Seems kinda strange to have 2 magician's on either end of the parks with Mickey in the Front and Goofy in Circusland..It would make a much more sense to have him in Pilot gear for his Goofini character.

Agreed. And I also wonder why TDO didn't just wait and build Mickey's dressing room in Circusland. It fits so much better and Mainstreet is getting more and more crowded.

1) TDO does not make those kinds of decisions.
2) Mickey fits in perfectly on Main Street.

I am not saying it's a themeing issue. He works okay there. But you can't argue that a magician's dressing room with meet and greet would fit better in a Circus theme land (where there are actually magicians) than on Mainstreet USA. Come on now, lets not argue just for the sake of arguing...
I absolutely 100% do not agree. Mickey and Minnie are destination characters - there should be anticipation to see them. Having them at the front of the park completely kills that.
It's like having a 2-hour movie and putting the very best part in the beginning.

Would love some DIFFERENT characters to be around... not just the Fab 5, Daisy, and C&D in ANOTHER costume!

There might be some different characters in the new Fantasyland.
For one thing, Pete, Oswald, Clarabelle, Horace, the 3 Little Pigs, Big Bad Wolf and Clara Cluck, all of whom are rumored to become regulars at Disney California Adventure, are rumored to appear in Pete's Silly Sideshow.

And I agree, magician Mickey fits in just fine in his dressing room at the Opera House.

Now if they have Chip & Dale in Circusland, does that mean they will no longer appear in Tomorrowland? Or are do they feel that the distance between the two locations is sufficient to maintain the magic?
While I am all for seeing new costumes for existing characters, is it that hard to toss the fans a bone and bring out something different?

Hmmmm, perfectly in keeping with my theory about this new land. Perfectly.
So now the only main classic Disney original without a designated m&g area is Pluto if you are correct. Where to put Pluto? Any guesses?

Why wouldn't Goofy be a trapeze artist or circus performer? Why a magician? The "Barnstormer" doesn't portray him as a magician.
