Hi!

I was just looking at the m:s news, and noticed this

"There is also a "chicken exit" for those guest that wish to experience the pavilion, but do not wish to embark on the main event of the attraction (similar to the Tower of Terror chicken elevator concept)."

could someone please explain what the tower of terror chicken elevator concept is? thnx!

ps. Mission space sure is starting to looook gooood! :sohappy: :sohappy:

You can go through the whole que area and then in the area where you get on the ride elevators is another exit with an elevator that takes you up and you can exit the area. I took it once when I was with someone who had a small child...he had to use the bathroom so the CM took us out via the chicken exit showed him the bathroom...brought us back through the chicken exit right to the front of the line.

If you do not wish to board the attraction, there is a separate elevator (not a ride elevator) to bypass the actual ride portion of the attraction. (My sister got INTO THE SEAT of the ToT and then had a panic attack and had to get off...they took her into the elevator where we had met up after the ride)

Why do you bypass the ride via elevator? Is the exit on another floor, or something? I guess I never noticed. I always thought the exit was on the same level as the entrance...

I believe you exit LOWER than where you enter...

The ride elevators entrances are in the boiler room which is below ground level. When you exit the ride you get out at ground level.

So...are you telling me that you are actually MOVING DOWN while in the Library??? That is SOOO cool if this is true. Because I know when you walk into the lobby, you go into the library and the doors open up but you never walk DOWN. (which is why I would guess that you EXIT THE RIDE LOWER than where you entered)

No lol...that would be cool though.

Actually it may be the oposite...boiler room is ground level and the ride exit and gift shop just below level. Just think of how it's all set up...makes some sense. Someone around here can confirm or deny what I'm saying. I'm going based on how I thin it's set up. All I know is that we took an elevator to get back to the ride loading area...I dont recall if we went up or down.

No. He's saying that when you ebter the line fot TOT, you actualy are on level Two (in reality, level One) because TOT is kinda sorta bulit on a hill thing. You see, you start off on level Two (or One, whch ever you call it) and in the boiler room, you board your elevator. After that, the ride exits on Leel One (Or the Basement, whcih ever you prefer). So you see, you exit in a basement type of thing. I hope that helped, just reading it gets me confused.

Yep confusing! ;)

Thats exactly what I was tring to say. ToT does seem to be built into a sort of slope.

Either way there is a diference in the levels....we know that much. :)

Walk from the exit of TT to the entrance, you will be walking up hill, the boiler room isn't on a significantly different level than the library and lobby, it slopes down but thats just the queue ramps and such, the exit is lower than the boiler room meaning the elevator would be used to go down (it would also probably help to keep the disney magic by not knowing if you're going up or down, but i wouldn't know, i'm not a chicken
