Alright, it's been a long time since I have been to Disney for Christmas. my family is going to be making a couple day trips (we only live 2 hours away) the week before AP black out days hit.

What holiday stuff can we do without paying extra money? What should we prioritize if we only get 2 or 3 days?

Holidays Around the World at Epcot is all free. You might not get to sit and watch the Candlelight Processional, but you can listen to it. You can take a ride on the monorail and visit the gingerbread creations at GFR, CR and Poly. Yacht and Beach Club Resorts also have cool decorations. I heard Disney Springs is supposed to have holiday stuff as well.
Don't forget about Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam at DHS. That show looks like it will be pretty good!

I live in west central IL. Traditionally fly Southwest (free bags) out of St. Louis (about 2 hour drive or a 30 min flight away). The deal I got was on Frontier out of Kansas City. This was $56.20 per person. The cheapest I ever scored was $49 per person round trip direct from Bloomington, IL to Orlando. Sadly Frontier pulled out of Bloomington. Parking was free in Bloomington too.
Oh ok. Doesn't help me..but great find for you!!

I think he was referring to the forum decorations - probably not until after Thanksgiving would be my guess.
Turkey before Tree!

Oh, that's completely different.

Say... the other forumites aren't going use mistletoe decorations as an excuse to grope me now, are they?

Well, now that the trick-or-treaters have all left my house, I have begun my annual 2 months of nonstop Christmas music! :hilarious:

I literally do not listen to any music except for Christmas music from Halloween until New Years Day every year. But what about Disney music you may ask? Well, here are some of my favorites!

Already started that and due to my work schedule we put up our tree on Sunday evening and will decorate the rest of the house over the next 3 weeks :D

I'd love to see pics from inside the parks today to see what (if anything) was put up! If anybody is down there today, feel free to post pics to this thread or one of the other ones.

My kid has never seen Prep and Landing, so we are definitely going to watch it before our trip! He watches The Nightmare Before Christmas year round, so we're good on that one.lol
Used to be able to watch the MVMCP fireworks from the beach at the Poly. Now that the villas are there not sure if you still can.
The bungalows do not cover the entire beach, so unless you are staying in a building that faces them then they don't have an impact at all. I know I'm in the minority here-but I love the look of them and think they really add to the theme of the resort.
