Maybe instead of exploring Mickey's Dreams we explore time travel with Mickey?
Welcome to Fantasmic! Tonight, our friend and host, Mickey Mouse, goes on a vivid adventure for all to enjoy. Nothing is more wonderful than an adventure—for in a moment, you can experience a beautiful fantasy or a time twisting experience! But beware… nothing is more powerful than an adventure—for it can also expand your greatest fears into an overwhelming nightmare. Are the powers of Mickey’s incredible bravery strong enough and bright enough to withstand the evil forces that invade Mickey’s fun? You are about to find out. For we now invite you to join Mickey and experience Fantasmic!—a journey through time beyond your wildest imagination.

Another spitball ramble for a nighttime show on the Moana stage, brought to you by mickeyfan

Fantasmic! would be an obvious choice. That said we can clearly make it our's with Sorcerer Mickey the entire way through and more Fantasia elements in the show. Can you imagine a massive Chernabog rising from a mountain instead of the Maleficent Dragon?

Another idea is a sort of live action version of the projection shows at other resorts, but that might be too similar to Fairytale in the Stars to work well unless the live performers get cut entirely down to Mickey only.

A DisneySea style show along the lines of Mythica would be cool but those are hard to write well.
I like that idea -- only thing I'm wondering is will it overlap with the Sorcerer's Apprentice dark ride?

Which brings up another point in that we don't really have a place to meet the fab five. Could that be the nighttime show on the Moana stage?

If there's going to be a show on the Moana stage at night, it needs to be an actual show. I think Fantasmic with Sorcerer Mickey or time traveling Mickey is the best route. And thinking deeper into it, Sorcerer Mickey can be the nighttime host for the park with Electrical Parade, Fairytale in the Stars, Fantasmic, and all of it ending with the Kiss Goodnight

It doesn't even have to be in the show -- I was thinking along the canal in Storybook Land...and Pomp and Circumstance Donald/Daisy will be in the Fantasia Gardens.
Fairytale/Storybook costumes? Or traditional costumes? Bc I'd love to see Mickey and Minnie strolling the park in something like this

I'm not sure if they still do (I'll report back on this in a couple weeks) but Paris used to have character costumes that were exclusive to them rather than use the ones the rest of the parks have. Can that be a route we go down here? Even some basic things like Aurora in her blue gown and Philip in his riding gear or Tiana in her waitress uniform or her flapper dress from Almost There or Belle in one of her dresses from Something There. Mickey and Gang could only appear in their traditional costumes in shows and have costumes for each land in Meet and Greets. The park is so unique as it is that we really should embrace it, right down to what the characters wear.

That might work especially with an international park -- and be unique for M&G times/locations throughout the park based on the lands they are in.
