Chicken Soup for the Magic Souls

We had a good day yesterday with Nibbs and WHF..

This is a really bad picture of everyone but Nibbs.. she looks great. Dinner was yummy! I got my fill of fried chicken! I loved the Trail's End buffet :slurp:

Aw! I am so jealous. You guys look like you are having a ton of fun, and the lack of crowds looks very nice. :)

I have more math homework again tonight. :brick: So I will probably be on and off for the night.

I am so glad you all are having a great trip Bunny!

Hullo - just popping in for a quick opinion on nursery bedding.

Also, i am a horrible, jealous person because when I saw that pic of Nibbs and Bun I was filled with envy. :lookaroun

I like the second one.

Hello to everyone! I am back for a second, I have to make brochures  in a few.

Hello everyone!

Quick stop by....

Amy, I like the second one (so would my son, he loves anything in circles :)).
Bun, so glad to hear y'all are having a great time - I envy you those small crowds. I wish we could go in the fall. I'm off to check your video in a sec.
Samie, good luck w/ the brochures. I'm in the middle of putting together letters for our book fair which will go into the teachers' mailboxes Monday.
Princess, hope you had a good day at school. :)

Hopefully, I'll be back to chat later tonight. I have to do some dishes cleanup, then help my son (whether he likes it or not ), to make up some of his homework. If I don't get back, have a good evening everyone!

Thanks Jenny! It will be fine, I think I have the process down now so it goes faster than it used to.

Hi/Bye Jenny! Glad to hear that Joel is well enough for homework. School was... school. I survived. :)

Yeah for work, they're more like booklets.

How are you today? A lot of homework again?

Where do you work? I seem to forget where all of my Magic Friends work. :hammer:

I'm okay, just getting frustrated with my math homework. My graphing calculator is smarter than I am. It tends to misbehave whenever I try and use it.

The short version...My company (based in MS) makes and sells wooden roads for equipment to drive over on a construction site. Its not super exciting, but it pays the bills.

Oh I don't miss graphing calculators! I still hold a grudge against the first college I went to for making me take Algebra I as a freshman, when I took AP Calculus when I was a Senior in HS.

Your company, you own your own? Or work for one? Sorry about all the questions. I'm a curious kid. :)

 Algebra I in college? I'm afraid that I'll have to retake HS math in college. I have no math talent. :brick:

Lucky you. I wish I could be done with it.

Last time I checked math involved numbers, not X & Y. Algebra II = My least favorite class.

I REALLY don't enjoy math. I'm much more of a writer.

I purposefully took AP Statistics (after only taking Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2 in high school) just so I could place out of math in college. So... I've never taken calculus or anything like that...

AP Statistics. What does that class cover? I wonder if my school offers that? I think my dad (the aeronautical engineer) would like me to take Calculus eventually. I shudder at the thought.

Um... I don't know. I guess just statistics and how you can make them say pretty much anything you want them to say... :lol:There was a lot of graphing too... It was fairly easy. I only got a B in the class but I passed the AP exam, which was the important part!

With my PR/Advertising degree, I just needed three credits worth of math in college, and my AP covered that--thank goodness!

What program do you use?
At this job, we contract out the actual design and they send it to me in PDF form to print out (they are basically letter size wire-bound booklets.) And there are SO MANY graphics (front and back) that it takes forever even on my good laser printer.

Of course at my previous job I did the layout and design work as well, so I made it the most user friendly. Part of my frustration is that it's not the way I would do it. Oh well.

I work for a company here in town, but its a small business which is nice. I stumbled onto them after I left my last job.

Yes Algebra I in college. The only good part was that it was a huge class so I usually did homework for another class during lectures. The only reason I am so good with Algebra math, is because I have taken it since 7th grade.

 Well you sure worked it out!

Small business's are always nice. No big company exec's to listen to. :animwink:

 I would never get away with that in our HS class with 20 kids. Something to look forward to in college.

Well, I'm going to go give my math another try. Be back later, maybe.
