I would beg to differ, but it seems to have made you so happy...
This works out better for everyone...
It's not like he doesn't have a sense of humor. :lookaroun
Now that's what I've always complained about.
Everyone seems to think he's all "THOU SHALT THIS!" and "THOU SHALT THAT!" Shouldn't ultimate hilarity be one of his attributes?

Funny you should be here..

Did you know typepad has an "edit comment" function?

Yes, I crack myself up!

Anyone see the Autism and Disney thread - it's awesome.

I did! It's great.

Jenny, in the thread (great thread, btw) you mentioned how Joel likes animals.
Does he like horses?
I work with a therapeutic horseback riding program every week, and it has been such a blessing for me and the kids.

I've been thinking about volunteering at one around here next semester. I really think that I would like it.:o

I was just thinking, between you and Vince, I have never known people who pursue their goals/dreams more actively. I admire and envy you both.

Really? Wow, I never thought of it that way. I always knew (once I started college) that working at Disney was what I wanted to do. I never could see myself doing a desk job- I get bored WAY too easily. I'm just glad my parents warmed up to the idea, and now support it (they almost did not want me to go down on my first college program).

Well, parents are like that...they want the sure thing, the desk job, they want to see their kids settled.

And it's hard to go against your parents, harder than you think it would be, because despite how cool we are when we are young, how non-conformist, we still love our parents very much and want their approval. It is such a big step to stay on the course that is in our hearts...and when you stay THAT course, it always works out in the end.

Actually, the reason they didn't want me to go down was because they didn't think I was ready to go (I had never stayed away on my own for such a long period of time before that). I am so glad they let me go. I met so many wonderful people, and still keep in touch with a lot of them.

You are so right Amy.:)
