It's pretty good. Still getting used to Vista. Luckily I backed up 95% of our photos onto CD's before the hard drive crashed, so I didn't lose too much. I did lose all of my music in Itunes, though.

That stinks - any way you can transfer them back from your IPod?

I think I can, but I'm afraid I will do something wrong and erase my Ipod. That would really stink! I have the directions on how to try it, but I'm still trying to decide if it's worth the risk of accidentally zapping my Ipod.

You shouldn't have that problem as long as you DO NOT choose to "sync your iPod to your PC" when you initially plug it in.

Yes, that's what the person helping me emphasized. I need to choose "manually manage music" or something like that.
