@MonorailRed before we went off on this discussion I remember you said you had somewhat of a plan for the Australian Critter Country -- what was your plan?:bookworm:

I was thinking of a complete re-theme to the plan....

- Australian Version of Splash Mountain
- Australian "Animal Show" similar in scope to Country Bears or America Sings
- An Australian farm QS restaurants of sorts, Think A QS version of Garden Grill at Epcot meets the water views of Hungry Bear Restaurant at DLR. (I was thinking a "farm" restaurant would also transition well into Frontierland with @FigmentPigments idea for a Home on the Range spinner)
- A few shops, Probably re-enforcing the Australian "Characters" of the land (With the Splash redo and Animal Show)

- I hate changing the siteplan for the park.... but.... maybe a Rescuers Down Under themed attraction similar to Flight of Passage as a Adventureland transition? (I've only heard it's the best attraction Disney's done period... From people who have and haven't seen the movie... It's the only reason I push it)

I don't mind revisiting the park map this weekend (or if you want to do it this week) -- every actual Disney park goes through plan changes :)

Just want to check in with @Imagineerland and see if that's okay and how far along he's come with the map

Figment is okay with that. She says that she was debating doing the Rescuers ride as a sort of Sorin simulater where people are carried by marahute or just as movie ride where people ride in cars shaped like wilbur. so if you guys want to change it to the other thing, its okay for her.

I'm good with the Australian plan, I'm sorry for my previous hostility. I'm good with an Australian theme, the only thing I request is that we keep the Brer trio (Rabbit, Bear, and Fox). Their character IMO is vital to the charm of Splash. That being said, redesign of the characters are definitely something that should be considered (I.e. Different Color fur, different clothes,etc.). I'd be very interested in doing these, but the next few weeks are a little hectic for me, so it may have to wait just a bit.

Have yet to really make more progress, so change away. I'll let you know when I start with full effort. Next monday I'll be putting up what I am working on now, so around then would be a good time to have it all more finalized.
