Hello all and welcome to another exciting update from various days after work, and a few day trips, mostly this week.

Let's Start at the Magic Kingdom:

6/5/07 was the 8th birthday for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Nothing special, just a tidbit.

The Mystery Box across from the Village Haus has shrunk! These are new, and painters were on the scene hand-painting every stone.

The Laugh Floor was incredibly more funny than normal, thanks to a Bunson Boyle instead of Buddy. Instead of Mind Reading, Bunson had a "how to be a funny monster" tape, which played as he attempted to keep up, nothing matched from the tape to the audience, making it extremely funny. and added another "That Guy" moment. The Cast for this show is fantastic.

Speeking of Great Casts, the Cast of Wednesday's Dream Along with Mickey was the best I've ever seen, even in the intense 98 degree weather!

Haunted Mansion did close Wed morning, but drew waits as long as 35 minutes on Tuesday.

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin has new Fastpasses

Jungle Cruise is next to get the new FP tickets.

The Transportation and Ticket Center has a Mystery box now too!

To Epcot!
The New Future World West Tipboard (outside The Land) is now operational! And yes, you can check Fastpass Times for Soarin' before going inside now!

The Gran Fiesta Tour is now on the MAP! "Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros Donald Duck, Panchito, and Jose Carioca host a musical boat tour." The icons for Handheld Captioning and Must Transfer to standard wheelchair are displayed too.

Flower and Garden Fest is over, All the Pirate topiaries have been removed. The 3 Cab Topiary Remains, as well as some others around the lagoon, but they may be gone soon.

MGM:
Construction has started for the queue canopy at Lights Motors Action!

OTHER:
I stayed at Shades of Green for the 1st time, yes I have family in the Military, and I was kinda excited. If I'm not mistaken, the Shades of Green was formerly Disney's Golf Resort, way back. It overlooks the Palm, Magnolia, and Oak Trail courses. The resort had a HUGE makeover in 2003. Nice resort, not like Disney, but nice. But I'll leave it in pictures for you to judge.

Outside Canopy:

wow...Shades of Green does look nice. I had no idea. Nice new bench at the MK. I see Soarin' had a 120 minute wait and no Fastpasses...when did you take that pic? About 9:10 am? :)

Note I added news about the Epcot map above.

I stayed at Shades of Green back in the day when it was The Disney Inn. I don't remember every detail about the place, but it certainly looks like it underwent some decent renovations.

thanks Chape....I look forward to your reports. Your pics by far are always clear and may I add very well taken. Hows the new job going?

If that queue canopy is going to cover the whole queue that will be nice. That was the main thing that made it not worth it for me last year was standing/sitting and roasting with no cover for almost an hour.

The words "Donald Duck" being on the map are going to increase Mexico's foot traffic and the queue. I can pretty much guarantee it.

Anyone know what the TTC box is about? I just noticed it for the first time about an hour ago when getting off work.

Before I saw it, I was in one of my little reveries while gliding into the TTC via Resort and seeing two other monorails gliding in or out. Was once again in fantasy world and thinking how it is such a unique sight in the world to see 3 monorails moving side-by-side. While in the reverie, the platform we all know and love disappeared, and in it's place--forced in by the other 2 monorails and their overhead beacons--appeared a spaceport worthy enough to be in Star Wars. Then, I returned to reality and was saddened that something so amazing is tied together by such an eyesore that the TTC platform is.

Just after that, I saw the "box." I began thinking that maybe, just maybe, my mind created reality, such as a new robot to welcome guests to the spaceport platform.

But, no, Disney is no longer capable of such open thinking into design. Probably a sign.

Solid update, Chape! :) I'm glad that the Laugh Floor is changing it's act slightly. Stand-up isn't funny with the same jokes twice.

Thank you very much! The new job is good, a bit slow, I only am working 2 days a week during training, which I hope will pick up soon.

If that queue canopy is going to cover the whole queue that will be nice. That was the main thing that made it not worth it for me last year was standing/sitting and roasting with no cover for almost an hour.

The Canopy will cover the waiting area just past the garages, the final holding area before the stadium opens. Hopefully it will be up in time for July crowds.

I haven't seen the Golf Resort since it was changed to Shades of Green. Thank you for the pictures they really look great

It's a very nice resort, although there were a few things I was disappointed with, like the food, service, and bus transportation. Waiting 10 minutes for a cup of coffee in the morning is never fun. The resort itself is nice, but a maze to get through at that...I was lost a few times.

I hope I never have to hear "because 7-8-9" again. And the sad part is, someone actually sent it in. :lookaroun Some jokes are strong while others aren't. I normally find Sam and Ella (or mac and cheese as they are sometimes called) the funniest, unless Bunson Boyle is in the show with his tape.
