Cinderellas Royal Table

We did not like dinner there.
Our favorite is lunch, but breakfast was good too.

Also keep in mind that dinner is not an official character meal. You will still greet Cinderella in the lobby for a picture, but the princesses are not at the meal. The Fairy Godmother and the mice put on a very short show during dinner, but they do not rotate around the tables for autographs.

I would go for breakfast. The food at CRT is not very good--no matter the meal, so it's really the atmosphere and the castle dining experience that make it barely close to worth the money. And there's nothing like getting to MK early in the morning before all the guests arrive and overlooking Fantasyland as you eat breakfast.

cinderella royal table

depends on what you are going for

breakfast has great interaction with the characters, cinderella, fairy godmother, the mice, and some princesses but the food itself is nothing great

dinner has fantastic food but hardly any interaction with the character, you pose with cinderella for a photo and during dinner the mice and god mother walk around the upper area and announce birthdays and such but no real interaction with guests

I've done both, I would never do dinner again.

The food at dinner, while not bad, was not worth the price and since there isn't a whole lot of character interaction (you don't see all the princesses) I don't think its really worth it.

The food at breakfest is nothing special, but you get to meet the princesses and it was a lot more magical, IMHO.

Breakfast was not the best, but the atmosphere and character interaction was top notch, so I agree with the previous posters. (the best breakfast for us was Donald's Breakfastasaurus breakfast buffet !)

We had Thanksgiving dinner at the castle, thinking it would be so special, and it was not good at all. The turkey was flat "pressed" meat and had no flavor. For such a high price, it was not worth it. There were no characters at the dinner, either. They had promised us a table for 10 for our "grand gathering" and they split us up. It wasn't much of a "grand Thanksgiving". They rushed us in and out, too.

I would say if you've never eaten in the castle, it is nice to experience it once, though, because it is pretty inside and fun to do.

We are trying dinner in August. We did dinner back in 2000 before the big change and it was great. We are travelling with a few little boys so we picked dinner because it was less "girly" and we thought the boys would love the idea of eating there.

we just had dinner there in May 2008...thought it was good food & a fun, fantastic place to eat. Picture with Cinderella was fun, and the Fairy Godmother does a little "celebration" show with 2 mice maids. The mice appear first and do go around to tables for quick hugs & pics, but the fairy godmother does not stop for pictures. You're right, it's not as girly as the princess appearances at breakfast/lunch. It is definitely worth doing at least once.

CRT breakfast...how long?

For those that have done breakfast, how long does it take? If I did the 8:00 am CRT breakfast, would we be finished with meal and stuff in time for rope drop? And do they let you out into park early?

We love the lunch at the castle and have never done any other meal there. As for if you finish your meal before the rope drop this happened to us in December at the crystal palace . If you finish before the rope drop you can stay in the park but you still need to wait for the ropes to drop. Its a wonderful experience though being the first ones though adventure land. I loved being in the magic kingdom with it so empty.

Can anyone tell me about the Celebration that they do for birthdays at dinner? Do you think it is worth it for a 6yr old or would lunch be better? Do they make the Birthday kids feel special? Also can I order the chocolate slipper for lunch or only dinner? Thanks for any help as I have to make ADR's tomorrow morning and I am having second thoughts about doing dinner.

We have done both dinner and lunch. I prefer lunch over dinner. It is more laid back and the characters don't seem to rush around as much. Never tried breakfast. Thought it was a bit pricey for eggs and what not. If you have kids then it may be another story and they would highly enjoy the Princesses.

Surprised my DH for his 40th at lunch. They even gave him special attention. They love when people have birthdays, especially kids. If you let them know when you make your ADR's they will gladly help you out with the slipper. They give the boys a sword and the girls get a wand for their birthdays and a card signed by the characters. Its a nice place to celebrate a birthday. I prefer lunch to dinner.

Errr, I just signed up for a dinner reservation in the castle for November. :lookaroun

I would still go and enjoy the castle. Don't forget, you will be eating in Cinderella's Castle while I'll probably be working. Have a great time and post photos of your meals.

Which is the better meal at CRT? Breakfast or Dinner

I have not done dinner there, but I will say breakfast is awesome for these reasons.

1) The food is good, i..e cheesy bacon potatoes DELICIOUS, and all you can eat. Not to mention breakfast is one of those few meals just about no restaurant can get wrong.
2) What better way to start your day in the magical kingdom than eating in the castle?!?
3) If you have a "character seeking child" this is a good way to get like 5 princesses umm "out of the way" all at once without having to wait in line later in the day (which I've seen waits up to an hour). i.e. Cinderella, Jasmine, Belle, Mulan, and Snow White will all present picture opportunities during this breakfast. If you have a princess loving daughter/wife/fiance/girlfriend pretty much breakfast here, pictures, then go wait in Ariel's Grotto and then ta-da done with princesses lol.

So breakfast all the way.

p.s. We had breakfast at 8:00 am. We got in the park early, and were even able to take some pictures with photopass people prior to our breakfast and got some great shots because the only people in the park at the time were people with early ADRs. We were seated relatively quickly. By the time we were done, the park had been open maybe 15-30 minutes. But we were already halfway in the park, had a wonderful morning, and in all reality you're still already in fantasy land by 9:15-9:30 which means you still can have plenty of rides to ride before the lines get crazy. We had no problem at all.

The list changes... When we went we saw Aurora, Belle, Snow White and the Fairy Godmother.

Well Cinderella for sure will always be there at the bottom taking pictures.

Actually I do remember the fairy godmother and Aurora showing up too...so that makes like 7 appearances.
