Cinderella's Table

So my BF and I were able to dine at the Crystal Palace last time we were at WDW (Feb-March 2011) and we were thinking of trying to get into Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast next trip.

What do people think? Is this a good experience? Is it too chaotic? Is it worth spending the extra $125-130 dollars for a couple in their 20's? How about the food?

Also, is breakfast the best idea or would lunch or dinner be better?

Please give me some feedback so I can figure this one out.

I have been to breakfast before and it was fantastic, the food was good and the atmosphere was very magical, i would defo recommend it, only downside was we had to get up really early to get their (we stay at the boardwalk mostly) and when we got there, there was already a queue! But i would still recommend it, if your going to go get adrs asap, think you need to pay for it in advance if memory serves me right! hope this helps

We did Cindys table last trip and we are going back again in March. We liked it, I wouldn't say the food is amazing, but thats not what you go there for, you go there for the atmosphere. Its just amazing to eat in the castle, atleast thats how I feel. Its great if you get a breakfast before the park opens, this way you can get some great shots of the castle without a million people in the way, and if you plan it just right, you can finish your meal right before the park opens so you can be some of the first people into the rest of the park. We were able to do that last trip, we waited at the rope heading into fantasyland because I wanted to be the one to wake up Tinkerbell (obviously they let a little kid do it, but thats okay), and we were able to see the Fairy Godmother walking around before they dropped the rope and she took pictures with everyone waiting and was talking to all of us about eating with Cindy in the castle.

I say YES!

We have done it once before, and Akershus a few times.

We're going in December for our honeymoon. DH and I are late 20's. I feel this is the best character meal. The setting is magical, the food is excellent (best character meal food I've had IMO), and the character is great. It's not a huge place so it's not chaotic at all and it's a very good character:guest ratio.

There's a reason this is the hottest ticket in WDW. I say go for it!

My husband & I had breakfast there on our honeymoon, and we enjoyed it as a couple in our 20's. The food wasn't bad, it was pretty basic. It was what I expected it to be after researching. Inside the restaurant I didn't think was too chaotic, but you wait in line to get your picture with Cinderella before going in to be seated, and that can get chaotic. We got lucky because we got pulled to the front of the line to be announced as honeymooners & didn't have to wait. But it appeared to be a pretty long wait otherwise.

I think the whole experience is worth doing. I wouldn't do it on every trip. If I didn't have a little girl on the way it's probably not something I would do again for a while, just because I've done it & I don't think it needs to be repeated for the cost. But doing it once is fun & worthwhile, IMO.

This is why I love this site!

You guys are all so helpful!

We will (hopefully) check this out on the next trip, if not the one after.

Well, I've done CRT once, and CP twice. But I've only done CRT for breakfast and I've only done CP for lunch, so I can't give you an apples to apples comparison on food. But I will say that I enjoyed the food a CP - if for no other reason that it's a buffet and you're bound to find something you like. I was terribly disappointed in the food at CRT - although I seem to be in the minority in that.

However, CRT IMHO is entirely about the experience rather than the food. It's a much smaller room (or at least feels that way), and you get much more personal interaction with the characters. Plus the cost of CRT includes a photo sitting and a free print.

I haven't been there in person yet, but the menus posted online look GREAT and everyone here swears the atmosphere is just incredible, so I say do it. :D I will warn you though that you have to pay in advance; I just booked a reservation this morning. ;)

We've been twice (Lunch & Dinner), and while the food and service are hit or miss, the atmosphere can't be beaten. As for the pre-payment, that can be avoided if you're on one of the dining plans with TS credits. It takes a call, but you can either a) book by phone and give them you CC for the guarantee OR you can book online, pay at the time of booking, and then call to have them redo the booking for CC guarantee and they'll refund your $. I recommend the 2nd way if slots are limited so you can ensure you don't miss out.
