My school is going to see Wicked in march!! :sohappy::sohappy:

I wasn't able to get Mermaid tickets (they sold out before I got there). But I would love to see Wicked again.

What?!
I know I missed something....
Is it that serious????
Quite possibly - if all goes the way the governor wants, if he doesn't retire in June we could lose out a substantial amount of money, and Dave would have to teach several years more. We're not ready for this at all - Dave is only 51, but we're kind of being forced into it.

I think the governor should retire...today.

Thanks everyone. It's a done deal that I have the job, now it's just finding out when I would start, and convincing the personel rep that I'm not a serial killer.

We could have Connor call. :lookaroun
I'm sure he'd be happy to put in a good word for you.

If he doesn't go now, we face serious cutbacks in his pension. He can go out of state and teach there, and still collect his pension too, which would be nice, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him take a job at Home Depot or something.

Well, the governor's proposals have to be approved by the legislature, but he has set a target date of june 30, 2008 for everything. So we need to have all our ducks in a row and ready to go before then.

Well...
I know it's not the way the two of you had envisioned it, but maybe he'll find something he likes in addition to collecting his pension.

He's mentioned Home Depot because they have an exchange program where he could work in FL for a few months and work up here for a few too. That could be good....
