Chicken Fingers(not nuggets!)

That is the case. There was another forum on here that got to ridiculous sizes as people are very passionate about nuggets vs strips. Apparently the nugget is the same meat but smaller and you get more. I personally still don't like it as the bigger strips have a different kind of meat style in that the meat fibers are longer and tear a different way. Not a big deal really but nuggets are pretty much bite sized and gone in one bite so it SEEMS like less.

Arbys has swithed thier chicken strips to "nuggets" also. The store told me the new oil they use that is trans fat free has a lower cooking temperature, and to insure the chicken is heated through, the smaller size just worked better in testing. I dont know if this is the same reason for the switch at Disney. The smaller Arby's chicken really is identicle, just like a strip cut into three pieces.

Most are now the nuggets.
This pic below was at the Electronic Umbrella.

I just ate some of the new chicken nuggets last week, and they taste the same as the old chicken strips so I wouldn't get too worried about it.

When I was there during the first week of March, a lot of restaurants were switching over to the nuggets.

I would say that they are not the same. They don't really have the same taste, and feels like you're not getting the same amount for the same price you paid for the strips.

I agree!

Can we call them mini strips? They look the same, just a little smaller...definately not a traditional "nugget"

These are like chicken lumps, lol! It's not as bad a change as I'd envisioned. I figured cooking time was part of the equation.

That said, beware when you go to places like McDonalds. Unless the article I saw was completely off base, McDonalds chicken strips are much less healthy than the nuggets, due to the oil used in processing.

Ok, so things weren't as bad as I thought they would be. I actually enjoyed the nuggets - especially those couple times when they gave me more than I ordered. Mmm!

Depends on how many you eat...

For 6 McNuggets (3.4 oz): 250 calories, 15g total fat, 3g saturated fat, 1.5g trans fat
For 3 Chicken Selects (4.6oz): 400 calories, 23g total fat, 4g saturated fat, 2g trans fat
