Hi Susie! I will be on and off for a bit. DH took the kids to see his mother, so I am going to try and make good use of this quiet time and back up our pictures to DVD. I have a feeling it's going to be very.... tedious.

I tired that yesterday but my computer isn't reading my disc for some reason. I put a brand new disc in and it says there is nothing there and for me to insert a disc.:shrug::cry: So my son told me to go buy a flash drive and put my pictures on it and then put them on my DH's computer and then put them on disc.:shrug:

That happened to DH yesterday when he tried to create a recovery disc. He put the DVD in, and it said "no disc" He thinks it has something to do w/ the HP program. :shrug:

I'm still importing our pictures from the CD's to the computer. There are A LOT of them.

Morning!:wave: Happy Super Bowl Day!!!! :sohappy:

So...I'm torn w/ who to root for. Obviously, I'm cheering for the home team. But...if they win. That is going to mean a big parade this week in Midtown that's going to totally jack up traffic. :brick::lookaroun:D

Well, it appears my photo burning is working..... I imported 1,486 pictures from 9 CD's on to the computer, and am now burning them onto a DVD. It's going to take over an hour. :hammer: At least I'll have the peace of mind that I backed them up!
