Cheese Sauce

Hi all,

Last time I went to Disney in 2001, they had Cheese Sauce on tap at most restaurant, I have heard that this has now been removed, can anyone confirm this? If so When? Why?

cheese sauce in little paper cups .. last time I saw those was 2005 in some restaurant in Magic Kingdom (Adventureland)

I have an eternal and undying love for the cheese sauce...Mmmmm.....


To my knowledge, they still have it at Casey's for all your hotdog/corndog nugget dressing needs. Now if I can just hold out about a week longer, I can almost taste it....

Disney figured out that they could charge more $$ by taking away the cheese in the condiment area and putting it on the fries themselves and putting cheese fries on the menu.

Cheese isn't cheap and some people were abusing the condiments by making a meal out of just condiments so they could eat for free. Once again the majority are punished because of a few cheap/rude guests.:brick:

It has been gone for a little while. You can ask for it though, it's behind the counter in most CS restaurants. I was scared to ask for it last time I was at Peco Bills though. The CM was so terrifying. :lol:

But I remember eating a foot-long hotdog at the All Star Sports complex, that was drenched in the cheese.....

That is correct that you can still find it at Caseys. Had me some goooooooood fries and cheese last night before the Cavs game.

Man, if someone is making a meal predominately out of cheese sauce, they've gotta have Great Wall of China-size pinworms working their way through their GI system. :hurl:

Cheese Sauce Details

Love is a HUGE cheese sauce fan, so I can give the details on availability.

  • Casey's still has it in the pump for free.
  • Pecos Bills, Cosmic Rays - you have to order it and you will pay for it.
  • Same goes for like Electric Umbrella and related.
  • It used to be $0.49 but lately it's ringing up at $1.07 (after tax)
If you forget to order it when you order, you're out of luck. You have to go back in line and pay the $1.07. They give you a small cup with cheese. Sometimes though, they barely fill it halfway which is a rip when you're paying for it. Other times, you'll get the cup filled more.

Now, they ring it up as an addition to another item instead of as it's own item on the receipt. Example:
Hamburger
$add cheese sauce

I've had them add the cheese sauce to my drink on the receipt which is kinda funny.

But yup, Casey's still has it in the pump for free, but everywhere else, you have to order and pay for it now.
