Chicken Little in Real D

So I found out today that the city I live in (Melbourne, FL) is lucky enough to have TWO theaters refitted to accomidate the 3-D technology for Chicken Little. I found this a bit strange since the US is only getting a TOTAL of 85 theaters refitted.

Does anyone else know if their local theaters are getting some TLC?

How would one aquire such knowedge?

Honestly, I don't go to the movies often. I think most of what they make is crap anyway, and it's overpriced.

Huh.... neat, I would hope that wonderful Theater 19 at AMC Pleasure Island 24 would be up to the task already since it is the Digital Projection Theater....

I know that the theater near me will be showing it in 3D...(But that's up in MA) hehe.

There is at least one theatre in Birmingham that will show it in 3-D. The Rave cinemas at Lee Branch has posters up promoting it. We were wondering why there has been little advertising about the 3-D.
