Check-in question

I had a question regarding WHEN to check-in. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge, however, we will already have been in Orlando (staying at the Radisson) for the previous 4 nights.

On our check-in day...if we show up at 9am, I'm assuming that we can start the check-in process, but that we won't get our UPH passes to go into Disney until we actually check-in and get a room?

If that's the case, there really isn't any benefit to checking in early is there?

You can check in at your convienence, you'll get your UPH passes on the spot whether your room is ready or not. This way you can get out and enjoy the parks. After returning from the parks you call the number they give you when checking in to find out your room number. You can even leave your luggage with them, they'll place it in your room when it's ready and it'll be waiting for you when you get back.

That is my experiance at the All-Star Resorts.

Oh..cool. So basically you get your room keys/UPH right away, but at that time there no room associated with it yet?

Then when they do assign it, they just go into the computer and set the room for your key...and there's no need to check back in at the fron desk?

Yup, that's how it works, very convienent!

Also, when you check out you can leave your luggage with the hotel, go enjoy the parks some more since your UPH doesn't expire until midnite, then go back and pick up your luggage.

We have checked in both early and late at the WL. If there is a room ready for you they will assigh it. If not just leave your bags...they can be delivered to your room...get your passes and head to the parks. When you get back everything will be waiting for you. They have valet parking ($6/day, it used to be free).

Hey KB you are right on the money!!! When your room becomes available they just assign it to the keys you already have and you are good to go!!! Definitely take advantage of the day and check in nice and early!!! Big doin's going on around here as my friend Mickey would put it!! Have fun and enjoy!!! Belle
