I take my kids to the family restrooms. THERE IS NEVER A LINE FOR THEM IN MY EXPERIENCE. ;) in my experience. In MY experience. I'm gonna get it for this tip
I always use the family restrooms as I too see there is never a line for them and it's always nice to have a little privacy among all the mayhem>..

I agree about bringing your own seat. When potty training my daughter, I purchased one of the cushiony seats with handles (ours was Elmo print :-) )- i think it was $10 tops- and put it in a fabric/ reusable grocery bag from Publix.

My daughter felt safe on the potty and she had the handles to hold instead of holding onto the sides of the toilet (gross!). Then I used the Clorox wipes to wipe off the seat after she'd used it. (I also lysoled the heck out of the thing each night at the resort, but if you are flying you may not be able to bring a can of Lysol. :-)

Usually I wash my reusable grocery bags and (of course) reuse them but at the end of that trip, I just threw that one away. :-).)

We went through this last visit. My DD was 2 1/2. I bought a foldable potty seat as well as covers for the toilet. Also make sure to cover the toilets sensor that have the automatic flush with a piece of toilet paper or a post it. My daughter always and still is afraid of the automatic flush.! I do remember using a few restrooms that had "mini" toilets in all the parks.
