As of 8:00 AM this morning, there was no Indian here. I asked a cast member about him, and they said he was under a major refurbishment. No ETA for when he comes back.
I'm glad you're not offended. No offense was meant by me starting this thread. Just general curiosity about long time park decoration. Thank you for the response.Hello All,
As I have stated in other posts I am half Native American. I stayed away from posting until now but thought I would add my two cents. I am not offended by a cigar store Indian; it is part of our country’s history. Every tobacco store in the US had a wooden Indian out front usually as a match holder. It fits in with the period of Main Street USA. I am however not as excepting with certain sports teams. Older movies and TV shows also bother me, as they just do not get the facts, customs and accoutrements correct. Think of it this way you are making a movie about Swedish emigrants and they are eating pizza. Technically, they both come from Europe. Personally, I think a wooden cowboy to go with the Indian would be hilarious, but I digress.
Or a Viking. Let’s just really go wild.Hello All,
