Chicken Soup for the Magic Souls

Hi Jenn!

Hey Betty - so kids are walking lightly around you, eh? Nice job.

Funny story for y'all. Joel had a rough day earlier this week, of his own making. Didn't feel like doing his work, screamed, wouldn't listen, etc. So the teacher made him stand at the wall for a minute before he could go play at recess, called me and told me what happened, and sent home the great day slips (that have a teddy bear on them) with a red X through it. He didn't know I already knew all about it and did NOT want me opening his backpack, grabbed the teddy bear paper and crumpled it up, pouted, was generally miserable. :D

Needless to say, the rest of the week has gone better. LOL

He's learned the consequences.
You can bet he doesn't want to bring home anymore of those red Xs. :D

Wow - that's actually a good sign - he realized his actions had consequences. I love it!

Pretty good. I had to leave work early today... sick. :(

Other than that, fine. Tomorrow is our 10th wedding anniversary! :sohappy:

What's new with you guys? Dot, how many more days till your trip?

Oh dear, I'm sorry you're sick. :( I'm just now starting to feel more like myself from last weekend's flu.

Hello to Jo, Nibbs, and anyone else I missed.

Edit: Silly me, Happy 10th!!
