So Over It

A glorious creation that keeps my lips feeling smooth and free of any stinging or dryness during the harsh winter.
Wait, did you say Chapek or Chapstick?

Some would argue that he already has.Yadda, yadda, yadda, he's here to stay until he can't wreck anymore than Ralph.
This happened when Eisner was in charge, then when Iger appeared to not really care about the parks so it is only natural that Chapek would have that target on his back. The next one will be the same. You can go back to the beginning of the internet discussion boards and it is like a broken record. This one has a little justification compared to those, but basically people found fault with everyone that does things that they don't understand. That said, currently no one in the company is thinking long range, they are focusing on the big money and they should be thinking about what happens after the wealthy find new toys to play with!I joined this board in 2018 and I have to ask: was there always resentment for Disney's CEO and Chapek is the worst of the worst or did people seem to get along with previous CEOs? Honest question.
Usually when I visit a message board for a sports team every other thread isn't about the CEO ****ing up but rather how other individuals in the organization aren't living up to the mark. But don't get me wrong, there's also plenty of blame for the owner/manager/etc... just not 99% of anger towards the CEO.
I get that Disney Parks are not what they used to be. But I mean, in this day and age, what business is?
Trying to understand how one man has solidified a base to move in such unity!
From what I recall, yes, there's always been negativity towards the CEO (Iger definitely got his share of hate). But even before Chapek took over and was running Parks & Resorts, he was especially hated for his poor management.I joined this board in 2018 and I have to ask: was there always resentment for Disney's CEO and Chapek is the worst of the worst or did people seem to get along with previous CEOs? So was every precious Parks & Resorts heads, especially WDW VP's. Every one of us has our own ideas on how we would run the parks and what we would like to see done. So no matter what they do, there is always a large group that will be unhappy about something. I was one of those, but I never pretended to know how to run the Walt Disney Company. I only focused on WDW because that was my east coast park. From what I recall, yes, there's always been negativity towards the CEO (Iger definitely got his share of hate). Josh D’Amaro had escaped this somewhat probably because of goodwill toward him as head of WDW but I’m noticing that is gradually changing too.So was every precious Parks & Resorts heads, especially WDW VP's.
