Christmas Commercials

What are your favorite Christmastime commercials!!

My two alltimers are the Radio City Christmas Spectacular because I love the music and the visuals. Second, I enjoy the Old Navy Performance Fleece from a few years ago...that really long one..."Youre invited...can you be there..."

This season, I am really enjoying Old Navy again, and am very dissappointed with GAP b/c they usually do a great job but I am not liking them this year.

I've always liked the old NORELCO ones that had Santa riding down the hill on a shaver instead of a sleigh. :xmas:

I don't know why I like it so much, but my favorite Christmas commercial is the one where the Hershey Kisses are acting as bells playing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas". I also like the Campbell's soup commercial with Rockapella singing.

I like the M&M one ---

Red M&M "He does exist" *faints*
Santa "They do exist" *faints*


I miss the old Coke ones "I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony.. I'd like to buy the world a coke, and keep it company"

I love the Budweiser ones with the Clydesdales and I love the coke ones with the Polar bears.

(Even the coke ones with the delivery trucks all lit up were cool)

I like the commercial where The Hunny Nut Cherios gives Scrooge some cerial and he feels better. The song played in the backround makes you feel like Christmas is in the air!:sohappy:

Oh I loved those too!!! What ever happened to those Coke comercials? I don't think I've seen one this year (could be because I don't get to watch much tv ).

Oh yeah, I loved the Budweiser and the coke commercials. They were really good. I have a few I like. One of my favorites that I always laughed at was the little girl who ran down Christmas morning to a room full of toys! And she said "I didn't leave him cookies, I left him cheese " Now dd always wants to leave cheese :lookaroun

And the coffee commercial where the son comes home and makes a pot, and surprises his parents Christmas morning. I used to cry when I saw that LOL. I also liked the M&M commercial. Walgreens is pretty good too this year.

YES...I was trying to think of that coffee one!!! I knew it was a folger's commercial I liked but I couldn't remember how it went!

I love the Lexus commercials were the husbands/wives/kids are all giving each other a new Lexus with a big red bow on it!
It makes me depressed, like I'm giving my own friends and family cr@p....

In Canada they used to play these commercials for Canadian Tire and the slogan would always be '...where you can give like Santa and save like Scrooge' but they havent played them this year, that used to be the way you knew christmas was coming, the Gap ones from a few years ago were also good, but whats with fran dreshner(SP?) and the monkey in the old navy commercials this year, its so random.

I also like the Heineken spot from a year or two ago, where the guy is gaping at the Christmas tree...

I thought that was cool... I am looking for a copy of it now.

I encountered one of those lit up Coke delivery trucks one year! They really DO exist!!

I always enjoy Cokes commercials, and the Budweiser Clydesdales ones where they are just pulling the wagon thru the snow and the Budweiser jingle is being hummed in the background The Power of Cheese is great too. Oh, and the old Norelco commercials (NOELco ) Last couple of years Ive been digging the Target commercials too. Oh, and Discover Card where the guy uses his card to buy more and more decorations, all to the strains of Jose Felicianos Feliz Navidad :lol:

That Folgers commercial always got to me as well. I would just tear up every time I saw it. I also teared up at last years JC Penney (I THINK) commercial where the family surprises their family by showing up on the doorstep Christmas morning after saying they were sorry they couldnt come for the holidays Oh, and the McDonalds commercial where Ronald makes a 'friend' snowman gets me too Im such a sucker :lol:

I like two that I don't think have existed for the last couple of years, but that used to be standards for the week AFTER Christmas:

(1) Pizza Hut: "Flaming turkey wings," sung to the tune of "Five gold rings" in "The 12 Days of Christmas." It was hilarious with all the different ways turkey leftovers are served (and thus tiresome, making you want PIZZA!),

(2) Sears' add that proclaimed, "Everything you wanted, but didn't get for Christmas, is on sale now at Sears!" (In their Everything-You-Wanted-But -Didn't-Get-For-Christmas Sale.)

ok im glad i did a search, i was about to start a thread about this! Dows anyone know what that commercial is for with the old lady that is hinting around that she wants a camera for christmas so she takes a picture with the stapler!!?? :lol: it cracks me up...im laughing right now

aww the one where Peter comes home?? LOL it was on the other day i couldnt believe they still show that one!! I get choked up too

It's for Staples. First time I saw it, I didn't get it. Then I realized...stapler...Staples :lol: I love how she shakes her head when she hands the stapler to them and says to take a picture of her :lol:

I saw the Folgers commercial the other day as well! I got all excited and yelled PETERS HOME AGAIN! :lol:
