Character Height Ranges

Joanna71985, that height range is common? I would have thought that it would be a higher set than that.

Oh yeah. It's extremely common. As is the one right above it.

but there's a lot of cool stuff that you guys get to do that we don't, so it's really just a tradeoff... and honestly, I have major respect for anyone who can handle your role, I truly don't think I could ever do it!

Buzz has been upped to 5'10"... his new range is 5'6-5'10" with no half inch.

i only know a couple of people in entertainment and if i remember correctly they said it is really hard to get approved in buzz. why is this?

Also, i think they said people who got approved didnt like playing buzz... again why is this?!

I would guess it has to do with the way Buzz is put together.

Buzz... you either fit in it, or you don't.

To be frank (and you're now learning more than what costuming will likely tell you), there isn't much flexibility with it as other costumes, like Pluto and Eeyore aong other, since it's made out of harder inflexible materials, unlike the fabrics/cloths that most of the other costumes are made from.

At exactly 5'10" Tigger and Geppetto would be your mainstays, followed by the Country bears and Tweedles among others.

Rumors are going around Goofy will drop down to 5'11..and Tigger will drop to 5'10 limit. Any word?

5'8 places one in Pluto, Eeyore, Buzz Lightyear (pending costume approval), and Rafiki among several others.

5'9 places one in Eeyore, Geppetto, Country Bears, Prince John, and the Tweedles among others.

It's been 18 years... wow.

I'm unsure if the character height ranges have been revised in that time, but the math puts you at 5'5 1/2", which lets you just barely slide into 5'6" characters. The big ones will be Pluto and Buzz Lightyear.
