a Little Deeper". While this happens, pink spoonbills are surrounding the area, dancing and singing along. Bright, beautiful multi-colored bottle lights come in as a disco ball. At the end of the scene, Mama Odie knows that Tiana and Naveen are informed what they have to do to become human. Mama Odie tells Ray, "They know what they need on the inside-lead them back to New Orleans!". As this happens, the lights darken as guests head into the next scene.

Going Down the Bayou Scene
upload_2017-5-22_7-53-31-png.206343

The “Going Down the Bayou” segment of our ride is represented by a big bend in the river, where bald cypress trees stand in relief against a darkened sky and Spanish moss hangs next to the trolley. Using fiber optic technology, thousands of fireflies glow against the sky, while LED technology allows us to depict larger “lightning bugs” closer to the vehicle, including the Cajun character of Ray. We round a curve and spot Tiana and Naveen sitting on a log as they join in singing as the fireflies escort them back to New Orleans.

Paddleboat Scene
full

Guest are brought into a romantic, beautiful scene with Tiana and Naveen. The scene shows the paddle boat, and in the background can be seen that it is night, and the table Naveen set up for their dinner can be shown in the back. As Naveen and Tiana lean in for a kiss, guest see them back away from each other instead, with Naveen saying, "Tiana, I will do anything to help you get your restaurant." As guest leave the scene, a shadow can now be shown being as Tiana and Naveen, getting ready to take control. While this is(almost) happening, guest enter the next scene.

-Transition Scene-
While guest are going from one scene to the next, the atmosphere is dark and gloomy. Though it only last for a few short seconds, guest can hear in the background Ray shouting, "Cher! They got Naveen!"

Cemetery Scene
upload_2017-5-22_7-54-42-png.206344

We approach the cemetery scene, where the famed St. Louis Cathedral forms a backdrop as ominous crypts stand in relief at the foreground. Adding to the sense of foreboding, fog rises from behind the mausoleums and dark shadows dart through the cemetery. After fully turning into the scene, we see Tiana confronting Dr. Facilier. Tiana is presented in 3-D, standing in front of a large video screen depicting Facilier. As she brandishes the blood locket, a giant Mardi Gras mask appears on the screen and sucks the silhouette of Facilier into its mouth.

Mardi Gras Scene
upload_2017-5-22_7-55-58-png.206345

Back in New Orleans and following Tiana’s defeat of the evil Dr. Facilier, we see a swirl of colorful confetti as Louis leads a celebratory Mardi Gras parade. Our favorite alligator plays traditional jazz on his trumpet. We see Mama Odie performing Tiana and Naveen’s marriage ceremony. Once the Frog Prince kisses his new Princess the spell is finally broken. Using a Pepper’s Ghost effect, riders see their transformation from frogs to human.

Tiana's Place Scene
As our New Orleans-style trolley wraps up its “Escape From the Other Side” journey, guests see Tiana’s Palace standing in relief against a nighttime sky. Twinkling lights outline the building, and the windows glow. We realize that Tiana has achieved the fulfillment of a dream that began with her father of finally having a restaurant. In the sky beyond two stars shine brightly overhead. One of them is Evangeline and the other is Ray. Surrounding the stars, once again using fiber optic technology, light from a thousand fireflies forms a heart shape around the two stars. As we make the final turn and prepare to unload, we see full-sized images of Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen dancing.

Similar to Casey Jr. Splash n Soak station in New Fantasyland (but with Peter Pan) transitioning from Adventureland to Fantasyland and Peter Pan's Flight, and a small place for kids to cool off in the hot summer sun.

Lilo and Stitch Treehouse
Akin to other walk-through treehouse attractions in Disney Parks around the world, the Lilo and Stitch Treehouse is unique in its Hawaiian theme and Polynesian design. Unlike other trees that are either jungle themed (Swiss Family/Tarzan) or cartoon (Chip and Dale), this will have a distinct island flare to it, as well as hidden gems from the Lilo and Stitch film that eagle eyed explorers will be able to find on this Hawaiian roller coaster ride.

Firebird Spring Grotto

Ave Maria Grotto
avemariagrotto-png.205122
These two contrasting grottos flanking the Fantasia Castle are intended to be atmospheric walk-through attractions through the beautiful and tranquil scenery of Fantasia. These immersive walk-throughs are similar to the Snow White Wishing Well paths at Disneyland, where you can wonder and sit in small tucked away little corners of the park and enjoy the views of the surrounding areas.

Horse and Buggy Vehicles
Traveling up and down the main path of Fantasia Gardens will be a horse and buggy. White horses carrying beautifully crafted carriages walk up and down the center street, adding to the ambiance and creating a mode of transportation from the Fantasia Gardens Station to the hub of the park and back.

Regarding Museum of the Weird and other lingering Pacific Wharf questions.

I recognize we're lacking a Haunted Mansion style attraction, a problem I inadvertently created by added a Tower of Terror to a castle park. (The Tower and the Mansion are arguably too tonally and thematically similar to share a land.). Between MOTW and the still-unnamed Chinatown attraction I'd envisioned, I think there's a way we can do lighter stuff in the Haunted Mansion vein, closer in tone to Mystic Manor, in a way that compliments the Tower.

Speaking for the Chinatown ride, one of my babies: The story concerns a Chinese curator of antiquities secretly shipping his culture's treasures to a hidden Chinatown gallery where William Barbary (our TOT villain) cannot get at them. Then one of the ancient jade Chinese treasure boxes opens, releasing piles of playful mythical Chinese monsters. Guests need to track down and capture these beasts.

The ride would be an omnimover interactive shooter (shooting tranq darts to subdue the critters), like the Shanghai Buzz Lightyear mixed with the dark ride quality of Tokyo's Ride 'n' Go Seek. Last I knew, there was no Buzz-style shooter ride in Tomorrowand or elsewhere, and this would be a good family ride in what is otherwise one of our darkest lands. In tone, I see it as Mystic Manor with bits of Ghostbusters and Gremlins.

Of course, if MOTW is a traditional Mansion omnimover, the Chinatown ride is redundant. Doing MOTW as a walkthrough on the smaller Lombard Street footprint keeps the land varied. I think the walkthrough format could even allow for something tonally closer to the Mansion without feeling redundant next to the Tower (especially if it skews closer to some of the earliest Mansion ideas Imagineering conceived of before it became an omnimover), and Chinatown's playfulness hopefully balances out the land's overall mood.

This all depends on how @FigmentPigments feels about all this. I'm in no position right now to do a MOTW walkthrough write up, but I want to encourage her with whatever she has in mind for this land. If she's not interested in MOTW any longer, we can reinstate the Lombard coaster as a fallback option. Though I kind of like Pacific Wharf as a melting pot of ideas which all share Mansion DNA.

As for menus...I haven't the energy for that presently, what with Tournament of Champions concluding within the next few days. @spacemt354, somewhere in our archives should be early PW restaurant write ups I did which include some food ideas. Those can help as a start, and later on with those in place I could help (especially in filling out other San Francisco regional dishes we want to include).

Some good thoughts - for me personally with the summer comps coming up, which I know Figment is going to want to do, and I know Figment has to take it slow coming back, I think the safest bet would be to simply have the Lombard Street mouse coaster in place of Museum of the Weird temporarily.

Since that's a relatively low budget, small placement attraction - I think in the future, if Figment wants to design the Museum attraction, we can go from there. I like the idea of having it a Mystic Manor type attraction, however like you were mentioning if you also include the Chinatown attraction with a similar ride system, it may seem a bit redundant in the same land. Yet, as a walkthrough, it might work well.

As for the menus -- I've dug up some of your old quotes:

I've been planning a Club 32 for Pacific Wharf, themed instead to the Presidio and with interiors appropriately inspired by San Francisco's Walt Disney Family Museum.

Only table service - Club 32

Quick service - Mandarin Kitchen (fuse the two Chinatown eateries into one, somehow maintain dim sum as quick service)

Additional quick service - Sydney Duck's Saloon (it's too thematically tied-in to lose...actual food is done "food stand style" like DL's Golden Horseshoe, with the show/attraction component justifying the additional space used)

Food stand - Sarah's Sourdough Shack

Food stand - Bayside Bites & Confectionary

Least essential food stand (we can cut it if needed) - Trolley Tacos

Really for the menus just as long as we have a general idea of what is going in the restaurants, that's fine. Doesn't need to be an elaborate thing, but before we 'break' again so to speak for my own sake I'd be comfortable knowing even if there aren't specific menus, that we know the gist of each. :bookworm:

There's a couple missing on the entertainment list. I posted an electrical parade a while back and there are mini projection shows on the castle that stemmed from the idea of the Musical Glow shows during the music event. I don't remember when I posted the electrical parade. The mini shows were posted at the beginning of the month though.

@spacemt354, regarding PW menus, I've dug up a very old post of mine which goes into greater depth regarding things like unique San Francisco foods.

PACIFIC WHARF RESTAURANTS

Club 32 - Table service, with no membership dues! A classy French and Californian menu developed by the French Laundry's Thomas Keller. Building facade and interiors are inspired by the Walt Disney Family Museum in the Presidio.

Sydney Duck's Saloon - A saloon in the Barbary Coast Dance Hall style, with regular live performances like Disneyland's Golden Horseshoe. The name is from an actual Australian gang from SF circa 1870, who more or less created this type of honkytonk. Counter service SF dishes like the Forty-Niner Special, Joe's Special, and Hangtown Fry. And virgin Irish Coffee (was invented in SF actually). A warning: This is from SF's old red light district, yet it's the same inspiration Tony Baxter used in creating Discovery Bay; we should take care to soften the edges without losing some amount of authenticity.

Mandarin Kitchen Dim Sum - Table service in Chinatown, serving dim sum style Chinese food (another SF invention). Carts travel the restaurant and diners at tables select appetizers as they please.

Fortune Cookie Factory - Cafeteria style restaurant for Chinatown, features other SF inventions like chow mein and fortune cookies. Unless we wish to merge the two Chinatown eateries.

Sarah's Sourdough Shack - Quick service by the pier specializing in sourdough bread bowls of clam chowder - another SF invention. Also has other local seafood faves like Dungeness crab, abalone, bay shrimp and sand dabs. Inspired by Fisherman's Wharf.

Trolley Tacos - A taco truck by the pier in a converted cable car, covering the city's unique style of Mexican food.

Bayside Bites & Confectionary - An ice cream stand and chocolate shoppe, run by SF's Ghirardelli - who also have a soda shop in DCA. Features SF fave "It's It," a chocolate-covered vanilla ice cream sandwich in oatmeal cookies.

A couple of these got folded together as one, I think, like the separate Chinese restaurants. Otherwise, this should be a good menu resource.
