Change in delivery policy? Thinking about amazon prime now.

I have read a few things about water not being able to be delivered to resorts. I am staying at Art of Animation suites in July and would like to use amazon prime now to get some snacks and water delivered. If I have a suite I may as well take advantage of the kitchenette. Is there a new policy against this? Disney's website is not loading for me right now so please leave me any info you have. THANKS!

What have you read and where have you read it? We have a Garden Grocer order being delivered in a week.

You will be charged by the package for Amazon and other delivery services. Garden Grocer is exempt AFAIK.

A regular Amazon Prime order is subject to the same package delivery fee as a regular Amazon, Walmart, Staples, etc delivery. As far as we are aware, Prime Now & Amazon Fresh (if/when they add coverage at WDW) which are both technically different than just Amazon Prime, and other similar services like WeGoShop, Garden Grocer etc are all still good to be delivered.

Yeah I started a different thread. Got an email from Kingdom Strollers last night indicating they had to alter my order and remove the case of bottled water due to an immediate policy change at WDW. I would guess they'll soon start charging more for their strollers to make up for the hit in profit.

If you use GG to deliver to a resort is there any rule against getting alcohol delivered?

Obviously this would only be consumed in the room.

I believe you need to contact them directly. It's not on their site, but I think they will procure it if you meet their proof of age/delivery requirements.

Thanks CaptainAmerica and dreamfinder.

Do the fridges provided typically have enough room for a normal sized wine bottle to stand up in? We’re stating at AKL if that makes a difference.

I read that some delivery services were no longer allowed to deliver cases of water and that Disney staff can't deliver it to the room. I am fine with picking my order up myself in the lobby.
