True story…

There was a department store in Morristown, NJ…which has since been demolished and replaced with condos (Epsteins…if I recall?) that i was in the sub basement years ago that had some storage rooms/caves that dated from the 1780s where the continental army was known to store supplies.

You want to talk about a surreal feel? We were standing were the General was during winter camp doing review…
Yeah Morristown has awesome history

While a small population of daily attendance, dvc is actually pretty cost effective if you know your family will be traveling even every 2-3 years to a Disney location. Now ticket prices are a whole other ballgame, and might be pushing dvc members (and others, but I’m speaking about dvc) to go less and less than they normally would. Or, buy an annual pass to cover two trips within twelve months and take a few years off.
When I priced it basically I wouldn’t lose money and I would stay at a deluxe vs. value or moderate for same price. But then I’d be locked in to DVC.

It’s a real stretch to “save money” with DVC - I don’t get it but I know people who have it and love it!
For us it was being able to stay at a deluxe resort for what we’d pay for a moderate. With 5, values aren’t an option outside of the suites. We did a couple nights at the Polynesian and loved it, but knew we couldn’t do that every time. We haven’t saved money compared to not going but we’ve been able to have “better” stays than we would have otherwise.

It takes a while for savings to come to fruition, but we were ok with that commitment to visit. We already wanted to. Dues have been fine, but ticket prices are definitely going up at a rates higher than we predicted.

Travel is heavy in and out of MCO. Rentals for vehicles is in high demand also. We make 4-5 online reservations for a car rental prior to flying. When we get to the rental counters at 1st floor look for the shortest line of guests and that's the car we will rent. The cars are a 30 sec walk in the adjacent parking garage.
Howdo you avoid cancellation fees?

Im laughing yet still hold a position lmao
I still have some $11.65 employee shares kicking in there somewhere?

But I wish I could find the 2022 threads were the 401K experts where flooding the threads:

“I bought it $160…but definitely get on it at $150!!…we’re ALL GONNA RICH!!!”

Clowns…most “investors” here aren’t much of investors…but I do pity anyone who reads that nonsense.

Honestly i dont even think that does it… disney+ i still dont see being a savior the parks need a ton of money invested into it and i think the true loyals found other places to go where missing a year or 2 no longer is a big deal to them the fomo is gone….
My buddy just came back 4 kids all different ages hasnt been in 3 years. His reaction is too long to even reply. Lets just say all 4 kids have no desire to go back anytime and he pulled an audible and took them all to Universal one day…
