My daughter is one of those ones with the princess outfits. She drove me to an empty wallet on our last trip - Cinderella, Aurora and Jasmine outfits along with wand, purse, glove sets. Jasmine also has a wig...

Somewhere in the $250.00 to $275.00 range if I remember. We are lucky though, she does where at least one everyday after she get's home so they money is at least going to use...

TK421 posted a video of the show when it first came out. It really looks like it's aimed at the little girls rather than the whole family - the same market at they sell the princess outfits too.

Wbboy29 - one of the board members here is in the show, keep an eye out for him (unless he's in Lion King on that day)

Then she is going to lap it up and you will fill another card with photos of her glee at the show. ;)

I adore the whole Princess thing, but this show just bores me to tears. No offense to the Cast in the show, they are really giving it 110% and that much does show, but the story line is pretty awful. I hope they ressurect Cinderella's Surprise Celebration. That was a great show. I liked the music, the dancing, and the story lines of love, laughter and friendship. The characters at the end coming out to do a very large Meet & Greet were nice but werent the deciding factor for me. I hope this show isnt too long lived. Any idea of the time span for this thing assuming guest response isnt great?? Belle

There's a story line? :)

From the video I saw of TDL's, the major thing that sets it apart from WDW is spectacle. TDL's forecourt stage is much larger, so it allows for many more performers. The adaptations to the show to account for this size difference and playing throughout the day far lessen the spectacle of the show, leaving only the bare-bones plot. Brief side note--the carriage in TDL's is pulled by VERY fake plastic horses whose legs don't even move.

Again, the cast is doing a great job with what they've got, and it shows...but what they've got isn't much.

Edit: The show should only be around until the end of the HCOE.

I am sure I will, I am a little nuts with my photos. Though on this upcoming trip we will only be there a few days so I am leaving my good camera home and taking my tiny Canon SD20. I want to see what is like to walk through the parks bag free.....

I am sure they do give it there all, and for that I will be happy. If my daughter likes it, I am happy but would want them to put the old show back quickly. It really is a good show.

Assuming from what you are saying, the one in WDW has real horses correct. Either that or the horses are VERY fake plastic horses whose legs do move... :animwink:

LOL, nope, WDW has neither horses nor a carriage.

Which do you like better this show or Cinderella Suprise Celebration?
Personally, I like Cinderellabration better. To me, CSC was just a bad rehash of Fantasmic. The entire plot was more or less the same. Also, I think CSC was just too cheesy. Cinderellabration is a bit more ordered and I believe a bit shorter. It's a simple show that coratates Cinderella. I think it's exactly how a castle show should be.

The TDL show was only done at dusk.
Exactly. The reason it is bigger their because it is their substitute for Spectromagic or Fantasmic. It is their "nighttime spectacular."

I saw Cinderellabration while eating at the Noodle Station. Mmm. . . noodles. Anyways, it is a great show for little kids. I was surpised, though, that Ariel was not on the list of invited princesses.

Some complained she smelled like tuna.
