OK heres a question for ya'll to help me out with.

In June we are heading down to wdw for vacation with someone who has never been. We have all been 7 times. She is 17 and wants to go to a character breakfast. I've been to the one at crystal palace it was ok but she's not a Pooh fan. She enjoys everything else, WHich one do you think she would enjoy the most? Thanx!

Well, chances are you will not get reservations in the castle for the Princess breakfast, but you might get lucky and find the Norway Princess Breakfast still available. Ohana's is also a good one. Last time we were there it was Mickey, Goofy, Chip/Dale.

The ones I like best are Chef Mickey's & CRT, but here is a list of some of who's where off the top of my head.

Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Goofy, Chip & Dale -- Chef Mickey's

Lilo & Stitch -- O'hana's

Cinderella & other assorted princesses -- Cinderella's Royal Table

Princesses -- Askerhaus in Norway, food's just okay here.

Donald's Breakfastsauras -- Animal Kingdom

There is also a Cinderella dinner at the Grand Floridian in 1900 Park Fare. You can check this menu and others at www.allears.net

I went to Chef Mickey's for a character dinner. I was 21 at the time and it was my first character meal and I really enjoyed it! I assume it would be much the same for breakfast.

I am going for the first time to Ohana for breakfast in January...so after then I'll have another character meal under my belt!

Its not that you WON'T be able to, its just really difficult to get into, as it is the most wanted character PS on WDW property. In fact, you need a credit card to reserve your spot. If you are staying on property, call exactly 180 days before your arrival. I think the reservations place opens at 7 am est time, so I would call then. You would have a much better shot at securing this breakfast, especially since you are going in June.

For a person who has never been to one before, I would say Chef Mickey's is the best. Goofy, Mickey, Minnie are all there...

Also, it is relatively easy (I would guess) to get a priority seating there.

As a big Donald Fan, I am going to try to get in at Breakfastasaurus next time...

My wife is a Cinderella nut, so when we did our honeymoon last year (around this time) we went to Cinderella's Royal Table...it was just amazing...our server even brought us two Cinderella wine glasses because it was our Honeymoon!

It was great!

However, it is EXTREMELY hard to get priority seating there.

If your friend is a princess nut (like my wife) try to get a priority seating there or at the restaurant in Norway as they do princess breakfast also, but if not, don't worry...get Chef Mickey's its a cool experience too.

Good luck,

Johnny

My husband is lukewarm about our trips to Disney, and the only thing that really perks him up is when we hit a good restaurant. We tried out Donald's Breakfast at the Animal Kingdom last November and it was FANTASTIC! I have only ever been to Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's for other character meals and we love them both. However, Donald's was by far the best character interaction we got. Also, the staff is particularly excellent and so hilariously entertaining. They were very good about helping out with timing so that you were at your table when characters came by, you weren't distracted, helped out taking photos, and just worked very hard in general to make sure you had a perfectly magical experience. They did some great magic tricks with my son (6) that he couldn't stop talking about! It was our last day there, and it just capped off the trip perfectly. My husband has requested we go back when we go in January! That says it all!!

I have absolutely no input about princess meals anywhere as my son would sooner die than dine at one of them. :p

Most people start calling for reservations exactly 180 days out and 5 minutes before the phone lines open up. It's crazy. :brick:

I called yesterday for reservations in early February [less than 90 days] and got the last slot at Liberty Tree for dinner, but there were still a few available for Cinderella's Royal Table and Breakfastosaurus breakfasts when I booked them. I realise June is busier than February, but is it that much busier?

So you can call 180 days out and get reservations if staying on property? I thought is was still 90 days?
