No :(, we'd have to get someone to stay with the kids for 4 days, or they'd miss two days of school if we take them with us. So DH will stay home with them, and I'll represent all of us.
I considered a national Autism conference in Orlando, but it's in July, and right before Abby goes to church camp. I would miss seeing her off, and I'm crazy enough going to Florida in June. :rolleyes:
Are there any other parents from your school interested in going? you could cut a little of the price that way by sharing a room. Just a thought....

I might mention it to a couple of people - it's the weekend before Memorial day, so I don't know if they could. I would fly out Thursday (I know that's one mom's therapy day with her son), and fly home Sunday.

Ahhh - well, it sounds really great anyway! I hope you learn a lot from it.

I think so - it'll be interesting to hear Jenny McCarthy's keynote speech anyway. And I'll be especially interested in the number of exhibitors present. The schedule looks full, from about 8:30-6 everyday...I'll be thrilled to collapse in my room, I expect.

I know, she's very intelligent and really tells it as she sees it!

She's really grown into an amazing woman. I think that will be interesting, and you know she'll add a little humor to it too. :)

Ohhhhhh........

:lookaroun

Perhaps it's early, or the hair color....still don't get it. :o

Sighhhh.

The avatar is water being poured into a glass and turning into fire.

The signature is about... that's more abstract. It's about the author (Annie Dillard) going to a creek to be soothed because everything around her is "aflame" with life and activity and beauty and amazement, but even there she sees only more flames.

Water = Fire.
