Hi, has anyone eaten DINNER at CRT? If so, a few questions?

1) What was the atmosphere like? Adult? Kids? Romantic?
2) Was the food good? Worth the price?
3) Would you eat there again?
4) How many people are seated at each table?
5) Do they take ps's for dinner? How far in advance?

Thanks, much!! - Nancy

We ate dinner there last year. We did make PS and yes the food was really good. The atmosphere was great, It is a family one,you may even see some characters running by the windows if the cindy stage show is going on out front. We had 8 people at our table. 4 kids 1-12 and 4 adults. EVERYONE had a great time.
We even ran into Cinderella herself in the lobby when we were leaving! Anyd We would deff. eat there again.

Thanks Goofyman. That does help. I think we'll give it a try. The menu looks great. One more question? Do you think four adults dining without children would enjoy it? - thanks again, Nancy

I have eaten at Cinderella's for breakfast and dinner. Which meal did you have in mind? Breakfast is an all you care to eat style meal served to your table. Cindy and some of her princess friends are on hand to meet and greet. This is probably THE toughest PS to get. If you want this meal, you have to call at exactly 7 am on the 60th day out from the morning you want to go!! they will not accept a PS for the Castle before then ( along with all other restaurants in the Magic Kingdom!)
Dinner at Cindy's- These ressies are MUCH easier to get, but should still be made in advance. I have had good experiences each time that i have been there. Dinner is a much more adult affair than breakfast and it can be very romantic if you are with the right Prince or Princess. I am still eliminating all the frogs in my world!! You have definitely got to try the Banana Creme Brulee for dessert there.
Seating is at individual tables so the party is matched to a table, you arent seated with anyone you dont know. Actually I thought there was several pics of the interior on here, try doing a search on the member galleries, to give yourself a better idea.
A word about the PS system. I have found that if you want to eat in any of the nicer sit down meal places, a PS is definitely the way to go. The last time I was at EPCOT one gentleman I was talking to literally couldnt get into any of the countries for dinner because he didnt make any PS arrangements. Certain restaurants are easier than others to get, but I dont think I have ever had a huge problem in terms of not being able to eat where I chose for the night. Hope this helps!! Belle

1) The atmosphere is great depending on where you sit. I would rather sit AWAY from the windows, unlike most. The window area is very bright and you feel like you're just eating right in the park. If you sit away from the windows, it's very dark and romantic. The kids may not be that entertained but I think they'll be able to handle it. It is a cool looking restaraunt inside. Definately unique.

2) The food was good. I had prime rib and it was very good. However it is over priced. There is better food out there. I would almost stick to buffet for that price.

3) I would MAYBE eat there again. I just don't want to spend the money there when there is better food at other places. The food is good there but overpriced for what you get.

4) Well from what I saw it was just the people from your party at your table. Lots of little tables around the room.

5) The do take PS's for dinner but, when we went they were not full and we just walked in before our PS. Make it as far as you can just to be sure because even though it won't be busy because many don't show up, people will still call and reserve the spots.

We had 7 adults and no children in our group and we all enjoyed it very much. I would definitely want to eat there again. Also, the vanilla and chocolate royal slipper is a must! Best smoothie I've ever had in my life, and you get to keep the glass!

I have to be the odd man out. We went ( DH, DD, DS and myself) we are all adults. We went for dinner and were dissappointed in the food, etc. We had the food plan so we had appetizers to dessert and I have to say that is one place we wouldn't go back to. I haven't tried breakfast there because every year I call exaclty 60 days before we go and every year I call exaclty at 7 and every year it's sold out. So I gave up. Anyway, seeing the raves about it, I'm not sure what happened the night we went because we have gone to a lot of Disney restaurants but The Royal Table just didn't impress us. The atmosphere is beautiful but the food was just okay.

Wow. Thanks for the great info everyone. We were interested in dinner so it's great that it's more adult oriented. I'm kind of already expecting it to be overpriced so I'm not going to be too shocked when we get the check lol. We are definitely interested in the castle/princess theming so it sounds like this will be a treat. I really appreciate the reviews, good and bad. Love these boards!

P.S. Banana Creme Brulee??? OMG I have got to try this!!! - thanks, Nancy

We ate at Cinderella's Royal table in May and it was very good! We would definately go there again. I had Major Domo's pie and it was yummy! Here is an idea I haven't seen mentioned-how about going for a late lunch? We went for a late lunch-our reservation was for 3pm-and it was pretty much the same menu as dinner but the prices were lower and the dinning room was almost empty. We had a small light lunch at around 11 to tide us over until 3. We were full for the rest of the day and just had a quick snack at the hotel.
Plus, Cinderella was in the lobby taking pictures-my daughter nearly plotzed when she saw her. And the whole experience of eating there is so neat-how they treat you like you are royalty visiting the castle (and the butter is too cool!) It just made the whole day that much more magical!

Yes the Banana Creme Brulee s outstanding complete with carmelized Bananas on top!!! OH MY!!!!
I think eating there is so magical. I live in NYC and as such have access to some of the greatest restaurants in the world.I am not a huge gourmet type though so some of these type of restaurants dont do much for me as it just isnt my style. I am flying into Disney for the first weekend in August for the Passholder Preview of Mission:Space. I had asked a few people at work if they wanted to come with me and one of the places that I would have definitely done for dinner if the newbies had decided to accompany me was Cindy's!! I think it is just a one of a kind experience. Carpe Diem!!! Belle
