Hello all and welcome to another exciting update from various days after work, and a few day trips, mostly this week.
Let's Start at the Magic Kingdom:
6/5/07 was the 8th birthday for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Nothing special, just a tidbit.
The Mystery Box across from the Village Haus has shrunk! These are new, and painters were on the scene hand-painting every stone.
The Laugh Floor was incredibly more funny than normal, thanks to a Bunson Boyle instead of Buddy. Instead of Mind Reading, Bunson had a "how to be a funny monster" tape, which played as he attempted to keep up, nothing matched from the tape to the audience, making it extremely funny. and added another "That Guy" moment. The Cast for this show is fantastic.
Speeking of Great Casts, the Cast of Wednesday's Dream Along with Mickey was the best I've ever seen, even in the intense 98 degree weather!
Haunted Mansion did close Wed morning, but drew waits as long as 35 minutes on Tuesday.
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin has new Fastpasses
Jungle Cruise is next to get the new FP tickets.
The Transportation and Ticket Center has a Mystery box now too!
To Epcot!
The New Future World West Tipboard (outside The Land) is now operational! And yes, you can check Fastpass Times for Soarin' before going inside now!
The Gran Fiesta Tour is now on the MAP! "Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros Donald Duck, Panchito, and Jose Carioca host a musical boat tour." The icons for Handheld Captioning and Must Transfer to standard wheelchair are displayed too.
Flower and Garden Fest is over, All the Pirate topiaries have been removed. The 3 Cab Topiary Remains, as well as some others around the lagoon, but they may be gone soon.
MGM:
Construction has started for the queue canopy at Lights Motors Action!
OTHER:
I stayed at Shades of Green for the 1st time, yes I have family in the Military, and I was kinda excited. If I'm not mistaken, the Shades of Green was formerly Disney's Golf Resort, way back. It overlooks the Palm, Magnolia, and Oak Trail courses. The resort had a HUGE makeover in 2003. Nice resort, not like Disney, but nice. But I'll leave it in pictures for you to judge.
Outside Canopy:
Lobby:
A Look at the Hotel from a park area:
Remind you of anything?
Anything Else?
Ok, that's all, please Discuss.
