rotflmao yes I think you are the only person without a mobile phone. I have had one since the beginning of High School hehe.

I have a Nokia with a Cingular plan. It is my business phone so unfortuately I have to have it all the time if I don't want to miss a client. However where I live, a tower is always out and I can only get one band of reception. and I can't use it over the Mississippi River because it cuts out.

Well, I had an old Motorola Car Phone when I was in HS, back in '95... my parents wanted it so that they could check up on me every few minutes... (this was back in Analog days, before caller ID)

Then I upgraded to a Nokia Digital phone... when I lived at home, I had a use for it... I was never home! However... now that I have my own place, there's no need to avoid the parentals.

I love my cell phone. I had a verzion V120 but the antenna kept breaking. So I canceled my service with them and now I am with Nextel (direct connect !!!). I love just pushing a button to talk.

I have an old Nokia 5120 with a silver cover that opens and closes where the numbers are. Looks cooler than the regular plain black that it comes with. It actually died last month so I need to get a new one. I am in love with the Samsung Slim or the "Blue" but I only use them to be reachable and for emergencies, so a plan would cost me a lot. Without the plan, those phones are too expensive now! So I´ll wait until I have a job... :animwink:

Yup. Even my DH has one and he hates those things. But he has it for emergencies. Just the basics nothing fancy.:lol:

Well I do have it for safety if I ever need to call AAA to get the keys out of my car LMAO and I call alot But of course I need it for directions since I get lost alot LOL. And gotta keep intouch when I am on the go.

p.s. My aunt is a talkaholic, she has two cordless phones at her house and a cell phone. I think the women has the phone attached to her ear permantly.
