Choppers Over the Magic

Each time we're in the parks, my family jokes that the incessant helicopters over the parks (it seems like especially the water parks, but maybe I'm just paying more attention there) are Michael _isner following and hounding us to spend more $$$, or to take part in on our fun.

Are these security choppers? Dis-Execs? Private tours? Disney sponsored tours?

If none of the above, is Michael truly stalking my family to try to take part in our vacation?

PS - Disclaimer. I've looked elsewhere to the answer to the helicopters and couldn't find an explanation. If this has already been addressed, my humblest apologies.

PPS - Also, despite being in DW more than 10x, this was our first AC visit. Kungaloosh to all members!

Hey don't worry about asking questions that have already been asked, it's not a problem.

Most of the choppers are tours. There are a few helicopter tour companies in the park areas.

The day the little kid died on RnRC, since the choppers were flying so low, and there were so many of them, the guests noticed something was not right.

I have seen a couple of videos on YouTube and such with sky tours of WDW that are broadcast on local news stations in Orlando, that could be one explanation :shrug:

As a few have already mentioned, these choppers belong to helicopter tour organisations in the Orlando tourism areas, such as I-Drive and Kissimmee. I know there are at least one group in each area.

The one that I know of on I-Drive is a small place next to the building that used to house the Race Rock restaurant.

The one in Kissimmee, well, I have no idea where that is.
