Chilean miners to get WDW vacation

Chilean miners and their families will receive a free vacation to the happiest place on earth.

In January, the miners and their families will be treated to a trip to a 6-night stay at Walt Disney World in Orlando.

They will receive a hero's welcome as miners, their rescuers and immediate families will meet Disney characters, visit all four Walt Disney World theme parks and serve as honorary Grand Marshals of the Main Street, U.S.A. parade in Magic Kingdom. During their vacation in Florida they also will be treated to a $500 gift card per family, a group photo in front of Cinderella Castle and personal photo albums of their visit.

The story of the miners was one of the most gripping stories of the year as the men were trapped 2,300 feet beneath the earth for 69 days. The men were pulled from the mine in what many considered a miracle rescue.
The miners will be visiting Central Florida Jan. 27-Feb. 2.

Hahahaha. I was going to question that too but was not sure if anyone would get it. The mistriss or the girlfriend. I think he already made his choice...

I am really glad to see that these miners will be able to enjoy the parks. Probably something most would never be able to do in their lifetime without the accident.

This is awesome news. I'm Chilean-American (born here) plus I was visiting WDW during thier rescue. Stayed up late watching it. Wore my soccer jersey proud the next day at Hollywood Studios for sure. Great news. They're gonna have so much fun.
