Characters in need of a redesign

The Disney Channel has recently been airing new Mickey Mouse cartoons, which in general I think is great. But the animation of the characters I do not like at all in this new version, as the characters are drawn similar in style to Ren & Stimpy, and also similar to cartoons on Cartoon Network. At times, it almost looks like that characters are unclean and in need of a bath. I do not think this is appropriate for children, and wish they would animate new episodes of Mickey and the gang in the classic style.

Because Paul Rudish the Director of the show worked at Cartoon Network during the 2000's his previous works were Dexter's Labortatory, Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack to name a few...

You should have seen how Mickey used to act in the old 1920's and early 1930's cartoons if you want to see what is considered appropriate for kids. And about the cartoon network part, well Paul Rudish formerly worked on a few Cartoon Network shows in the past. Also what does this have to do with the discussion about the characters at the parks?

There's an old picture of Paul McCartney at Disney World with Pluto and Robin Hood. Let me just say that the Robin Hood in that picture looks MUCH better than the current one.
Are you referring to this version??

What really bugs me is this...Why did they make a new Lumiere Costume only to be used during the former Move It,Shake it, Celebrate it...It would be nice to see the newer once be used for the BaTB Live..

Jack you need to compromise with. Part of what makes the character great is his use of language (he's so polite, even when he's about to lay the smack down on Oogie). Otherwise, you'd need an excellent performer, someone with experience in pantomime, and that would run afoul of how Disney does things in Florida, from what I understand concerning the unions and equity.

I love his design for Move It Shake It Celebrate It since he appears to look at the viewer unlike his previous appearance.

Sorry for the thread bump, but after seeing this video of the Hippo and Ostrich from Fantasia at the DVC Moonlight Magic Event. I really think they are long overdue for a makeover. Mainly the Hippos who hadn't changed since the 1970's. Especially since a couple Disney characters at the parks have started getting a more accurate and onmodel look to their cartoon counterparts like Smee, Marie and recently Horace and Clarabelle.

Goodness, looks like Daisy Duck and a human produced offspring...

Alright, I have a few that could use an updated look. These are just my opinion:

Br'er Bear: Make him a little chubbier (He always looked too thin next to his Splash counterpart), and MAYBE give him a little bit darker fur.

Goofy: Kinda looks sad when looking at him face-on, but that is definitely fixed in the Articulated version.

Eeyore: I dunno...just a little off. Maybe give him a BIT of a happier expression

Don't forget the Seven Dwarfs who hadn't changed since late 1981/1982 (Besides Dopey who gained his current design around 1991)

I'd also say the Max Goof suit needs some love. He looks like he's had fifteen espressos.

Wow, thread from the dead!

Did they ever try running a version of Max that more closely resembles his movie designs, with the jeans and hoody? I feel like today that design would be more recognizable to most guests.
