Chances of 'Ohana reservation?

I just booked my Nov. '15 Disney trip, and naturally, all reservations for 'Ohana are 100% full for that time.

I'm wondering if anyone has had luck with a reservation opening up before their trip. Basically, should I keep trying and trying to snag a reservation there, or is that pointless?

Any tips would be awesome! Thank you!

How big is your party?

I would use a service to help you like ADR sniper or Disney Dining Buddy. Google those and see if they interest you.

We're only a party of two. THANK YOU. I had never heard of ADR Sniper/Disney Dining Buddy. Giving it a shot now!

Sometimes more open up early on. I've been trying to get a Be Our Guest reservation for my October trip, and then about 2 weeks ago, a bunch of time slots opened up at once. I don't know if there's any pattern to that though.

If you're flexible, your best bet is to check 1 or 2 days before, since people will cancel last minute when their plans change. I just checked, and there are a few times available at Ohana for tomorrow and Friday, just as an example. The times might not be ideal, but at least they're available.

You could also use a service like Disney Dining Buddy, where they'll text you when something opens up (although it costs like $8 per reservation).

Thanks so much! I just signed up for a few notifications. I've never been to 'Ohana so the $8 fee was worth it to me. ;) I'll just keep checking - thanks so much!

I've had amazing luck with wdwtoold adr sniper.

I've got everything I asked for including 'Ohana, BOG, and Cinderella's royal table.

I enjoy stalking the website, so I never bother paying for those services. Mind you, it takes some pretty persistent stalking, but we've scored 'Ohana dinner ressies on 3 separate occasions within 2-3 weeks of travel time. In general, things tend to open up last minute as people fine tune plans and want to avoid the no show fees.

If I were you, I'd be calling Disney reservations 2-3 times a week every week until something opens up.......because something will. People are regularly making or changing or cancelling dining reservations, which will enable openings to come up if you call at that right time.

I'm going in November too and Ohana wasn't available when I originally made my ADR's at the beginning of May, but I managed to get one a few weeks ago. They do open up once trips get closer and people firm up their plans.

We are checking into the GF on Saturday 7/25. We didn't even make the decision to take the trip until somewhere around 7/6. In that time we were able to get multiple options at Chef Mickey's and the Crystal Palace even though both showed 100% booked at first look Keep trying. Now that there is a charge for now showing up for a reservation people are more likely to cancel and open up slots.

We got one with our party of two and if we can do it, anyone can. Availability changes by the minute or so it seems, so check back constantly and you'll get in. Good luck!

Just keep trying! People are sitting on reservations they don't really want.. For example,I have a BOG reservation right now I will likely be canceling because I am hoping Liberty Tree opens up for reno (don't worry, we are eating at BOG.. I have it reserved for 2 nights but hope to switch one to liberty tree).

I set up a Dining Buddy alert for Ohana for late August. I didn't book the trip until a couple weeks ago and there was no availability when I was first checking. I bought the alert and got the ADR I wanted within 12 hours. I'm still getting alerts at least every other day, and just yesterday I got 3 in the space of 2 hours. Well worth the $8 considering it's an ADR I really want!
