What is the furthest in advance you picked a spot and waited for a parade? What park, parade, and time of year?
That's very bold of you. It's sounds like you just put trash on the ground and 2 hours later came back for it.Last year dd and I went without dh in December. We went to the Christmas party and we laid down maps and soda bottles we collected during the day prob 2 hrs before parade time, left went on rides ate supper and came back and our spots were still there!!! Yay for us!!!
Bold and trash. Excuse me!! The bottles were half full by the way. It's not as if I could let my daughter go off by herself if she had to use the bathroom or something being she was 8. I think it was brilliant. If you think of a better way let us know and maybe you will put it a more polite way. Have a magical day. That's very bold of you. We were there about two weeks ago. People were already saving their spots 1 hour and 40 minutes before the MSEP. I actually asked a CM if that's what people were doing, because I couldn't imagine waiting that long for anything, much less a parade.the reason I ask is: I have family at WDW this week. They posted on facebook that they set up camp 1.5 hrs before the MSEP. Longer than I would have waited for sure
Not trying to be rude. I have 7 year old. I know stuff happens. It's the fact you that you left stuff (and I would never leave a water bottle unattended on a sidewalk and come back for it, let alone putting stuff on the ground and leaving it so someone could trip over it) and the fact you went on rides and ate dinner and expected your spot to be there. Solution? If you want a spot two hours before a parade, man up and wait there like everyone else. I will have a great day. I'm a Sageteer.Bold and trash. Excuse me!! I never thought of that. I always figured the CM carrying the rope roller harness was the worst parade prep job but I definitely think all that taping would kill my back.Good time to buy some stock in masking tape. CM's will spend the day taping and re-taping Main Street with the absence of curbs on Main Street.
Not a man so i wont man up But I will mama up. I doubt people were tripping over it. It's the same as if someone was sitting there. And we did not drink our pop that we had left there anyway. I have no problem waiting for parades. Have done it for years but when it was just me an an 8 year old there's no way I would let her go off for a bathroom break while waiting. So just went and had a little fun. We figured if our stuff was gone when we came back oh well understandable. We did NOT expect it to be there just hoped it would be and it was so we lucked out!!!!Not trying to be rude. I have 7 year old. I know stuff happens. Disney needs their names, ages and addresses.I'm participating in testing MM+ I've been able to reserve a parade spot for September 27, 2030.
I'm going to be going with my daughter and her future husband and my future grand kids it will be great.
