For anyone who has eaten dinner at Chefs de France with kids recently - what was on the kids menu for dinner? One recent menu I saw indicates that for dinner the options are 2 fish dishes (lunch menu has chicken strips and something like a hamburger plus the fish) and all ears has those options as well though the menu is from June of 2009.

Thinking of this for the CP package but want to make sure there is something on the menu for little one, and she does not like fish. So I want to make sure the dinner menu has ample choices for her.

Seems pretty limiting to only have fish choices on the dinner menu for kids, unless they are trying to discourage kids from dining there - in Disney?

Anyone with recent experience here, please?

Thanks!!

Les Chefs de France does not cater to children, but does offer a limited children's menu, which still includes chicken strips, a semi-burger and fish. http://www.themouseforless.com/tripplanning/menus/wdw/ChefsDeFranceKids.shtml

My recollection is they have a macaroni and cheese option off the adult menu for the low price of $19

If you want a multitude of choices for your child, Sunshine Seasons is the place to eat!

We ate there last week.

It is not a semi-burger. It's a burger, just in French

Here is the kids pasta and chicken fingers (Marinaria sauce is served on the side)

The mac & cheese is made with gruyere cheese. it's not exactly stouffer or Krafts the kids might not like it.

That was a nice photo . . . I don't even eat chicken fingers and it made me hungry. :D

As for the burger - is the bun not different from what we typically see for hamburgers served in American restaurants? The "roll" was the reason for my description, but I dunno.

Kids need a little push to branch out and try new culinary experiences.

Our kids grew up eating right along with us at Japanese steakhouses, Mongolian BBQ, Chinese markets, British pubs, French patisserie, etc...

If you let them fall back to the chicken fingers and fries routine everywhere they go they'll never learn to appreciate real food, not to mention the horrible things it teaches about nutrition and health.
