Cinderella’s Royal Table - What say you?

In all my visits to WDW, I’ve never once tried Cinderella’s Royal Table. Thinking of giving it a shot on my next trip, so I was hoping for a little guidance.

Is the food any good? What’s the overall experience like? Do you consider it a worthwhile place to eat? Anything else you would add about this restaurant?

Thanks so much in advance!

I've only done this for breakfast once. I will say the atmosphere is what saved the meal for me. The breakfast food was just...sad.

Possibly better for dinner offerings, but other than that, you are just paying a hefty price for a princess M&G during a meal in the castle.

It's my favourite MK restaurant because of its location and design, but unless you really care about that or princess character dining it might not be worth the cost or hassle of getting a table.

I find the best time to get an ADR is a week before you go. Lots of people cancel to avoid being charged the full price (which you pay at the time of booking). May take a few searches on the website or app to get a time that works for you.

The only reason to go for breakfast is if you can get an 8:00am reservation on a day the park doesn't open until 9:00am.

The difference in cost between Lunch/Dinner and Breakfast is only around $15pp.

We usually go each trip (every two years) mostly for lunch but had a dinner there in 2013. We go primarily because my youngest daughter (27) is special needs and is in love with Cinderella. The food has been ok but the setting and interaction with the Princesses helps. The last two trips (2015/2017) have been better than previous visits - both with food quality and Princess interaction. We are planning a dinner there in Oct 2019. It is mostly young kids so be prepared for a noisy meal.

Oh wow, I didn’t know that. So you don’t just book the ADR and then pay after your meal? You have to pay the full price up front as soon as you book?

It's been several years since we've been to CRT, but when the kids were younger, it was a must. We've had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and breakfast was our best experience...dinner the worst. I don't think any of them were truly spectacular, but it's the kind of thing where you're there for the atmosphere and to try it at least once. I think it's worth a visit at least once just to get the experience of dining in the castle.

We've gone 2-3 times over the years, always for breakfast. The food was good, not spectacular. You are there for the experience and the coolness of being in the castle. I think it's worth a visit at least once over your lifetime of visits. Sure, it's over priced, but it feels pretty special to be there. I've seen tables of just adults over the years so definitely not just for kids.

They now specifically sell the restaurant for adults looking to do proposals and romantic dinners in general.

Not sure a character meal full of kids is the best place for that, but it's in the castle if you and your date think that's cool.

Went 2 weeks ago for lunch. We have a 3 y/o who is REALLY into princesses, and it was fantastic (I mean, look at that smile!).

We had really tempered expectations about the food quality based on numerous online reviews, and we were pleasantly surprised. The charcuterie plate was just OK, but they had a beef and mushroom soup that was wonderful. Several of us did the steak and shrimp main, and everything was well-cooked. For dessert, the cheesecake is super-sweet, but the lemon cake and chocolate desserts were both delicious. The kids' meal was fine, but the decorate-your-own-cupcake was a huge hit. And the Enchantee bubbly was very good.

After you check in, you meet Cindy downstairs, then are escorted upstairs when your table is ready. Everyone in our party was given a wand (the ladies) or a sword (me and my dad), and my daughter was also given a wishing star. As we dined, Aurora, Snow White, Ariel and Jasmine made their way by. All were really good, Jasmine was fantastic.

Good atmosphere - not too loud, not too crowded. Efficient meal, but unrushed. Expensive, but if you're into princesses (or love someone who is), it is absolutely worth it!

We have done CRT 3 or 4 times in the past few years. Food is probably slightly above average for MK. Real attractions are Princess pics and location. Something about being inside the castle and upstairs overlooking Fantasy Land. It is expensive too. Our kids, however, ask for one thing each trip, this meal, so it is a required ADR. As adults, we will probably never do it again. At least once is understandable. More than that, maybe not necessary.

Had dinner there on my last trip. The pork shank was excellent, tomato soup was good as well. Our server wasn't the best but good enough. It was just me and the wife and i did have to ask for a sword. Watching the fireworks from inside the castle was fun

Even though the food quality was slightly disappointing in my own experience, let's just say that just from the atmosphere alone I really want to do this again some day. Maybe talk the hubs into an anniversary din din at the castle:cautious:

We ate at CRT last December (dinner). The meal was just OK. The princess interaction was good. If you are looking to meet the princesses this is the place. If you ar looking for a good meal with value look elsewhere.

We arrived on time and waited almost an hour to be seated
