Have any of you gone to the Cirque de Soleil show? I read it is amazing and a must see. The lesser priced seating, how is the view? Do any of you have suggestions where to sit in the category 3 seats?

There really are no 'bad' seats at Cirque. The views are great and some folks swear by sitting in the cheaper seats to have a better overall view [Cat 1 and 2 seats, some of the action goes on behind you].

Here's the seating chart.

We love the show. The above posts are correct, there are NO bad seats. We do not prefer the seats by the stage though. There is alot going on in the air, we found that our necks tend to hurt by the end of the show. My favorite seats are middle stage above the main horizontal isle.

I must say that Cirque never really appealed to me, but when they had a special CM promotion for 50% off I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad that I did because the show is absolutely amazing. There is so much going on at all times that you'll never once have a chance to check the time and figure out how much longer it'll be. If you have enough money to add this to your itinerary you should absolutely do it.

As far as seating, I was in Category 2 (Sec 203, Row GG, Seat 21). I couldn't imagine there being a much better spot as I was almost dead center and the perfect height to have a great view of both the stage acts and those that took place above the stage. There really isn't a terrible seat in the house though, it just isn't big enough for there to be a big difference in the seats.

We had never gone before, but last October decided we would see it. Very impressed with the show and will be booking it again for late May/early June as soon as the tickets go on sale.

We sat in the top row of the bottom section, 104 aisle seats closest to the center section, and had great seats. We hope to be able to get the same ones again this trip.

After making the purchase for October, I began to read where people had tired necks from looking up if your purchase the lower section. We did not have that problem, but again, we were in the top row of the bottom section.

We had cat 3 seats when we went and they were great. The only problem with Cirque is that there is so much going on at one time that it's hard to decide what to watch.

I have seen 5 Cirque shows (including La Nouba), and my conclusion is that there is no need to pay for the higher-priced seats. There's so much going on all over the theater that you'll have a good view no matter where you sit. So if money is an issue, go for the cheaper seats

We were all the way to the wall on one side and the view was still fine, not one complaint. I would definitely stay high as some suggested....or you will be looking up the whole night and trying to see over the stage. We are trying to get upper left-center or right-center seating for our next show this summer.
